Authentic italian cuisine and experience!

It's definitely worth spending the 25 to 30 euros. Best pizza I've eaten in a long time! The only thing that irritated me was that the pizza I ordered with bacon had some tuna on it. It didn't bother me personally, but I still wanted to share it. I can't rate the ambience because I ordered take away.

Not just for pizza! The menu offers a large selection. The veal livers are excellently prepared. Very nice and always helpful staff. Our regular restaurant for years - whether with small children, teenagers or just the two of us.

I had the pleasure of eating at this wonderful restaurant twice with my family. Every time we were extremely satisfied with the food, the service and the ambience. The dishes were deliciously prepared and the service was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning soon.

Wow, yesterday I enjoyed the best tagliolini fatta in casa con ragù di cinghiale north of the Alps. And ahead of the Vitello tonnato, the roast veal was still delicately pink - meraviglioso. We'll be back, also because the pizzas looked so good.

We had lunch at il Forno with our small team. It was very, very fine. The location is very central and the staff was friendly. The cantinetta was also very beneficial for us, as we could then hold a team meeting there undisturbed with a delicious dessert.

The hospitality and the gastronomy are a dream. The food is a new experience for the palate every time 🥰

10/10 best pizza I've ever had - and I've had lots of pizza in many countries. If I could give it 6 stars, I would. I personally recommend trying a Fromaggi pizza and add salame piccante and rocket salad.

Very good food. It is very loud in the room, also because there are no curtains, tablecloths or pictures on the wall.

I ate at the trattoria three times at the end of December. The pizzas are really great and not only that, pasta and risotto are also highly recommended. Service is attentive, atmosphere pleasant. Price-performance ratio was right for me because it was really very nice. I would eat here again if I travel to Flims again.

We had dinner there this evening with 8 people. The food and service were perfect and we were all very satisfied. The pizzas were to die for and the chili sauce that came with them was perfect! We will be happy to come back!

We eat here during our holidays over Christmas. Although the restaurant was fully booked, the service staff remained very responsive. The Pizza and Spaghetti were excellent. Highly recommended.

Service unfortunately bad and rude! The restaurant was almost empty! There were 12 of us when the waiter said, "You're funny at 12, I'm alone today!" We then asked if we should go, and the waiter said no. Keep calm. You feel really welcome there! 😒The food, however, was good! Saved the afternoon at this restaurant! We wanted to leave straight after dinner. Unfortunately, the feeling of being unwanted accompanied us throughout our entire stay. A pity!

Very, very nice restaurant with Italian cuisine. The pizza was adorable, as was the lasagna. You can feel the quality and that's why we will come back. The staff was very friendly, as was the host Mr. Mettler.

The food was wonderful. The stone oven pizza was particularly characterized by an excellent pizza dough/base. Very attentive and friendly service.

Best Pasta Amatriciana of my life, never even eaten a pasta like this in Rome, one of the classic Roman pastas. And don't even get me started on the Flädli soup, clear homemade beef soup, as it should be. A taste experience. The pizza is simply a pleasure! Dough that rises for several days without yeast! Fluffy like perfect bread. Pizza...that makes hearts beat soar! Thank you for this top service too. See you next time

An “everything was great, thank you” wouldn’t do the restaurant justice. But it was like that. First you sit really well and comfortably and then you are looked after and looked after by first-class service. This is real, honest hospitality. A beautifully selected wine list that also includes fine open wines and a menu that makes choosing difficult. For this reason we ate here three times on vacation. All I can say is: fantastic. Whether it was fresh, fruity tomato soup, crisp salad, crispy and excellently topped pizza, tender meat, creamy pasta or perfectly cooked tuna - everything was simply excellent. A recommendation and kind regards from Germany, we would be happy to come back. Very gladly.

The boss was indecent with customers and didn't eat edible food

A very friendly and attentive service. The food is a real joy - top quality, wonderfully processed, pure enjoyment. When making the reservation (recommended) we mentioned that 2 large dogs would be coming with us. This was taken into consideration and we were assigned a table in a quiet niche. Treats and water were also included. Lovely again!

I would like to give it 6 stars. The team there is really great - the place is packed, but the service is still at a top level and caters to all of the guests' wishes. Food 1A with consistently high-quality ingredients. This is how food in a restaurant should be. Thank you for the great evening!

Definitely the best pizza in laax-flims-falera and beyond. I felt like I was in Italy eating this pizza! Excellent tomato, REAL mozzarella, generously stuffed, but the dough is incredible, you could eat two in a row! ABSURD! Congratulations for being able to offer a product of this quality! I will always come!

The home made pasta with truffles was amazing.

They seem like very big words, but I'll write them down anyway: So far I don't know of a better pizza in the Graubünden region than the one in "Il Forno". The dough is very airy and the wood oven does the rest for a real culinary delight. I would be happy to recommend the restaurant!

We arrived without reservations and the restaurant was full but the amazing house manager turned a table fast and had us seated in no time. We had pizzas but everything else being served looked delicious too. The pizzas were quite simply some of the best we’ve ever had and the homemade tiramisu was delicious. 1 shared starter, 1 beer, 1 water, 2 pizzas, 1 tiramisu and 2 espresso to finish for about 100 chf - absolutely reasonable for a lovely restaurant in Switzerland, we highly recommend!!

I was definitely there for the 4th time to eat pizza, in my opinion the best pizzas!

Very friendly and efficient service. Very good Neapolitan-style pizzas, delicious spaghetti cacio e pepe. Fair prices, but a shame to charge for the carafe of water when each guest has ordered an aperitif.

Very attentive service but never too intrusive. We, as a gastronomy family, felt we were in very good hands! Our pizzas 🍕 all tasted excellent, and the other guests' dishes also looked very high-quality and appealing! As a chef, my job means I always have to steal something with my eyes 👀! Very friendly service. Food always came very quickly. We recommend the bruschetta as a starter and the tiramisu as a dessert.

Not just a pizza place! Very nice Italian restaurant. Part of the Alpe hotel. Good variety to the menu. I had the Fegato di Vitello, as I usually do, if it's offered on the menu. Tender and well prepared with a not too salty sauce. Delicious. Wine choice is limited but solid. The tiramisu for dessert was creamy and light. For the gluten intolerant, they have gluten-free pasta choices: Penne and Spaghetti. It's a nice option if you are a large group.

Once a good pizzaria, now very inflexible and unfriendly. The pizzaiolo is too slow to top the pizza with more than two extra ingredients. Luckily there are enough alternatives in Flims. Unfortunately no longer recommended.

Incredibly friendly service! Our gluten-intolerant daughter was also taken care of from A to Z, including gluten-free bread. Chapeau for this customer-oriented and child-friendly service. Highly recommended. The food was brilliant, the service was very competent and the playroom for the kids was a treat at the end.

Nice place for good Italian food

Fine wood-fired pizza and delicious fresh mixed salad. Unfortunately only Calanda Pils non-alcoholic, the first one was a bit too warm and didn't taste good at all. After a quick tip, I was promptly given an ice cold one. That was OK!

GREAT RESTAURANT! During our vacation we stopped at il forno twice. Very friendly staff and super fast! Definitely not just an Italian restaurant, but really really GOOD. The Neapolitan pizza was outstanding and the homemade pasta was equally delightful. The wine recommendation from the boss himself also made us positive and the homemade tiramisu rounded off the evening perfectly. We will definitely come back when we are in Flims.

A week before we planned to have dinner with friends, we had a table reserved outside. On the said day, at the agreed time, we arrived at il Forno. A gentleman with a reservation book welcomed us and asked for the name of the reservation. He couldn't find the name right away, so he left us standing and instead of going according to our reservation, he led other guests to their table. When he came back he asked our name again. Unsuccessful and visibly annoyed, he leafed through his book, which resulted in him telling us that we didn't have a table. We tried to explain the situation again; he didn't have a table for us! It wasn't even the fact that our reservation obviously went down that led us to this recession. It's the tone of the instructor that seemed to have lost all respect and was completely overwhelmed. We tried to find another restaurant in front of the house, whereupon the usher suddenly said that he now had a table. We rejected his offer, noting his questionable appearance, and enjoyed a great meal at the Hotel Vorab with first-class service as the evening progressed! Never again il Forno! Addendum; The idea that the bad weather is to blame for a lost reservation is a cheap excuse. When the reservation was made (a week before), we didn't know that a thunderstorm was coming. Apart from the fact that some of the tables on the terrace were occupied and the unoccupied tables had a reservation sign. So obviously they're trying to talk their way out of this... fits in quite well with the picture we got from the relevant staff that evening!

Stopped here spontaneously and totally satisfied 👍 The starter salad was particularly excellent! The carbonara was also delicious with nice crispy bacon. You'll be happy to come back 😃

Perfect place for a fine and cozy dinner. As a guest you are greeted personally by the owner and you feel welcome. We didn't have a reservation. Nevertheless, a table was provided for us and we enjoyed the aperitif outside during this time. The whole team is attentive and friendly. The pizza tastes great and the homemade tiramisu is also wonderful. We would be happy to come back on our next stay in Flims.

Food wasn't bad but the serving staff was pretty unfriendly.

We had the best food, but we got told off because we were talking at an audible level in a very loud restaurant! Very disappointing as we were accompanying a friend whose family frequent the restaurant regularly.

First of all, I was wavering between 4 and 5 stars. Location is cozy, the tables are a bit cramped but still ok. I found everything to be clean and organized. You are escorted to the table and quickly asked about the aperitif or drinks. Everything is actually very repetitive and could almost happen too quickly for some guests. The tables are sold twice in the evening. You can't really discuss the food. Pizzas are delicious and the dough is said to be the best around. The point why I hesitated between 4 stars is that we had a bit of bad luck with the serving daughter. No smile and no charisma. Not unfriendly but not friendly either. The rest of the staff were friendly, so it was still 5 stars.

Best ravioli I’ve had in my life!

We had a lovely dinner, however we were surprised that a 1 liter of tap water was charged at 4 CHF and that is for a full dinner for four adults. This comes across so cheap.

Fine pizza, friendly service, unfortunately very loud and a stressed atmosphere. Went there at 6pm - there were lots of families. For couples who want to spend a quiet evening, it is certainly better after 8 p.m.

The visit to the restaurant was very disappointing for us. Families with children are placed in the farthest corner with zero ambience, even though there were other available spaces when we visited. We had the impression that the boss had no understanding of our criticism. Based on our experiences, we have to advise against a visit.
