Not because of a gastro crisis: We were back and forth during our visit to the panoramic restaurant HARTILSBERG. The gourmet menu is a dream. Absolutely wonderful. Every single course or dish was absolutely perfect. Rarely in Switzerland have I eaten so well and with so much variety. Creative cuisine at its best. The service is also very pleasant and attentive. Large wine list with, in my opinion, understandable and in no way translated prices. Many thanks to the entire team! We will definitely come back and tell everyone about our great experience. It's just a shame that the dining room doesn't have much of an atmosphere. There It still has potential (but of course that's also a matter of taste). Definitely keep it up!!! Go there, enjoy and let yourself be pampered.

If I could give 6 stars...! The gazpacho soup is delicately seasoned. The Steffisburg brown trout on a vegetable patch was really tasty and the matching wines went with it, Riesling from the Moselle from the Van Volxem house. The service perfect and courteous.

Simply TOP all around!!! The service was brilliant, friendly, accommodating, remembered who was drinking what out of 17 people and always refilled before you noticed that the glass would soon be empty. And the food was simply amazing. I have never eaten so well, from starter to dessert.

The restaurant has an incredible view, but not only that. All the dishes are incredibly good. And for the quality of the dishes we serve you, the price is very affordable. I loved dining at this restaurant so much that I ended up having my wedding there. All the guests were so happy with the meal, they couldn't stop praising it. And the restaurant owners are super nice people who are accommodating and who only want the customers to be happy. Eat here and leave with a smile, I’m sure!

Great, stylishly furnished house. There were about 9 people in the Gourmet Stübli. Arrival 6.30 p.m. Ends only after 10 p.m. for a 5-course meal. The individual courses were perfectly prepared and coordinated with one another. Presentation perfect. Cooking points too. We were happy - except for the long time between courses.

Restaurant with a great view of the Aare Valley and mountains. We had to sit at the table for a while before we received a menu. The leaf salad was rich with a delicious sauce. For the main course we ordered zander & perch, which we really enjoyed. The open wines are in the higher price segment, which is completely fine for us, but we found it a bit annoying that the wine was then filled to the milliliter using a strange bottling device at the table itself. The bottle was not actually shown for viewing, and the wine could not be tasted, but was poured straight away. After all, he was very good. It's also a bit annoying that we had to pay almost 9.00 for the "tap water". With a consumption of over 200 for two people, that's almost a bit cheeky or simply inappropriate. It doesn't need any "refining", that's nonsense: the water is tip-top here in Switzerland. Staff attentive and friendly.

We had the only menu offered in the gourmet restaurant for dinner. The quality of the dishes and their presentation were very good. The service was appropriately professional. But the whole thing wasn't a special or special experience for us.

The restaurant is very nice and has a great view of the mountains and valley. The host couple are very friendly and the staff of course also make you feel very welcome. The food was a dream, we had a great menu with high quality for lunch! We would love to come back - the journey from Basel was worth it!

Am Silvesterabend geniessen wir ein 5-Sterne-Menü mit Poulet-Marbre an Avocado-Salsa, eine Thai-Currysuppe, Stroganoff mit Safran-Tagliarini und Gemüsebeilage, gefolgt vom Hartlisberger Trüffel-Brie und einem Schokolade-Passionsfrucht-Dessert zum Abschluss. Alles vorgekocht und mit detaillierter Anleitung mittags abgeholt und abends im kleinen Freundeskreis zubereitet, ein Genuss! Unbedingt dran bleiben und die weiteren Take-Away-Kreationen des Sternekochs Rolf Fuchs im Auge behalten, die Corona-Misere dauert ja leider wohl noch eine Weile. Fast getraue ich mir nicht zu bemerken, dass die Portionen genügend gross waren, nicht dass sie irgendwann klein werden wie leider in vielen Sterne-Restaurants, wo man nachher noch hungrig ist.Bravo an das ganze Team, trotz Corona ein gemütliches Essen.
