Pier 11 in Solothurn

Quite nice, nice and good but not really cheap either.

Yesterday we received full service and the kitchen blew us away. Despite the restaurant being full, we got a nice table without making a reservation. Staff are very nice, they have it under control very well. We'd love to come back. 10/10 👍🏻

During our walk along the river we fell under the spell of this restaurant. We asked if it was recommended to reserve a table for the evening and were told rather curtly that this was not necessary. When we arrived later to eat everything was full. However, we told them what we had been assured earlier and received only a shrug in response.

The restaurant is extremely hospitable and the service is very attentive and flexible. The birthday child was even spontaneously surprised with a treat and we were also able to enjoy an extra round of coffee. We would love to come back...

Dear Pier 11 team, thank you very much for the great fondue and the courteous service that served us in the chalet despite the rain. It was a great gastronomic experience that we will never forget!

Yesterday we had a wonderful evening in the fondue house. The food was extremely delicious! In addition, the service staff was also great. A young, tall man and a young, tall woman served us. Very friendly people with a lot of know-how. I can highly recommend it.

We spontaneously went out for dinner today. It was very busy and noisy, but we were treated very friendly and quickly. The children's food came very quickly and our food came as requested a few seconds later. Quality really very good. The kitchen does a good job, the service was also super quick and friendly. I can highly recommend this place. Top location, top cuisine, top service… we will definitely be back

Ambience great! However, pasta with sauce was sold to me as vegan... I have an allergy and then I realized it! I wasn't sure when I was eating it, but I was told it was vegan! Impudence! Never again! Nice atmosphere! Service arrogant.

The chalet experience was awesome. Rolf and Diana served us very friendly and the birthday surprises were great. Such a great atmosphere...

Totally cozy, perfect service ✨️ the menu offers a lot and you have a large selection. The food tastes delicious 👍 everything is very clean and with great attention to detail. Even the quiet place is really sweet ✨️

Be sure to go and experience it! Just as great in winter as in summer.

Ambiente is nice, the staff is attentive and also nice. The prices for this location and place are overpriced. The place is loud, some less tables would be good. The food is good and ok.

Incredibly beautiful restaurant on the banks of the Aare. Perfect. A place to stay! But the service is always a huge disappointment. Unfriendly. Patty. Overwhelmed. An impudence. It's pathetic that the management can't get this under control - well, maybe the management is the reason for the mood. A pity.

A beautiful decorated restaurant near the river. There is also a playground for the kids. The food was served really quick and it was so tasty also. As the restaurant is located at a beautiful place, you may need to reserve a table, especially in the summer time. Go and Enjoy 😉

We booked a weekend in Solothurn for my birthday. Reservations were only possible inside. Arrived early and were allowed to eat outside. Great service, accommodating. Just perfect. Thank you for the lovely evening with you. Of course, don't forget the food. Hey, you have to go here.

Service staff is very (too) attentive. The waiter was even up for a gag. The food was very good and presented beautifully.

Vegetarian salad plate: very tasty, fresh and recommended.

The restaurant is actually nice, but the service is disgraceful. I find it difficult to find a suitable vocabulary for these employees. For the second time a dinner reservation was forgotten. We were also accused by the staff of dialing the wrong number, not making a reservation and making a reservation at another restaurant. We were asked to show that we actually made the call to make the reservation. We were able to prove this without further ado. Simply a disgrace!!!

Everything is perfect....except that I didn't know that the "chiken and ships" dish is not served as a main course...a little disappointed, I felt like a child. Considering the price at least in a dish with a small salad it would have been much better......apart from that everything is so good and pretty with a beautiful view.

Today I took my gorgeous wife out to dinner. We had an excellent meal and the service (a tall, courteous young gentleman & a lovely tall young lady) was friendly & extremely hospitable! We'll be back soon & would love to!

Great restaurant, the food is very good, highly recommended right on the Aare.

Despite the nice weather, we were still able to get a table for three people. There were a lot of people but we were served very quickly. I had a coupe with banana. This coupe was very nice, especially because there were a lot of bananas in the coupe. The view is also incredibly beautiful of the beautiful Aare.

We wanted to have lunch, but there was only a small menu. So we told the waitress that we would think about what we wanted for a moment or if we didn't want anything at all. Shortly afterwards she came back with 2 colas (0.33L). We actually had to pay for these even though we didn't want them and paid €12 for the two cokes. It doesn't get any bolder than that.

Very, very good food, extremely friendly service and super fast. All of this in a beautiful place. I'm looking forward to the next visit.
