Magnificent view ! We ate on the terrace, the food was good. What a pleasure to eat with this view. Great waiter who was smiling and spoke to us in French!

The service was A1! We were a large group of over 200 people and we didn't miss anything. The aperitif was super tasty and the ambience was very nice.

I had a fantastic evening, thank you for the kindness of the staff, I will definitely return

The service was really bad and we had to wait 30 minutes before we were noticed even though there wasn't much going on! Even after ordering it wasn't any better 40 minutes for Schnipo and a Rösti was way too long! The only positive thing was they were friendly. A pity

The food is great and then you can sledge back down in a very gentle slope. The food was really good. And the service the greatest. They made the ambience great.

OK for a quick snack. The Älplermagaroni could have tolerated a little more love and a bit of flair. How about melted onions and it's not just pasta with a few potatoes and a cheese/cream sauce. Service was very friendly and the price/performance ratio was quite OK.

Caesar salad with chicken: Meat was very dry and bland, almost no parmesan sauce. Service: Instead of serving, fool around and chat, only served when asked. Very nice atmosphere.

Unfortunately, I have to express my dissatisfaction regarding the service in your restaurant. Ordering and serving times were unreasonably long, and communication between service and kitchen seemed inefficient, leading to delays. These aspects negatively affected my overall experience.

Today, at 3 p.m., we sat down on the terrace in bright sunshine. We wanted to enjoy coffee and dessert with our family. There were several people on the terrace waiting for service. After 10 minutes the waitress came and told us in broken German that it was now too cold and the terrace would be closed. Wow, no one can understand that since we're in the mountains and it's usually cold there. Hospitality definitely needs to be worked on here. A well-intentioned piece of advice: put a notice at the entrance that the terrace will be closed from 3 p.m. or get warmer work clothes for the staff, that would also be a solution.

It's always nice to enjoy the view from this restaurant. The staff was very friendly. Price-performance ratio is appropriate.

The view is exceptional. The service is very good and fast. The staff is friendly. The place is very spacious and there are lots of tables. Perfect for huge groups. Hiking road starts right in front of the restaurant. You can go hiking after the meal and burn what you ate :)

We were also lucky with the weather and a great company... The food was delicious and they had our favourite vermicelles! Staff friendly and with a lot of patience towards children.

Great view from the terrace and the cider tasted good too

The food was good. There were three of us there on Saturday October 7th. 2 days later all three of us were feeling very bad. We vomited and had extreme diarrhea. We suspect it was the salad dressing. That was what all three of us ate.

Cleaning took place on Saturday at 4 p.m. No more iced coffee/coupe possible. Stressed employees who all wanted to get off work!? Please be more committed, thank you!

Beautiful terrace with great views of the mountain peaks around. The service was nice and the food came quickly and was warm. If you now eat with fresh products, e.g. B. if fresh bread is prepared seasonally, then there would be one more star. The fifth star would be for a little more inventiveness with the food and drink menu. But it was okay for a quick meal.

Best herb salad ever! Tasty herbs from our own herb garden. Fast service, great view, pleasant service.

Despite few visitors, there was a very long wait for an ice cream and coffee because of the poor organization of the staff. Other visitors have already left annoyed. Prices high and - apart from the cake - old and inferior. No recommendation, there is definitely a better way.

For Fr. 23.–, ordered croissants and minced meat with applesauce. Croissants are okay, they are as they are, the chopped meat (?) is cheap convenience food and so is the applesauce. The food was a big disappointment, loveless, soulless and far too expensive. Even the coffee tastes like it comes from a machine, the best thing was the cheese, but it's probably not made by the restaurant itself, if it was, it got one star for it!

View is as amazing as you would expect it to be and service is helpful and accommodating but you have to pay for tap water.

This restaurant is uncomfortable and the staff is not friendly. Time has stood still on Schatzalp.

Beautiful sun terrace with a beautiful view of the valley. Friendly stopover for a walk on the Schatzalp. Located right next to the train. Here and there nostalgic elements of a glorious past without being disturbing. Even with old telephone booths, it doesn't get more James Bond.

We absolutely had to make a reservation so that the four of us could sit alone in the restaurant. Fondue was ok, but unfortunately the service wasn't particularly good for large groups.

The service was too slow and we had to wait a long time for our food. It was just soup

I was here for dinner, the salad for the starter was tasty, the French salad dressing was good, as well as the various salads. Then onto the main course, the cordon bleu was a bit dry and tough, but the gnocchi was excellent! The service employee was very friendly and accommodating. All in all, definitely worth a visit. PS: The train costs to go up, regardless of whether you have a GA or half-fare card, but if you visit the restaurant, the return journey is free.

The view is magnificent. The service lady seemed annoyed when I asked if I could please pay. After a while someone finally came to collect.

Nice terrace and bad unmotivated service. Consumed by three people, including an apple strudel without vanilla sauce and vanilla ice cream. Quality so far good, price 14.50 high. The bill was presented with sauce, ice cream. As a result, I complained and the waitress suddenly didn't understand anything and wanted my argument in English. Explained in English that with a tranche of natural apple strudel I am of the opinion that the price should be lower than with all the side dishes. I have to ask the boss and then suddenly answer arrogantly in German. Apple strudel was reduced to 12.00 Fr. So far OK. But the way you are treated as a guest and ripped off is not acceptable. And the snippy behavior of the service is completely unacceptable. Therefore unfortunately only 1 star and not worth a second visit.

A beautiful restaurant with very attentive and friendly service. We went there twice for dinner and loved it. The meal was excellent.

Had a very nice raclette here with +30 people. Well arranged by all the restaurant staff to serve a large group with good food and drinks.

Haven't eaten anything. Super nice service and nice view.

Food is great. Views are sensational. But... You get charged for Tap water. Water... From the tap... Comes at a price! The cheek! 10 CHF for a litre of water!! Absolute cheek. Charging for the sake of charging. Even the "free" kinder syrup cost 2.50. Only come for the views don't waste your money on the overpriced "everything"

The food meets expectations, the staff is friendly. The best part of our visit was the view.

A bottomless impudence, a coffee, a latte macchiato and a 16th piece of nut cake for 29.50. No matter whether WEF or not, it's just a rip-off.

I'm not sure whether the restaurant is suitable for the "normal" guest during the WEF... There is a menu adapted to the WEF with, in my opinion, completely exorbitant prices. You won't find a simple bratwurst, a rösti or a fitness plate on the menu during this time. A number of people around us were also upset about it and we left the restaurant after 1 coffee and 0.5l of Schatzalp water for CHF 12.50 without eating anything.

Hike for an hour +/- depending on fitness. You can also board the train from the main street. The most spectacular view

Amazing view. All I can say. The Cafe is good to. Delicious desserts that u can have your coffee. They soups are soooo good.

Extremely unfriendly!!! We wanted to eat outside in the bright sun, but the waiters didn't want to serve outside because they didn't have enough staff. I politely asked the waitress if we could eat outside and she just walked away during the conversation. I then went to see the boss so he could tell me why we weren't allowed to eat outside. We've been coming to this hotel and restaurant for almost 10 years now and the staff is becoming more and more arrogant and cheeky and when there are nice staff, they won't be here next season (why probably).

Unfortunately, poor service (cleaning the table when guests change is apparently not a given even during Covid, long waits for every interaction). The Kaiserschmarren takes last place in the Davos comparison. A pity.
