Pony in Frutigen

My friends spontaneously reserved a place here for the evening. The restaurant was well filled. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was very tasty and came so quickly, bravo. Really very positively surprised and I will certainly recommend the pony. Thank you for the hospitality.

You eat 100% quality, they listen carefully and do what you want, very fast service! Definitely recommended, especially the staff, very friendly. Children also feel comfortable with toys that they can play with. This is what I really call top service. We would like to thank Nora for the good experience.

Cons : -Tap water costs money (which is stupid considering you can fill your bottle in bathroom). -Charging PHONES costs 2€ per phone!!! (weren’t notified about this). -People/staff staring at you for not being a local (you’d think that wouldn’t be the case in a tourist town but it’s not). -Large pizza isn’t actually large, it’s medium for EU standard, and if you come from the US don’t even think about it. Pros : Tasty 4 cheeses pizza (19.5€), and a nice local lady with a small 1 year old dog.

The pizza, salads, and service were all great. The vegetarian pizza, in particular, was impressive with fresh zucchini, mushrooms, red peppers, artichokes, eggplant, and broccoli. What I appreciated most though is the fact that one of the people from the restaurant drove to find us afterwards because I left my favorite sweatshirt on the back of the chair. That definitely made me smile. Thank you all so much!!!

Some of the serving staff were friendly. Unfortunately, their conversation was very loud, which was disturbing on the quiet terrace. In between there was suddenly whispering (presumably about guests). No one said goodbye or thank you for the visit. The food tasted good. Unfortunately the steak was only lukewarm, so the herb butter didn't melt over it. Had to give it back to make it hot. Unfortunately no apology was heard. A pity! So I decided to enjoy dessert and coffee at a later stop.

Enjoyed a great dinner here on our return journey from Valais. The pizza has a thin and therefore very crispy dough. We have rarely eaten such good pizza. The Trofie were also very tasty. The young lady's service was also very friendly. We can only recommend the restaurant. We will definitely stop by again on our next trip back.

We were passing through yesterday evening on our way back from a hike in the Bernese Oberland. Delicious and generous dishes (even a little too much)...pretty garden terrace with a magnificent view...excellent value for money. I highly recommend. Only happiness.
