Simply great. Food very good, service nice, atmosphere quiet and pleasant.

Vietnamese spring roll was top! Pho was delicious but slightly sweet for my taste. Rice cake inside coconut milk was also very fine. A good choice for casual lunch/dinner with friends.

Very practical dine-in experience, fast and deliciousssss ⭐️ We had poulet pho 🍲 and rind bun bo xao, both were 10/10. Enjoy!!!!

Small but fine restaurant. The Pho Bo is nice and spicy and filling. The pieces of beef are added to the soup raw and are cooked through the broth. This means the meat stays juicy and isn't tough like many other restaurants. The summer rolls are also good, a light starter.

The shrimps in the curry shrimp are fresh and juicy, the stir-fried beef and vegetables are very fragrant and the wok gas is strong, and the raw shrimp spring rolls are very delicious. The taste of this restaurant is very good and the CP value is high. Push ~

The food was tasty and the portions are satiable. The atmosphere is friendly and chill. From starters, to soup, to dessert, everything was good! Busy Sunday night slowed down the service, but the staff was very kind so it didnt matter.

Don’t let the look of the resto throw you off as it’s the most authentic Vietnamese you can find in Zurich - their bahn cuon is amazing and the pho soup is so fragrant Co chin chin is more for the vibe, pho mai is for the food itself

An extremely cozy restaurant with extremely friendly staff. Among the Vietnamese restaurants I tried in Switzerland, this is the place with the most delicious and satisfying food for my taste. I enjoy coming here almost every week.

Incredible pho!!! Probably the best I’ve ever had in my entire life. The service and workers are so kind. You can feel the hospitality immediately. A must try! My friends and I came here twice during our two day trip in Switzerland. The man the works here gave us complimentary tea and home grown tangerines 🥹 so sweet

The staff was absolutely lovely. We came back two nights in a row! Food was phenomenal. Can’t wait to come back! Gave us free tea.

Great authentic Vietnamese food!

Authentic Vietnamese Pho, located in Zurich city centre, ~10mins tram ride from the Zurich HB.

Please don't expect too much from the restaurant, but the food is authentic and extremely delicious. The prices are also extremely humane. As a Vietnamese person, I am extremely grateful that Pho Mai exists. Cam on for the fine food. It feels like home.

The food was good. We ordered pho bo beef and bun mam, we went in the evening without a reservation and there were free tables.

I often come here for lunch and the food at Pho Mai is simply amazing. Vietnamese food and also prepared by real Vietnamese people, just great. The staff are extremely hospitable and you feel at home here. In my opinion, the price here is very cheap and simply great. By far the restaurant “Pho Mai” has become my favorite restaurant not only because of the food but also the staff.

A great "take away" with tables. Eating there is worth it. Fresh food.

The food is quite authentic and good, which also explains why it can get quite full on a Friday evening for example. The staff is nice and food is served quite quickly. The atmosphere is very basic. Due to inflation, also they had to increase the price, but 22.50 for a soup with some beef and noodles which doesn't make you full is now just a bit too steep in my opinion.

Excellent authentic Vietnamese kitchen. Especially the "Pho" (beef noodle soup) is good. "Bun mam" is also very tasty and you cannot find it at other restaurants. Steamed rolls (bánh cuốn) is really steamed. Prices are moderate for Zürich standard. Crowded place at the weekend. The tables, the floor and the rest room is clean.

The male owner was very kind and I had bun chao and rice noodles. The bun chao was not what I expected, but it was edible, and the beef rice noodles were delicious! The meat was tender and delicious despite the hot weather.

Really, really good food, very friendly service. The portions could be a bit larger, but that's complaining on a high level 😉 The restaurant is very small and the ambience is rather unspectacular, as you would expect from a take-away shop. But everything is usually full, inside and outside, because a visit is definitely worth it!

The food is good but the experience today makes me never come back again. They were kinda unhappy and discussed about my order of 2 spring rolls. I was already quite full with a bowl of noodle but still wanted to have something else. I saw on the menu on the big board that 3 CHF for one spring roll so I ordered 2, which was enough for me. I also asked him to double-check how he sold it like piece by piece or what else. He said ok with 2 but later in the kitchen they kinda complained, mentioned and emphasized something like 4 spring rolls and 2 spring rolls. (I stayed in the table right next to the kitchen and I know Vietnamese ofc). Now I realize that in a different menu, they sell them by a plate of 4 (16CHF), not just 2 like I did. They should explain to me that they serve spring rolls like that and also once they already accept order, they should not talk about it behind customers' back. I hope it's just a misunderstanding between us, hopefully because we speak different dialects :) but still, I don't feel comfortable at all.

It was really nice. Found this place have the real taste of Vietnam soups. Highly recommend Pho und Bun Bo for anyone fan of soup without using lemon for soup would be the best 🤟🏻

Excellent and authentic Vietnamese restaurant ! It’s a small restaurant so do tolerate if the service is slow but the waiter is friendly! The pho is so good I even finished the soup .. the spring roll is also the best that I have tested!

The food was authentic, true Vietnamese food. The menu is complete with our favorites from appetizers to main course. It even opens on Sunday which is a plus.

Small but nice! So far I've had the duck and the Pho Bo, both of which were very tasty. I highly recommend the strawberry shake to drink! The owners are very nice and friendly :)

I think everyone who comes from Vietnam finds pho best at home. The first time I ate pho here, it was like my parents had cooked it for me. Damn delicious!! Small and nice, nice staff. Price/performance/taste TOP. (I didn't try all the dishes though) I can only recommend it.

Really authentic. Had the beef pho bowl. Freshest of green leafy herbs made it absolutely delicious. The prices are very reasonable. Will definitely be back soon!

Highly recommended for quick, good food for small and large appetites

It is difficult to expect the true taste of Southeast Asia in Europe. It's hard to give a good score as I know the actual taste of Vietnamese rice noodles. The store is clean and the atmosphere is good. It's also not good to have to wait for a long time because there is not enough people working. ***Spicy-Pho comes with Udon noodles than rice noodles, so you should eat it original Pho

This is my favourit place to enjoy pho bo in Zurich. Deffinitely the best value for money. Apart of pho bo they serve amazing spring rolls and you should also try fresh orange juice.

Feel like home! Small shop, neat and clean, everything is well prepared and well cooked. Bun Mam - Pho - Bun Bo Hue are our favorites. I always like to support local business by oversea Vietnamese; they try their best to make the dish more like home.

Very happy to discover this place and the vegan Pho! The soup was quite special: simple, but interesting ingredients. The summer rolls were okay, but not amazing as was the papaya salad. I think the papaya salad was missing some things or the papaya / green mango was not so fresh. For example an Chay has an amazing example of what it can be. Still, come here for the vegan Pho and simple atmosphere, vietnamese karaoke and friendly guy working there.

I was there at sunday lunch time. Ordered wonton noodle soup.the portion was small compare to other places and the taste was not good.i also take one soup with shrimps and pork take away for my friend and he also dont like it. they have beer only in bootles. No draft beer. Inside this place is not cozy. Do not recomendate.

A place where you can eat delicious Vietnamese food at a reasonable price. The impressive owner provided friendly service. However, there seems to be no staff, so service is slow during busy times. I plan to continue using this place because it is not a place you come to for the atmosphere, but a place to come for the taste.
