I ordered via Uber and added extra chilli separately. It was missing, as were the lenses. Food bland and really not worth the money And the daal was missing the second time too. I called and said there was an error on the Uber site. Never again, not recommended

I recently tried the biryani, mango lassi, and naan at this restaurant. The food was delicious, and the location, conveniently close to the city center, made it a great choice. The fact that they offer halal food is a definite plus. I highly recommend it.

Good restaurant, a few steps from the station and with a wide range of options. The dishes are really good, well served and the premises, although small, are well appointed and pleasantly decorated. The route to the toilet was a bit confusing and the waiter was a bit distracted and rushed but very friendly.

Absolutely the best Indian food in Bern! I come here regularly--the staff are lovely, and I always have a great evening.

The food was good, but the service was super slow. There was only one person handling the entire restaurant alone on a weekend. Also, they did not accept cards, so hustling to the ATM was a task at late night in cold they could have informed us in prior to ordering.

Ordered food from Justeat. A little expensive but the food is great. Price/performance is right. Food was still warm. If there are several different dishes, a label on the lid would be great (number or first letter). The delivery was also good, unfortunately he couldn't give the amount stated in the order 🙄 His tip was a little higher for that 😁. But it's ok because I didn't have to cook🫢.

When I order food, I practically only order from India4u. They offer delicious food for a good price. There are varied and perfectly seasoned dishes. The food is delivered in a short time (25-30min). The restaurant is very easy to reach if you have any questions or problems and is flexible with spontaneous adjustments (delivery, for example). Highly recommended!!

I attended a team dinner at this cozy Indian restaurant, surprisingly accommodating around 40 guests within its compact space. While the interior carried an Indian ambiance, it felt a bit too loud and overly colorful. They set up a buffet dinner for us, offering a variety of dishes. Here are my personal ratings: 1. Dal fry: 3/5 2. Paneer Butter Masala: 3/5 3. Chicken Butter Masala: 3/5 4. Palak Paneer: 3/5 5. Fish curry: 2.5/5 6. Naan: 3/5 Despite hearing good things beforehand, the taste of the food disappointed me. Service was tad slow as it was managed by a single person. The initial quantity of the food items were less which got over soon and refilling took time. Overall, it was an average experience in terms of both taste and service.

Always good if you pick it up directly on site. The food is always warm and freshly prepared. Simply great!

Visited this restaurant, ordered chicken tikka masala and fish pakoda. The food was delicious like home like taste and they are providing best halal food in Bern. Finally tea and mango lassi was also great which refreshes us. The restaurant owner is really friendly too. I will must try again when next time I visit.

Super delicious Indian restaurant in the middle of Bern. The restaurant is very comfortably furnished. There are a lot of tables, so it won't be a problem to get a seat there. The food tastes great and the portions are so big that no one goes hungry! Vegetarian dishes: good & large selection of vegetarian dishes! There is definitely something for everyone!

Visited this place on the recommendation of my close family. I must say it was worth a recommendation. Food was amazing and staff is very friendly and helpful and greeted us with a very pleasant manner. I would happily recommend to anyone who is looking for an authentic Asian food. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. I haven't eaten such delicious Indian food in a long time. Totally delicious food, great service. Chicken biryani, mango lassi and chicken tikka milai are highly recommended. Really highly recommended if you are in Bern. You won't regret it, I promise.

We had to wait 1.5 hours for our food even though they had informed us over the phone an hour beforehand that they were on their way (it takes about 20 minutes by car from Bern to Münchenbuchsee). After all the phone calls our food arrived. Waiting time from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. We ordered at 11 a.m. when the restaurant was just opening. If you order, plan your time and patience. We don't order anymore.

DON'T GO! It's a very unsafe environment ..Read details below... It was a horrible experience... I have never in my 33 years had such a bad food and experience... The person (seems like owner who was also serving us) was outright disrespectful... passed racist and sexist comments throughout... he said very odd things to us (did you go to washroom, what did you do there? do you need fork and knife? why didn't you accompany your wife to washroom)... charged us for bottled water but gave tap water... It was a very very humilating experience for us... We found it very unsafe (especially for my wife)... left food half-way and left... On top of that, the food was horrible! It was stale and outright made from ingredients gone bad (it was very obvious, no knowledge of cooking is required to know that)... It is quite strange that in such a beautiful city, such a resturant and person is around! Avoid, it's unsafe!

The food was bad , Unpalatable. Chicken in Chicken Biryani was tough. Though he very kindly changed it . I felt this kind of rubbish food gives a bad name to The Amazing Indian cuisine.

After waiting 1.5 hours in the restaurant, the owner (= only waiter) came to ask what we had ordered because we were still sitting there without having received the food. Then we got up and left. It's a Saturday evening, all the guests have waited an extremely long time for their food, a lot of take away. Too few staff, so they are overwhelmed and can't manage everything. Never again!

We served the leftover chicken and rice! The chicken rice was not good at all 🤮 it’s true we arrived an hour before closing but we asked you if it was okay with you! So you said yes yes so we ask for the cheez nan there is no more the only drink that remains the mango lace plus the remains of the rice and the chicken that he served us and at the end he tells us no we are not taking the bank card only cash!! Well I insist that I use the bank card and I don't have cash! after a while the gentleman told me ok ok it's good. So we paid €76 for leftover rice and chicken!

Order arrived after 35 minutes, food was warm and complete, was very, very good. There was even a portion of rice and an additional small house specialty, we were very happy and will definitely order again😊Merci

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Manager and his team for a fantastic time at India4u, the food and service was 10/10. We arrived and offered pre dinner drinks. During the whole duration of our meal , we were looked after and all of needs were anticipated without asking for anything, absolutely seamless! You’d wouldn’t find it difficult to choose from the menu has the choice of starters mains and desserts are all our favourites.
