Romeo & Julia in Davos

Waiter saw us when we came in, but had to take a sip of beer behind the bar first. He then came to us, but only because the phone next to us rang. Finally the visibly drunk boss told us that we could eat something at the counter, the tables were occupied. We politely declined - a drinking and drunken “crew” at 6:30 p.m. definitely spoiled our appetite. A pity.

The 🍝 garlic, oil and chilli are sooooooo guuuuuuuuut!

Very tasty cheese fondue, the truffle is highly recommended.

Wir gingen gleich als sie öffneten und hatten das gesamte Restaurant für uns alleine; Wir hatten eine ruhige, romantische, traditionelle Fondue-Mahlzeit. Der Service war ausgezeichnet. Gute Atmosphäre.

Sehr hübsch eingerichtete Fonduestube mit sehr aufmerksamen Kellnern und ausgezeichnetem Käsefondue. Bisher das beste Restaurant, welches wir in Davos gesehen haben.

Absolutely the best! It’s a little charm restaurant in the beautiful Steigenberger hotel.

Nice ambience But for us it's more appearance than reality. The amuse gueule was a great idea. The fondue chinoise was okay in terms of meat. We liked the fries that were served with it. Deep fried until golden and crispy. The sauces, on the other hand, seemed unimaginative and weren't tasty. There were only 3, garlic, a slightly spicy version and an herb.

ambiente molto caldo, camerieri attenti, fondute buonissime . lo consiglio. Conto un pò salato ,ma dato il locale accettabile.

I was very much looking forward to having a memorable fondue dinner at the Tavern, my expectations were set to high and I tell you right up-front, I was not disappointed one bit.Timo runs the restaurant with passion and hard work. Our table was waiting for us when we came in and we received prompt service from the moment we sat down. Not being a wine expert I took Timo's suggestion and ordered the wine he recommended, it went perfect with the cheese fondue and the chinoise.I enjoyed the rustic atmosphere of the tavern, we felt like we were transported out of the Belvedere Hotel to a secluded little restaurant high up in the mountains :) Well done!My expectations were fully met and I can recommend the Fondue Tavern Romeo & Julia at the Grandhotel Belvedere in Davos. I give this place 5*

From the moment we walked in everything was amazing. The food the service and the staff were great. Timo was like “Duracell” super power full of positive pleasant energy to suggest the dishes. Very fast, knowledgeable and professional.Just make a reservation and leave it to the staff, you will be happy. We love only 5* places and Timo exceeded our expectations.

Not the best I’ve ever had but certainly not the worst. I’ll chalk it up to Davos being crowded. Good selection of fondues and obviously it obligatory to sample the local fare.

Fui allí en vacaciones familiares, comenzó bien, entonces el lugar se volvió un poco ocupado para la pequeña tripulación que lo maneja. La comida es buena. Para un lugar de clase alta, el servicio alrededor de la cocina principal suiza podría celebrarse más. Debido a la falta de personal, experimentamos muchas lagunas en los pasos de servicio necesarios de las principales comidas ofrecidas.

Very good if you like fondue. As a tourist, however, you are not particularly or at all introduced to how to eat properly and what to drink with it. There is still work to be done here. Otherwise very fine cheese and different variants of fondue available.

Loved the fondue and so much fun to share with others such a delicious meal. The salad was delicious. The salad dressing the best I have ever had! Very nice meal!

Very good food, learners not professionally accompanied during service, bar service very obvious clearing up at 10.15pm!! What a shame for the cozy atmosphere!

Очень типичный швейцарский ресторан. Предлагает по сути два типа фондю. Сырное и мясное. Цена для заведения расположенного в отеле 5 звёзд вроде разумная. А фондю достойный.

Fica situado no hotel Belvedere. O chef vem à mesa explicar os diferentes fondues e a sua confecção dando sugestões para a nossa escolha. Optamos por um fondue de queijo com cogumelos e que estava fantástico. Serviço simpático e eficiente.

Ich hatte Käsefondue mit Steinpilzen und es war wirklich ausgezeichnet, mein Mann war auch super zufrieden mit seinem Fondue Chinoise und als Nachtisch habs dann auch noch Schokoladenfondue, es war wirklich toll. Dazu haben wir batürlich auch gerne die freundliche Empfehlung für einen leckeren Schweizer Wein angenommen und wurden nicht enttäuscht! Was auch besonders schön war, war das gemütliche Ambiente, mit diesen Holzbalken, Kerzenlicht.. so richtig urig und gemütlich, da kann man auch mal n schönen Fondueabend mit Freunden oder Kollegen verbringen. Wirklich schön und lecker!

Zurückhaltend, freundliche Bedienung. Nicht aufdringlich, jedoch etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit, damit man sich den Wein nicht selber einschenken muss. Fondue mit Knoblauch und Trüffel war sehr gut und für 2 Personen ausreichend. Der Gruss aus der Küche war originell und sehr gut.

And again because we can't put less! The portions are small (get the big one if you don't want to turn your main dish into a starter), three strips of dried meat claim to transform an ordinary Carbonara into Grisonne pasta and, despite assurances to the contrary, they don't even know what the Postcard is (the Swiss Post payment card while you are in Switzerland!!!) and you find yourself having to pay in cash.

Wir hatten unsere beste Fondue je in den Alpen, in dieses schöne Restaurant mit super Ambiente. Gute Auswahl an verschiedenen Fondues, wir waren begeistert von der scharf Chili Fondue. Ausgezeichneter und freundlicher Service

De aankleding is in typisch Zwitserse stijl en heeft een menukaart met diverse kaas- en vleesfondue gerechten. De bediening is zeer vriendelijk het is een feest om hier met de kinderen een avond te eten.

Das Essen selbst war in Ordnung, aber die Portionen sehr so klein, so dass wir hatte Hunger. In der gleichen Zeit der Preis ist recht hoch. Auch der Service war nicht schnell in alle

Als wir ankamen und das Restaurant behaupteten einige Vorbehalte. So konnten wir nicht Sitz wo wir wollten. Nicht sehr zutreffend, da es für die ganze Nacht rausschleppen fast unverändert. Der Service war nicht sehr schön, aber effizient. Wir baten um ein Käse founde und ein Chinoise 1. Es war sehr lecker, aber viel zu teuer wenn man das alles in allem Diner Erfahrung.Auf jeden Fall, es gibt bessere Option in Davos. Ich denke, es ist nur passend, wenn man ein sehr ruhig und vorbehalten befolgt.

Du début à la fin un régal pour la bouche et les yeux. Une cuisson des aliments parfaite.Très grande qualité des produits Un dessert succulent.

Sehr gutes Essen und sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Ein Restaurant zum sich wohlfühlen und geniessen.

Essen, Atmossphäre und Service Spitze. Sehr gute frische lokale Produkte. Preise eher im gehobenen Bereich aber Preis/Leistung stimmt.

Wir waren als Familie an Heiligabend im Romeo & Julia und hatten zuerst Tatar und dann Fondue Chinoise. Beides sehr lecker und nur zu empfehlen! Auch der Service war schnell, aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Tatar wurde frisch am Tisch nach den eigenen Wünschen zubereitet. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant war sehr schön, alles war weihnachtlich geschmückt und dank viel Holz fühlt man sich wie in einem urigen, gemütlichen Chalet.

Kurz gesagt: herausragender Service, erstklassige Küche!!! Eine Speisekarte, die keine Wünsche offen lässt. Man fühlt sich nicht als Gast, sondern als Freund des Hauses.

Wir hatten ein Käse Fondue welches schmeckte sehr fad. Das Brot war hart und die Salat winzig. Eine 75cl stilles Wasser war 12 CHF. günstig Ernsthaft? Es gibt Restaurants, wie dies, dass Touristen weg aus der Schweiz und gegenüber anderen alpine man eine Verfolgungsjagd Dörfer in Österreich oder Italien.Der einzige positive Aspekt war die nette Dame, die uns serviert.

Wir kamen hier mit Freunden. Als Vorspeise hatten wir Salate und der Weißwein Suppe mit Capuns. Unsere Hauptgerichte waren Wild und Leber und Blut Würstchen. Das Essen war gut - das Dessert, Salzburger Nockerl war unglaublich. Der Service war nicht wirklich freundlich, aber sehr effizient.

Wir gingen für Fleisch Fondue und es war wirklich nicht so toll. Frozen dünne Wurst, geschmacklos. Sogar Dessert war nicht so gut. Sie haben Platz in der schön, großes Zimmer, jetzt benutzen sie nur die trostlosen kleinen Bereich im Obergeschoss. Im Allgemeinen bin ich nicht beeindruckt von diesem Hotel und Essen. Es ist auch noch viel zu teuer für das, was man bekommt. 100 ein Kopf ohne Wein. gehen Sie nur nicht.

schönes, warmes Lokal mit viel Holz. Speziell für verschiedene Fondues. Ob Anderes angeboten wird, weiss ich nicht.

Had dinner, the food was good , had the Weiner Schnitzel, but it took some time , especially the desert 20 min!!, but was very nice.

We had last night the dinner in this restaurant and i was expecting a wonderfull food as we are use to get it in a 5* hotel's restaurant. The dinner for 2 person was 200 CHF ...i would not complain usualy if the food will be wonderfull, but realy this place is too pricey comparing with other Gourmet restaurants where we have been eat. The service was excellent !!!

Es war Fine Dining at its best. Ich liebe das Essen und Wein. Toller Service. Würde gerne wiederkommen ...

Schöne Pizzeria mit Blick in die Küche. Gemütliches Ambiente . Pizzen für Davoser Verhältnisse preisgerecht. Mit einer Flasche normalem Wein teuer.
