Restaurant located in a unique place in Zug: the old post office. Large rooms and very high ceilings. Excellent food. High prices, as almost everywhere in Zug. The location is very central, very well communicated and close to everything, because Zug, despite being the cantonal capital, is a very small city.

Pizzas were cold and rubbery and the carbonara was bad. The quality of the ingredients was great, but unfortunately the preparation was poor. The service was very friendly. When we asked whether the food was good, we gave feedback that it was cold, the feedback would be passed on to the kitchen, and nothing more came.

The Piu Piu restaurant in Zug is simply fantastic! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the food is delicious. I was particularly impressed by the excellent service from waiter Andrea. He is very attentive and friendly. I can only warmly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit!

Love this place. It’s great to have such a good Italian restaurant here in Zug. The pizzas are delicious, but the menu also has much more to offer. Good selection of wines, very nice atmosphere and friendly and professional staff. Prices are of course Zug prices but still good value and less expensive than other places nearby. Have been a few times and already looking forward to my next visit. Definitely recommend.

The lady at reception was very accommodating. The waitress at the table first asked for drinks and when we ordered minerals with and without, she simply ran away without asking. The cauliflower in the rocket salad turned out to be a few crumbs, similar to the egg on the nut salad elsewhere. The portion was very meager for the price of Fr. 15. The pizza, advertised on the menu as being crispy and baked at 430 degrees for 60 - 90 seconds, is likely to delight fans of Schlabberboden pizza. It's not mine and I actually only found PIU for the proud price of 26 francs. Despite the pistachio ice cream, which was top notch, and the excellent espresso, I won't become a regular here.

Very good. The food is very good. The eating tables are a little tight and you are a little cramped. The price adapts to the concept of the premises. The food in general is fine and very good.

Andrea provided us with impeccable service, we truly felt at home being served by him.

Cozy atmosphere, courteous service and excellent food. We all had different pizzas with starters. The restaurant was completely full, which is why there were sometimes short delays.

Nice restaurant in a converted post office. Good food (only the pizza is baked a little too soft - this would be common here). Delicious wines. Very friendly service! When the restaurant is full, the babble of voices is a bit too loud. My conclusion: Overall, the restaurant is absolutely worth a visit!

I had lunch in this beautiful restaurant with my Dutch and American friends... the service was excellent and the food superior... we had appetizers, carbonara first courses and ricotta and spinach sweets recommended by the very pleasant waiter Andrea who he also let us try the Sardinian red wine and the Campania white wine...excellent! We were all positively impressed by the venue, the food and the perfect service. Thank you! We will return often.

The pizzas taste great and you can also taste the quality of the individual ingredients. Service was always very nice and pleasant. The cozy atmosphere and the great building rounded off the visit.

The food sounds better on the menu than it actually was for the price. Osso buco with risotto takes some getting used to. Service was friendly and apologized several times for the waiting times. The restaurant was very busy and the staff was rather understaffed.

we called ahead of time twice to ensure a reservation. When we got there, we were passed over by a rude staff member at the door who stated we needed a reservation. Very disappointing. Glad Pino around the corner was able to give us a table and a nice meal.

The evening for six started promisingly with a fine glass of Franciacorta and delicious starters, especially the Insalata Caprese and the Polpo. Unfortunately, the sea bass was less than what I expected. Overall, we ate well and were well advised and served very carefully by Andrea. Grace!

A beautiful restaurant with real Italian food. Very nice service staff, nice location and very good food. Was thrilled from the start. Mr. Gisler served us and he was very attentive. Find it one of the best restaurants in Zug. We will definitely eat there again. Just beautiful.

I didn't find the staff particularly attentive. We ran out of drinks twice and were only provided with drinks again at our request. The pizza is very tasty, but it came to the table almost cold. I thought it was a shame that we divided the bill, CHF 90.-, by two so we thought we were paying CHF 45.- each. But the serving daughter had already guessed CHF 47.50, and that was also her answer. “I have already guessed CHF 47.50”. That's not possible in my opinion!

Food completely overpriced. Pizza dough was rubbery and tough. It's a shame the mozzarella in balls didn't spread.

We used to go all the way to Zurich just for a pizza at Piu before they opened the one in Zug; we love it! The food is great, the staff is very friendly and the place itself has really good vibes. Once they forgot our order and after more than 40 minutes brought something entirely different. They apologized and offered our pizzas for free, which was much appreciated. Definitively our go to place in Zug.

Just amazing. Rare to find such good Italian restaurants outside Italy. I come here often as my only place to eat in Zug. Wether it’s for a sophisticated meal or a quick pizza. The recent staff change has brought the restaurant to an even higher level. High praise to Andrea and his exquisite attention to clients.

The food was absolutely sensational. I ordered lamb and it was the best lamb I've eaten in a long time! Price-performance ratio is absolutely right! Super friendly service. My professional background is in the catering industry and I always have high standards, but I couldn't improve, correct or suggest any changes to this meal. 10/10 Always happy!

Everything is highly praised, but we are rather disappointed, the pizza is a bit too soggy for us, but that's probably intentional and therefore a delicacy, but not exactly ours. The room is a hall and therefore very loud, which is a bit of a shame. The service by an Italian, especially who doesn't speak German, and is of course constantly stressed in a full house and messes up a lot of things. All in all ok, but a bit expensive and overly praised.

A really great and reliable place for lunch or dinner in Zug. It’s not trying to be gastronomic , but the food is really great and prices are reasonable. Sure it’s a little loud but if you’re expecting a confidential restaurant, you should look for something else. This place has more of a brasserie feel. We love it.

What was most annoying was the very loud atmosphere, so that it was practically impossible to have a conversation. The restaurant at 7 p.m. was completely full and the tables were very crowded. It took forever to place the order and then our waiter forgot the wine. In the pulp salad with avocado and orange wedges, you had to look for the latter two ingredients with a magnifying glass. The green lettuce itself was wilted. The old post office actually offers a very venerable ambience, but the operators don't do the building justice. If you don't want to be treated carelessly, you should probably avoid this restaurant despite the pleasant interior.

Insufficient and expensive dishes, undercooked pizzas, very few toppings and a lot of crust. the wines at reasonable prices on the menu were sold out (2) were there any wines priced over 70.00 per bottle left? No service because it’s never the same person who brings you the dishes! Very disappointed, I won't go back!

The restaurant itself is beautiful and is in a great location in Zug. Unfortunately the service and the food are very disappointing. The portions are rather small, the price is definitely too high, and the dishes don't really correspond to what you imagine when you read the menu. When it comes to wine, coincidentally, only the more expensive wines are available and you are charged for tap water - that was the end of our consumption of several hundred francs. Sorry, but that was our last visit.

The service was very friendly and accommodating despite being full on Saturday evening. The truffle pizza is really delicious and worth the price. The risotto is also recommended. Only the round tables are too small for eating in my opinion. There's hardly any space and you're always worried that nothing will fall down. Since the restaurant was busy, it got quite loud and it was difficult to understand the person you were talking to.

We were 4 women - each of us was still hungry after the meal despite the main course and dessert...!!!!Service and food were great.

This was my second time at Ristorante Più. The service staff is friendly. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre: risotto was dry and prawns were too well done. For the price of CHF 39.00 I definitely expect more! I think the Più is overrated. But the atmosphere in the former post office is very nice. Unfortunately that's not enough for me to come back.

Had takeaway pizza. While we waited, we chatted with the friendly Pizzayolos. Extremely courteous service and the pizza is very good, we'll definitely be back!

Awesome place in an old postal building

We had a fabulous evening with our friendly and attentive waiter Zacharias Gisler. The food was great. We can highly recommend the Fritto Misto and the various salads. The white wine of the house fit perfectly with the seafood. We didn’t want to have wine in the beginning but we tried it anyway after Zacharias recommended it and were rapidly convinced. Thanks for a lovely evening. We will certainly be back.

It just so happens that today is Switzerland’s National Day. I didn't actually plan to try Italian food here, but I came across this place by chance. There is definitely a surprise! Especially the pizza here! For me, an Easterner. The atmosphere here is really attractive

Best Pizza I had in Switzerland

Pizzas were uncooked on top, mozzarella (whole pieces not melted) and ham completely raw and cold. Pizzaiolo shouts and jokes with employees every 5 minutes. Better to make pizza right. Service unfriendly, you are in their territory

If you like Neapolitan pizzas, Piu is definitely the right place! The food is very tasty and beautifully presented, the restaurant is beautiful, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. We waited a good 20 minutes for our drinks and 50 minutes for the pizzas. During the meal we ordered drinks again, which still hadn't been brought after 40 minutes. So we decided to order the bill. We weren't charged for the drinks, at least. Something can definitely be forgotten, so I would expect a small comment/apology. All in all, we are and remain a fan of the Piu, hence 4 stars.

Served fociacca dry and old. Inattentive to unfriendly service. Oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper not on the table. Pizza half raw. Menu is brought without emotion, without greeting. Instead of saying that you are closing or saying thank you for visiting, the lights are passively aggressively turned off. Never again!

Very much enjoyed our team dinner (10 people) at Piu. Staff was very nice, and prices were decent for Zug. Pizza was very good albeit not excellent, but still on the good side of the spectrum. Appetizers and wines were also very good. Thanks a lot to the staff!

I had the steak and that was cooked lovely, but the sauce was like a balsamic vinegar. Food was good but overrated. The first waiter was lovely but then it changed to a girl and I found her and the other lady (manageress I think) very rude. They offered us another drink, but then rushed us out at the end with a bad attitude. It would have been more acceptable and understood if they said, sorry we’re closing and can’t offer another drink, but instead they offer then stand and watch us while we finished. My friend and I felt very awkward.
