We went to Pomodoro today to test it out after it reopened. The pizza was ok and so were the starters. In my opinion it has nothing to do with authentic Italian food. But unfortunately the service is not exactly attentive. We sat in front of our empty starter plates for a very long time and things weren't any better after the main course. I hope they become more attentive. I also think the prices are a bit too high for what you get.

We had dinner on dec 9, 2023 in the "new Pomodoro" restaurant as the old one was run by hotel Waldhaus which is closed now. The restaurant has been slightly refurbished but all the good parts of it are still here. We had salad and pizze which were both delicious and of impressive size. Definitely for those coming from the slopes. I liked the "white pizza" (without tomato sauce) which you don't get everywhere. The ambiance was nice, with quite a few families with children and the staff was very nice and inviting. Prices are absolutely OK for a ski resort in Switzerland. There are a few (paid) parking spots right in front of the restaurant and a few nearby. Yes, we can definitely recommend Pomodoro.

Some reservations about the parsley put on the gorgonzola gnocchi, but overall excellent pizzas, excellent tuna tartar and excellent bruschetta. Super Calabrian pizza!
