Restaurant found by chance, comfortable and tidy location. The girl who served us, I think her name was Ginevra, was very kind and helpful. The food, I speak as an Italian, was of good quality. Advised!

The only positive thing about the molino is a very friendly and conscientious server, Ginevra is always friendly and very accommodating, but the food is far too expensive. I've been a loyal customer for years but recently I haven't enjoyed it anymore.

Very good pizza, very kind waiter, disappointing Dessert 12 fr for a paltry scoop of ice cream that you almost had to fish for and it couldn't be seen on the plate because it was so small. I asked myself if I asked for dessert which cost 9 fr what would I have received half a scoop? No, sorry, we don't have desserts

Had a great lunch there Sunday. So glad it was open on Sunday. Really felt like if we were in Italy. Waiters speak Italian, food tastes absolutely delicious as if we were eating in Italy and their coffee was great at well. We had a romantic Sunday lunch there the weekend after Valentine’s Day. Today we visited Molino. We appreciate the fine pizza there. First we were greeted in Italian and taken to the table, then we didn't see the waiter for 25 minutes. We weren't given anything to drink and there was no apology.

The last time I was there was about 3 years ago and everything was great back then. 5☆ Today I was extremely disappointed. The food itself was good, except that a small pizza came instead of a large one. But that's because the waiter (Spanish) has to have the feeling that he has everything under control without taking notes on a Saturday evening🤦‍♀️. The smallest request was immediately said no, where do you find that with 3 different bruschettas you can't leave out one variant and instead want 2 of the same ones. Or that you just want a mozzarella di bufala as a starter...the simplest suggestions were rejected within seconds without you even asking in the kitchen. And we're not even talking about overpriced pizzas. You pay a lot less in the Luce restaurant, and they have a much higher category than Molino!! Something went wrong with the dessert. Wrong delivery and took far too long! In other restaurants, if you make mistakes (in our case there were several) you offer something as an apology. But this cellar probably doesn't understand the business and how to deal with customers. Was arrogant and didn't even look in the eyes when handing over the receipt but was already talking to the next table. Today's was bottom drawer. If the nice older Italian man hadn't been there and cheered us up with his friendly and personable manner, I don't know what I would have said to the arrogant waiter!!!

I've read recessions. Was surprised because of the negative. Were there with children after the Christmas market. The food was good. Prices normal, city price. The waiters were courteous. The beer was forgotten, which can happen when the hut is full, the beer came after mentioning. All around peace.

Unfortunately, it's a complete rip-off: 13.- for a mixed salad as a starter and 43.- for a small portion of Scaloppine al Limone are quite steep, but that's what it says on the menu. There are no drink prices on the menu. That's how you order blindly. The disappointment was correspondingly great when paying the bill for some open red wine at 12.50 per DL…. We have certainly achieved our sales target, which we apparently value significantly more highly than satisfied, returning guests

The best pizza in Bern, the dough is very digestible and very fluffy. The ambience, the service staff and the selection exude a lot of “Italianità”. Highly recommended!

Angelo was very friendly and always asked if everything was okay. The waitress who served our table (tall, slim woman, she was in her late 20s or early 30s, with long black hair, had her hair braided that evening). This woman was a complete disaster! I have several friends in the service and when I reported the incident to them, they said that even for such behavior they would have been fired and I needed to report this disrespectful behavior immediately! I baked a cake that evening and took it with me. I shared that I would like to cut the cake behind the counter so my friend wouldn't see the surprise. When the waitress saw the cake and candles in my hand, she asked me if I put all the candles on it, I said "yes". When I briefly checked that my friend didn't see the cake, the waitress took my candles without asking me and aggressively stuck them onto my cake WITHOUT a candle holder, somehow as she wanted, thus destroying all of my ganache! If she had used the candle holders that were included in the packaging, my ganache would not have been destroyed. 1. disrespectful that she just took my candles without asking me if she should help me and 2. disrespectful that she didn't even ask how the candles should be placed! She just stabbed at it aggressively. Because she placed the candles inconveniently, my colleague and I had trouble lighting the candles. There was a bit of wax on my cake, which wasn't a problem for me or the others! You could cut the cake normally and the person who had some wax on the cake could scrape it off, done! The waitress took the cake from my hand and at first I thought she was cutting it for me. And do you know what she did? She took a LARGE knife and cut away the candle wax on the ganache and ruined my entire cake, it looked like a child had been playing with his hands on my ganache! Angelo had even seen this incident and told her to return the cake to me immediately. What a shame I didn't take a photo! This woman destroyed two hours of my work. There were 12 of us and everyone was shocked to see the waitress destroying my cake. It was clear to everyone that this woman had deliberately and maliciously destroyed my cake out of jealousy!

The food was never particularly good and now the service is declining...we'll be going to Eigerplatz in the future.

Had lunch here during the week. There were hardly any people there but it took 90 minutes to order, eat and pay for two pizzas, with the meal taking the shortest time. It's a shame that the poor service ruins the really good food.

Service staff unfriendly and arrogant. The starter was initially forgotten but then served after the main course. Bruschetta were really sour and totally over-seasoned (a failed attempt to save the bitter food). Spaghetti portion was far too small and was served cold. After we reported our complaints, the waitress tried the food and agreed with us. (Bruschetta) Without asking, she brought us a cream dessert (unfavorable with lactose intolerance) and coffee even though we don't like coffee. After asking whether we actually had to pay for everything, she said that the dessert and coffee were sufficient as an "excuse", even though everything was left as served. Not recommendable!!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE for delivery!!!! We ordered pizza delivery on Saturday night. Total order was for 6 pizzas, they only brought 5. In addition to this, the pizzas were very cold despite the restaurant being only 700m away from our friend’s place. We called the restaurant and they were very unapologetic about it and asked us to come the next day to pick up the pizza they forgot to deliver. Horrible service, low level quality of food, rude customer service on the phone. We talked to them both in german and italian over the phone and there was no chance they didn’t understand what the issue was.

Today we (3 women, normal stature) each ordered tagliatelle with a tomato sauce with vegetables and burrata. The portion we got was way too small. We couldn't imagine how such a small portion would be enough for a man, for example. The pasta was delicious but unfortunately we will never go there again. At 24.00 you would expect to be somewhat full, but that was far from the case. We also pointed this out to the waitress. But she said that was a normal portion size. We were also told that it is tagliatelle and with spaghetti (since it is thinner) it would look like more. However, this “argument” makes no sense at all, since the amount of pasta that you ultimately eat, whether tagliatelle or spaghetti, is the same (1 kg of stones = 1 kg of feathers).

A 3dl iced tea for CHF 6.- borders on being cheeky!

Original Italian cuisine, very fine pizza and pasta. Large outside terrace in summer. The staff is nice as long as you're not stressed. When leaving a tip (10% as usual) no thanks! Still recommendable restaurant.

The service was another disappointment. The waiters were inattentive and forgot our orders several times. The waiting times were unreasonably long and when the food was finally served it was already cold. All in all, I unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant. The overall experience was disappointing, from the reservation to the atmosphere to the food and service. There are definitely better options in the area that offer a more enjoyable and higher quality dining experience.

Everything we ordered was good. But nothing was "special". The shrimp risotto had almost no shrimp. You can see it in the photo. The waitress was kind. But she was visibly overwhelmed. More attendants would make the environment more pleasant and improve the customer experience. It's a good restaurant for a weekend with friends. But not for a special celebration. It is very well located in the center of Bern and has the advantage of being next to the parking lot.

Ordered two dishes Pizza and Pasta, Pizza was as expected nothing exceptional however the pasta was somewhat bland. Do recommend for a quick bite and street dining. Washrooms were clean and service was good. I have been to their Geneva restaurant couple of times that is too great!

The waiter with the scorpion tattoo on his neck served us in a very bad manner. From the beginning we asked if we could eat upstairs on the terrace and a very friendly waiter at the entrance allowed us to pass. The food was already ready but he had 10 minutes to serve me the food even though there were only 2 customers in the restaurant? They just talk together, that's not work!! I haven't eaten such a fine pizza like the "Norma" pizza for a very long time!! It was simply TOP, both in terms of the dough and the taste of what was on it, eggplant, zucchini, buffalo mozzarella, fine parmesan, persimmon tomatoes and mint, exceptional and extremely tasty!!! The tiramisu for dessert was also excellent. The service from Angelo and Bianca was very pleasant and friendly, they served us in a very friendly and humorous way. Grazie mille!! Well, we love great fresh pizza from a proper stone oven and this one could not have been better. Put your pown pizza together (as we did) and enjoy perfection. Do try the home made chili oil! Very friendly staff, great drinks and excellent location. Just an excellent long late lunch on a cloudy Sunday ... Other patrons were a good crowd.
