Pizzeria Ristorant Molino, La Praille in Lancy

I had a meat dish with vegetables and mashed potatoes. Little meat and nothing tasted. Price chf 34.- very expensive paid for a dish worthy of a school canteen. Ah! And I forget the best, a Coke will cost you CHF 6.-!!! Theft!

Fucking about the price of the aperitifs in particular.. we ask for a Campari and a white Martini.. The waiter offers us something else.. in the end at 15 CHF a glass.. morality 2 pizzas 2 aperitifs 2 glasses of red and 1 empresso ... 110 francs.... Received as in a gourmet restaurant... in any case the price is "g"astronomical.. Very good but... don't push it... The same ones were complaining about Covid and they lit us up afterwards... like a lot of leftovers...

Very good, the seats a little hard

It's not my style of pizza and I find it too expensive for what it is.

Efficient and welcoming service despite a large volume of customers, but it is not the employees' fault if I give a bad rating. In Geneva, charging 4 CHF for tap water (on the pretext that it is "filtered") when you have ordered other drinks is unacceptable. Obviously you can't have unfiltered water, even if it's perfectly drinkable and good (I drank some in the shopping center toilets and I'm still alive). I didn't remember why I never went to the different Molinos, now I remember. Furthermore, the menu is intended to be "customizable" but in the end you have less choice than elsewhere and the prices are more expensive once you add up the few additional ingredients (unless you order a simple margherita). Smaller portions than elsewhere as well, pasta or pizza, but it can please those with a small appetite I suppose - too bad the price doesn't match. And for a restaurant that wants to be "authentic", offering a carbonara with cream is a bit of a stain.

Where is my buffalo mozzarella.... a I'm stupid only on the ticket. Server who complains that there are only 3, Sorry I am a customer I don't have to hear this kind of comment and he guarantees me that the mozarella was added before cooking and supposedly it is written on the menu and it insisted. Before saying that you have Italianita, learn how to make carbonara and hire professional people who don't tell lies as they say in Naples #KTSM#

We went to eat this week at Molino, and we ordered 2 different glasses of red wine (and were poorly advised because the Barolo was lighter in taste and color than the house wine), and big surprise in the bill, the glass of Barolo is charged at 13 francs and house wine at 9.50 francs. It is not correct not to indicate the price of drinks, neither on the dish menus, nor on the table, nor even verbally and to charge such prices, we paid 31 francs for 3 dl of open wine, it is abusive. Apart from that the dishes are very good, dessert too. Another problem, the waiter dropped the lid of the parmesan box while clearing it and instead of putting it with the dirty plates, he put it back on the parmesan (which will be served to the next customers after falling), this does not It's not professional or hygienic. It would be worth correcting these aspects, because it discourages people from coming back even though the food is very good, the setting is good, the servers are smiling, it's a real shame.

Great food and service to tourists. The lemon risotto is a must try!

First experience at Molino but certainly the last, it's a shame. The dishes were delicious and the servers were very friendly. When we received the bill we were shocked. At no time did we have a drinks menu. 4frs for a 0.5l carafe of filtered water, 6frs for cold tea and 9.50 for house wine, it's Geneva but it's excessive!

Excellent food. The grilled beef entrecôte with king prawns and spinach was delicious.

The meal was good but charging 4chf for a small carafe of water is unacceptable when 6 people are eating and drinking drinks and they have already consumed a certain amount. The least you can do is advise when ordering. Soon access to the toilet will be charged for using toilet paper?

Normal quality of food and I warn you not to ask for water, they serve it in an uncovered jug and they charge you 4 francs for it from the tap like in all of Geneva where it is abundant and very good... Inconceivable that on a bill of 85 francs for two plates of tagliatelle and one beer they charge 4 francs for a jug of water which in many places they give you free due to the quantity and quality there is in that city. The waiter should notify you of the charge for tap water.

It was a first time. It was good but nothing more. Price-wise, I find the price/quality ratio to be a little too expensive.

Charging 4 CHF for a small 50 cl carafe of filtered water is simply scandalous. Especially since there is no cheaper alternative. Unprofessional waitress. Edit in response to the restaurant: Equipment intended to filter already drinkable water is absolutely not ecological and only increases the carbon footprint of the water used. This is just one way to increase your profits by maximizing your margins on water unlike traditional bottled water.

Hateful... became too expensive, having to pay for the carafe of water even though we had taken wine, beer and digestive. A shame mediocre food served after 45 minutes... for a restaurant in a shopping center, we were no more than 15 customers in the restaurant

Very good, the pizza, the dolce, 10 points, the attention 👏🏼👏🏼.. I live in Italy but I travel a lot, and I didn't have good experiences eating in Italian restaurants on my trips, this time I was surprised for good!

It's been 4 times that we come with a reservation and we are told "the kitchen is closed we only make pizza"

Very expensive. We push a bit to get the most expensive wines and dishes, even water is charged. Not possible to have tap water!

Decent pizza is similar to the Italian one, main courses with French side dishes. Unspeakable tiramisu, without even the taste of espresso..... Without the scent of coffee, very dry biscuits.

Carafe water was not indicated as chargeable. Surprise !!! On the bill… Only negative point. To be specified when ordering. The young waitress who was just starting out, however, apologized for this forgotten mention. Although filtered, it is important to report it.

Unreadable and incompressible card I ordered seafood spaghetti. I was expecting to have tomato sauce but I got seafood spaghetti in oil which is a first for me. The taste left something to be desired. It was bland, tasteless and that's an understatement. For a so-called Italian restaurant I was fine with it. What shocked me was that the waitress, whom I found charming and very smiling, was very upset when I told her that I was going to leave a review on Google.

It's a chain, the pizzas are good, the rest of the dishes too but I find that the quality-price ratio is too high even if the cuisine is quality.

I was extremely disappointed by this more than deplorable experience. It wasn't the first time I came, but the service is seriously starting to become really deplorable. 2 hours of waiting, for a more than disastrous pizza. Even a hungry child couldn't bear to eat an uncooked pizza.

Good quality food overshadowed by excessive prices, especially for drinks. Bottle of Valser purchased probably at CHF 0.80 is sold at CHF 6.50 and carafe of free water in all establishments is charged CHF 4.00. Damage!

What can I say, I was very impressed by the very nice environment and then for the moment I only ate the pizza which particularly impressed me. Excellent dough and top quality ingredients, and as a good Italian I found the buffalo mozzarella excellent. I haven't tried the first courses yet but I assume that if they are on the same level as the pizza I can't wait to try. What can we say about the choice of grappas, fabulous. Last but not least, the welcome and service. I was personally served by a young man, Giuseppe Tommaselli with a truly polite manner, and there were other willing young people like him. Even for this reason alone I would like to go back, and so in conclusion the advice I can leave is: TRY

Good pizza (made by an Italian pizza maker)

Very good food but downside because a carafe of tap water for 2 costs 4chf for 500ml and water is even cold, being in the middle of a heatwave and being two people we asked for more water which cost us 8chf in total, I find it quite expensive for tap water that I could have gone to the toilet to drink. Last night I went to eat pizza in this 'Italian' restaurant. What a disappointment... it was truly the worst pizza I've eaten in my life. The dough was poorly controlled: overcooked and without any taste... it's a rusk... The mozzarellines were very hard and rubbery. It really looked like it was gum. I'm sure if I would have thrown them in the air they would have bounced like a ball... And the tomato sauce was so salty. I drank liters of water all night. The pizza maker should be better trained. The waiters were friendly, I have no complaints. Luckily the coffee was good in the end.

The food was amazing we went to eat at this restaurant 3 times A nice man was our waiter and he was the best. He treats us with hospitality and he even brought out the dessert for us to see if we want it or not. His vibe is good and it makes us feel comfortable m. The reason I’m giving it 4 star is because there’s a coloured waitress who is quite rude and arrogant to us. She talked to us if we were kids. Last time I was sick and I asked for hot water and the waitress who just replied “eyyyyyy” and was very loud about it. At the end she gave us cold tap water and charge us 3.50 even though I asked for hot water. I would give this place a 5 star rating with the guy waiter but every time I see this coloured waitress serving me. I don’t have a good experience. This behaviour is very inappropriate for such restaurant as it’s not cheap and I’ve found so many nice coloured waitress but she was just rude (no racism)

Very small portions and expensive for what it is. It's only the pizzas that are interesting. A carafe of water for 3dl at an outrageous ChF 3.50.

Accompanied by my 6 year old daughter, we were able to enjoy a beautiful evening with extremely friendly service! My daughter likes to move in all directions, the pizza chef even offered to get her involved in making a mini pizza that we were able to take away. The pizzas for children are good, the pizza with the 3 small slices of ham made us laugh. My smoked salmon tagliatelle was good. The service is quite fast considering how busy it was. Surprisingly, I ordered 3dc of rosé, they brought me the bottle with the pitcher of 3dc. The bottle was left on the table for me in case I didn't have enough. It's rare enough to report it.

The prices are excessive, 15.- for 5 bruschetta or 3.- The piece of bread with little pieces of tomato on it. The children's menu is really limited, you have to choose between pasta or pizza.

3 pieces of tuna for a pizza that is supposed to be tuna, high price and very unpleasant staff

We made a reservation with a group of ten adults. We ordered pizza before the match and drank a lot. Two people just drank without ordering a pizza. When we were stung by a tarantula, the manager stormed over to our table and shouted at us that everyone had to consume. We reluctantly ordered two more pizzas because we didn't feel like arguing. At the next table, a father ordered a total of two pizzas for the four seats for himself and his two small children. But 8 pizzas for our table of ten were apparently not enough. Absolutely cheeky behavior and definitely our last visit to this restaurant!

Frankly disappointed... we have been coming for years and it has deteriorated. We won't come back again. The food is always good but charging 3.50.- for a carafe of water without warning the customer in addition to having dirty tables and presenting themselves with desserts in front of customers to encourage consumption. No bread offered at the table and they no longer validate the parking ticket. Damage.

Lunch on Saturday February 18. Very pleasant terrace with lots of sunshine, lots of space. It was Federico who took care of us, very pleasant and very good service. The pizzas were excellent, and we were even able to ask for a pizza that wasn't on the menu, no problem. Nice children's menu with pizza + ice cream. I recommend spending a good time on a beautiful terrace.
