A great restaurant with very good food. A place that is also very suitable for vegetarians and vegans. The ambience is ok, the service is actually very good, but a bit tight with only one person. But we'll definitely come back!

Food only delivered after over 1.5 hours. Quality main course average. Spring rolls were soft.

It's a shame it wasn't as good as it used to be. The taste was actually great, but the vegetables were definitely raw and the whole dish was cold. Price performance far too expensive.

Unfortunately I have to revise my rating. The food is still great, but unfortunately we were treated to loud hip-hop, which disturbed the meal. And the new prices are no longer appropriate, for a lunch with a drink (without starter and dessert) CHF 41 is completely excessive in my opinion.

Closed despite reservation?!? “Unfortunately” I couldn’t eat here. We made a reservation the day before and then the restaurant was closed without any information. Very annoying if you travel 40 minutes. Never again

Food was not the best, it was OK, and it smelled of burned duck from time to time from the kitchen. BIG portions and the service was lovely. I may consider coming back for desserts.

The food is good, but the prices are slowly going crazy. CHF34 for fried rice with six small pieces of beef and also CHF34 for a green curry with some chicken. The 10% pick-up discount promised in writing was not given, even though I pointed this out again at the checkout. Not for a long time...

I was in the mood for Thai Mama's delicious food again. Then I saw the new prices and laughed out loud and cooked myself fried rice. 30.- for rice with vegetables and egg, I can't believe it. Do you adjust the prices to the rents in Horgen? I'll miss the good food, but I won't pay prices like that.

At Thai Mama you get authentic Thai food, you can enjoy a little piece of Thailand without having to travel. The small restaurant is very cozy and modern. The service is very warm My partner and I come very often and warmly recommend the restaurant

The food and service were great, but the price was a little higher than expected

The quality has been getting worse and worse for several months. The food is not prepared according to a system, i.e. depending on the day the food is sometimes better, sometimes worse. Sometimes the rice was forgotten, no rice was delivered but on the phone. We were just told to mention it the next time we ordered (for whatever, should we then eat a double portion of rice?) The last joke is that the very expensive starters are provided in a paper bag. During the last take away order, the employees even made inappropriate comments when picking it up, which you simply don't make to a customer. That is not how it works! Mind you, the prices are very high! And for these prices, the food and customer friendliness must be at a high level. We tried again and again and gave it another chance. That's it. It's a shame, I've always raved so much about the store, but today I can only advise against it.

We ate very well here. Food was served quickly and personably. The music in the restaurant was a bit loud, but was turned down a little at our request. We'd love to come back

Fine Thai food, absolutely authentic. I wonder if the service staff (8/29) watches sad TV shows before work or has a bad day? No smile for the guest, lack of friendliness and a somehow cold atmosphere. Doesn't go well with fine dishes at all.

Very nice couple running this joint. Unfortunately, the service staff we ended up with was surprisingly unfriendly and frustrated. The food was tasty, for me personally I would prefer less flavor enhancer and oil but still tasty.

A table was reserved and when we arrived there was a sign in the entrance that said “Closed today”. Of course we didn't get any information in advance. Then you go to the Thai restaurant “Zum Siam” two streets further. Excellent food, great service and above all open

Food was not delivered and the TWINT payment of €54 that had already been made was not refunded. Despite writing and calling several times. They kept the money without delivering.

There was a problem with the reimbursement of a canceled online order (1 menu). Thaimama easily gave me 2 menus and two drinks, all for free—great!

Sadly my experience wasnt very good. The rice was dry and the duck was gummy. Maybe i was unlucky but I wouldnt recommend.

Regardless, the service is always super quick and very friendly. Very tasty food and large portions. We were going to ask for another main dish, but the very nice lady told us that it might be too much. She was right. We need to go back to try other options on the menu. We went for lunch on a week day and there were tables available without booking. Came back for a dinner with friends and tasted the currys: the green curry was my favourite (I love lemongrass), but the yellow curry was also great.

Fast, authentic, fine (tasty) and friendly. The Thai Mama is now a small institution in Horgen, where you like to go and treat yourself to excellent food (or simply take it home with you). What I particularly like is that you feel welcome (unfortunately no longer a standard).

Today, Thursday at midday, with autumnal temperatures outside, I once again feel like having lunch that warms me from the inside. So we stopped at “Thai Mama”. Accompanied by Mimi, a long-time travel guide who knows the whole world and who once lived in Thailand herself. There was “Khao Phat” with chicken, “Laab” with minced beef, and a “papaya salad”. And it was all really good. Perfect like it used to be, when the good Thai mom was still personally in the kitchen of what was then “Pha Nui”. What the restaurant was called until a few years ago. Congratulations to the cook, her name is supposedly “Gaeng”. And a big compliment to the waitress too, his name is Dee. Great host. Thank you. PS: And the quoted Mimi also thought “Thai Mama” was great.

It was once the Pha Nui, now it's called Thai Mama, but it's still fine and authentic, the prices are fair and the service is very friendly.

If you want authentic Thai food, Thai Mama is the right place! It's been a long time since I've had a red Thai curry as good as this one. The atmosphere is also cozy and thanks to the open kitchen it is possible to watch the food being prepared. I also think the price-performance ratio is great and the boss is very friendly and happy to respond to individual requests. So what are you waiting for?! Off to Thai Mama :-)

Best Massaman on the Pfnüssel Coast

Their fried rice with fresh green pepper is amazing! (Khao Phat Ki Mao, nr. 39 on the menu.)

It was cold outside and a nice spicy soup would be the right meal. The soup exceeded my expectations because it was freshly prepared, without glutamate and with fresh ingredients. I can only rave. Addition: today on July 22nd. bought some soup. The shrimp tasted strange. but the after-effects were most unpleasant. This day and the next were, so to speak, worth nothing.

I ordered take-away with my cousin. When we arrived the food was already ready and we received a friendly welcome. We were able to enjoy a delicious meal. I will definitely eat at ThaiMama again.

The Thai Mix (Appetizer) had a great variation of many Thai speciality’s and was a fantastic way to start the meal. Delicious green thai curry, the waitress gave me a couple vegetables with the green curry in case it was too spicy, very generous of her! A place I’d highly recommend to others!
