Papill'on - bistro alpin in Riddes

I have mixed feelings, the place is very nice, the service is the same, the food is tasty. But... I ordered fish - Dorada (it was recommended that day), I have never seen such a tiny piece of fish in my life (it was half a fillet - it's a shame to serve something like that), it was served with 3 potatoes and 3 broccoli. I left hungry and no one asked us if everything was okay. The price is too high for what I got.

This restaurant is very good, but much too expensive for the quantity served... It still helps when you sleep nearby 👍 The view is however magnificent 🤩 I recommend it if you have the means because the food is still good 😋😉! And welcome to raclette fans, because you can order one whenever you want 😁!

We found this restaurant just looking up dining close to our chalet rental in La Tzoumaz. This was a delicious experience for all of us. The food was excellent, the server managed the entire restaurant himself, and gave great service. The ambiance was beautiful with natural wood accents and a toasty fire. We would recommend this as a wonderful location to visit while in town.

Just perfect ! We went to this restaurant twice during the week in late December as a family. The dishes are very good (I recommend the Savoyard fondues) with a really generous quantity that there was no room to taste the desserts. The service is very pleasant, smiling staff, attentive and above all introducing us to local alcohols. And the place is very warm and comfortable. Perfect for being with family or friends.

Very nice newly opened restaurant in La Tzoumaz. The greet food you’d get in a Verbier, but in a more relaxed and non-pretentious atmosphere. Service was personal, food was great and the Heida white wine was a perfect pairing for the food frenzy we had. Great addition to La Tzoumaz, and we shall book for dinner again.
