SO GOOD PIZZAS but the woman who works there is very strange and strange... Makes you wonder twice if you want to eat there.

Fantastic food & very nice owners! We got a desert and drinks on the house because it was a special occasion and we thought that was very lovely! Portions are big and drinks are strong - we loved it!

Had a very enjoyable evening with friends over some great food and drinks. The service was excellent with a touch of warmth to make one feel right at home. Highly recommend the place!

The first and the last time. The waitress really works in the wrong job. Unmotivated, listless, no interest and forgets half of it. When paying for two people she asked for completely too much and finally she emptied the glass with water. All the clothes also smell like food (deep fryer).Pizza is ok.

We went to the Melsa restaurant for the first time today and will definitely be back... The room was very comfortably furnished, the food was good and plentiful, but above all very friendly service. Price - performance is right.

Our absolute favorite pizzeria! But all the other dishes are great too! Even extra requests are never a problem here and the staff is super nice! With just over 20 covered terrace spaces, ideal in the current rainy times! My son was even offered a dessert for his birthday dinner! Thank you very much! We'd love to come back again and again!!

Pizza has been disappointing lately

The now only Italian offshoot of Melsa from Riehen may also be convincing. Today I went out to eat there again with friends for the first time in about 2 years. We found friendly, attentive staff again today. Our menus met our expectations and everyone enjoyed them. We'll still go out to eat in Riehen because we can walk there. Above all, we get a great kebab there.

One of the biggest surprises I have experienced. From the outside it's an inconspicuous restaurant that says Pizza Melsa. At first you think of a simple pizzeria, but that's far from it! Inside you will find a very pleasant atmosphere with wooden tables and beautifully designed walls. A mix of modern and vintage style. Very nice floor interior design and the small details make the restaurant something very special. The owner also serves himself and is extremely friendly. The hospitality matches the first impression when entering the location. The food is outstanding! The pizzas are great but the risotto and the meat selection are the absolute crowning glory for me personally. A culinary delight for every connoisseur. The price-performance ratio is right and the quality is excellent. We were so impressed by the overall package that we celebrated our wedding dinner there after the registry office. We love being there and can only recommend the restaurant to gourmets. The range of wines (Demeter) is highly recommended. Thank you again for the hospitality and the excellent cuisine!

Im ersten Moment denkt man an eine einfache Pizzeria aber weit gefehlt! Innen erwartet Sie ein sehr angenehmes Ambiente mit Holztischen und schön gestalteten Wände. Eine Mischung aus Modern und Vintage Style. Sehr schöner Boden Inneneinrichtung und die kleinen Details machen das Lokal zu etwas sehr speziellen. Der Inhaber bedient auch selber und ist äussert freundlich. Die Gastfreundschaft passt zum ersten Eindruck beim Betreten der Lokalität. Das Essen ist hervorragend! Die Pizzen sind super aber das Risotto und das Fleischangebot ist für mich persönlich die absolute Krönung. Ein Gaumenschmaus für jeden Geniesser. Die Preis-Leistung stimmt und die Qualität ist hervorragend. Wir waren vom Gesamtpaket so überzeugt, dass wir unser Hochzeitsessen nach dem Standesamt dort gefeiert haben. Wir sind gerne dort und können das Lokal Feinschmeckern nur ans Herz legen. Das Sortiment der Weine (Demeter) ist sehr empfehlenswert. Recommended by a friend, I thought it was a typical kebab shop... oh I was so wrong! Wonderful atmospheric facilities á la Taverna moderna. A very friendly team that literally reads your wishes from your lips. Yes, this wonderful restaurant is actually located on a main street, but it does credit to the fact that you don't hear anything from outside inside! The prices are fair and absolutely affordable for the quality of the food. The food is not over-seasoned so you have the opportunity to add more seasoning at any time. Conclusion: it is absolutely worth a visit!

Das chic eingerichtete Restaurant mit dem sehr, sehr freundlichen Pächter Ismail und seiner liebenswerten Frau Julia steht immer wieder auf unserer Agenda. Man findet da eine tolle Speisekarte - z.B. Kalbshaxen, ein Gedicht- und wirklich süffige Weine. Der junge Koch lässt sich auch auf spezielle Wünsche nach Voranmeldung ein. Dies ist auch nicht alltäglich.Absolut perfekt ist, dass der Chef persönlich den Service leitet und selbst fleissig mithilft. Damit "spürt" er seine Klientel - das ist sicher das Erfolgsgeheimnis.Wir freuen uns über noch manche gemütliche Abende bei diesen Gastgebern.

Gartenterasse mit einem Baum, der durch die Decke geht. Wir hatten 1x Risotto, Salat, 2 x Pizza Americana, 1 x Pizza Bufala, Allesamt sehr schön angerichtet und hat ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Very good price/performance ratio. Particular attention is paid to good wine (including Demeter organic wine), the location suggests a snack bar, but once you come in, you discover a nice restaurant that, in my opinion, is more elegantly furnished than most of the Italian restaurants in the city center. The black furniture, the solid wood decoration and the bar convey a modern yet cozy feel.

The food was fine. 1 point deducted for toilets (more is needed in terms of cleanliness or fixing the toilet seat, etc.) I would also like to be able to communicate in Switzerland in one of the national languages.
