Pizzakurrier Rapida in Glarus Süd

We used to enjoy going to Rapida, even if only for takeaway. Unfortunately, today we found ourselves standing in front of the closed door for the second time during opening hours. The first time someone appeared after 5 minutes, that can happen. This time we stood in front of the store for 20 minutes, it's just not possible, the attitude of the apparently new owner needs to improve significantly. We won't go there anymore.

Really great today. Fine pide menu and, as a great surprise, an extra dessert. Plus a quick delivery. What more could you want 👍

That's the last 11 francs for a box of cold fries and yesterday's tomatoes, divided according to taste.

Best and friendliest kebab shop far and wide. Always super friendly and cheerful, food always top quality at fair prices. I have always been very satisfied for years. Recommend ordering by phone as the website doesn't always seem to be working at the moment. Greeting Fabian

By far the worst kebab shop the canton of Glarus can have. Speed ​​(Rapide, Rapida) is lacking, you have to wait over half an hour to be able to eat. The worker has a lack of language skills and imitates the customers behind their backs, with emphasis and facial expressions.

It doesn't deserve a star, but I still wanted to submit my complaint here, namely the long waiting times to get the food

Ordered via homepage at 11:00 a.m. for 12:10 p.m., called at 12:20 p.m. You don't have anything in the system, but I have an email with confirmation. Looking for a solution, we should come pick up the pizza. Nothing prepared on site and no one knows about our order. Very impolite! And the gentleman on site is too stressed, we should wait. Why should I wait for someone to find the order! Very bad!

Wonderful kebab tastes great 👍🏻 By far the best kebab in Switzerland. Very good customer service and a good price-performance ratio. I can only recommend it 👌🏼🤌🏻

Very good kebab, I ordered 4 pieces for my family and they really tasted great. Bread and meat were warm, sauce had the perfect consistency and salad was fresh. Orders always arrive very quickly when you live in Glarus. Pizza tastes like in a pizzeria. You can tell that everything is homemade, from the bread to the sauces. Good quality meat. I will definitely come by again👍😃

Doner bread is fresh and very crispy, the meat is nice and juicy and soft, the vegetables are very crunchy and very fresh. The employees are very nice and friendly, the food is great and I would recommend the shop to everyone.

Very disappointed with the preparation. I ordered 2 Dürüm to take away. 1x a little spicy. 1x not spicy at all. When we got home, one was spicy and one was very spicy. When I ate it, the sauce dripped everywhere. To be fair, after my phone call, they would have picked up both of them from my house and brought two fresh ones with them. I politely declined. Since the two would probably have found their way into the container. (But I don't want to assume anything to anyone here.) .

Always a perfect meal here. Friendly and fast service. Addendum 06/21/23 Apparently there was another change of ownership. Unfortunately the quality has decreased and the staff barely understands German. I will avoid the place from now on.

Always eaten good kebabs and pide. Very customer focused and friendly. Errors are generously corrected. Every now and then there is an extra e.g. Drink or ice cream. Delivery usually takes 30 minutes, so it's completely within limits. The Pide that was delivered was great.

I ordered a kebab pizza for myself and my grandma and ordered a kebab and the pizza was perfect 10 out of 10 and the kebab was not so the kebab was carelessly wrapped and everything was full of sose and I ordered with little sose so only 3 stars

Guests - in a double sense?! In the past few years/months I have often visited the Rapida Kebap in Schwanden. Initially the “store” belonged to Firat. There was nothing to complain about. The quality was excellent and so were the delivery conditions. I often picked up a dürüm, falafel, etc. from his successor. The quality was also somewhat ok. Today I decided to order a kebab plate with fries in the restaurant. I had time to look around a little more closely. It was obvious that the "kebap man" was overwhelmed, didn't work in a structured manner and obviously didn't think much of hygiene. His shirt was dingy and stained. Although he rolled Dürüms, prepared fries, alternating this with collecting money and much more. a. m., I never saw him wash his hands! An employee steered around the restaurant in a somewhat confused manner; she brought sauces, place settings and menus to the tables; same with me. She didn't give me a greeting or any other kind word. Differently, however. when a fellow countryman sat down at the bar. Likewise when a lady with a headscarf and (probably) her granddaughter showed up. Suddenly there was eager communication. And I waited and waited and waited... I was amazed to see walk-in customers and the lady and granddaughter in question being served food. My humble self was allowed to continue to wait. After about half an hour (rapida?) I asked the counter about the whereabouts of my plate. Notably, a number of young men had now appeared and were gathering around the bar. Now it happened pretty quickly. About 3 minutes later a plate was served to me, smeared and with food carelessly thrown onto it. Annoyed, but still in a forgivable mood because I was hungry, I tried the fries. Unfortunately just lukewarm and rubbery, I immediately decided to leave the restaurant... (As I could see, the fries were leftovers from a previous delivery!). Dear hosts. I like to enjoy foreign dishes. I'm also looking forward to meeting "strangers"; this both in Switzerland and abroad. I find it unacceptable when I am "cut" by guest workers, when I don't feel welcome and when I have to wait in line at the service because people I know/compatriots are given priority. I'm curious to see how long it will take until another media article appears pointing out how unseemly and xenophobic the Swiss have behaved... At least I wasn't charged for the drink; a small consolation, considering that after 1:30 p.m. I couldn't find a restaurant that still served lunch!

Hello people, I've been able to visit kebab shops in almost every big city in Germany and the surrounding area, but I thought it was really nice that the kebab man at Rapide simply gave out a bowl of pepperoni or various sauces without even wanting it. They say customer is king, at Rapide you are really happy because the employees take care of you. 💪 Always happy.❤ The pasta (pide and pizza) and donut burgers are worth trying. Don't let yourself be annoyed. Tschuchen. 👍

2-3 times the pizza was still acceptable for a kebab pizza courier, but every now and then you can only spoon it because it is much too thin, poorly cut and really oily/greasy. The ham was still in 4 clumps. Still tastes good, waiting time is short and the driver is super friendly.

Very friendly staff, the kebabs and specialties always taste good. Are freshly prepared directly in front of the customer. The prices are in the Glarus average! I would only advise against the pizza! Too oily, too greasy for my taste.
