Very warm service, delicious food, good value for money

Very fine food, hospitable service, price-performance ratio adapted to today's times. Rather noisy as it was very busy - it was a Tuesday. It was fun to eat there, we'll be back :).

One of my absolute favorite leftovers. There is delicious Greek food (really like in Greece) with very friendly service. The aperitif variation, pastas, well actually everything, is really recommended! It was a pleasure. My family also has a resti that people like to frequent ☺️

Beautiful little restaurant, very bright and Mediterranean, the decor is modern with a touch of Greek vintage. And then you will be there too. Greeted with Greek temperament and hospitality. The food is simply indescribably good, fantastic. I believe that grandma's recipes are still being cooked here, but Athi, then gave the whole thing its own unique touch. simply great and a palate explosion!! Keep it up...for me it's the best and only true Greek restaurant. Always happy to come back...

Gyros take away - no plate, just a small box half full with about 30 grams of gyros with 3 pieces of pita bread underneath to make it look like more, a few fries next to it. Tastes good, but portion is very small and costs 22 CHF not 18 CHF as stated online. Female waitress rude - at 22 CHF we thought the ouzo shot was included, instead it was charged at 10 CHF!

Very tasty, authentic food. And also very good price/performance ratio. It's a bit higher standard, but it's definitely worth it. It was our first time there and we will probably eat here more often now.

I can't say enough about how good our visit to Poseidon Restaurant was! From the fair prices to the impeccable cleanliness and the incredibly delicious food, every aspect was a real highlight. The friendly staff gave us a warm welcome and ensured a pleasant evening. This restaurant has a well-deserved place at the top, and I can't wait to return. If you are looking for a great dining experience, you should definitely stop by here.

Have visited several times, the food and service are always excellent, I would even describe the service as “familiar”. The restaurant is rather small. The prices are generally medium to high, but appropriate for the handmade dishes. The staff is always friendly. I would recommend reservation, otherwise there might be no space. Thanks and keep it up.

We deliberately stayed indoors in the restaurant when the weather was beautiful, almost alone and had a cozy evening indoors. Almost “personal” support from the staff present 😀👌🏻- even though the garden restaurant was well attended. The service lady was very friendly, helpful (which was important to us for our first time eating Greek food) and discreetly attentive, speaking English. The boss personally also took a lot of time to provide hospitality and advice. The food at Poseidon was very tasty and beautifully presented. We were given friendly advice regarding our selection and the service was very attentive despite the restaurant being full. The innkeeper took the time to greet us personally and exchange a few words with us, which made us feel really welcome. I have been visiting the restaurant again and again for several months. Every now and then I eat on site, but they also have a great offer for take away! The hosts are always very friendly and funny. Super fine food and nice ambience!

If you are looking for a mediocre restaurant in Uster, you can try the restaurant. The starters are overpriced and the main course is just average. However, the location is good as you can walk there from the train station. The female waitress is not very friendly, but her male colleagues are polite and accommodating. I missed Greek hospitality.

Yesterday we were at Poseidon for the first time - but we were greeted so warmly, as if we were regular guests...so pure Greek hospitality...fine food, good wine, masticha, a very nice, attentive waiter, a passionate host - what more could you want...we'd love to come back...

My other half and I had a really wonderful evening at Poseidon Restaurant. In the stylish, modern and warm ambience of the restaurant, the kitchen conjured up a beautiful and delicious creation for us. Each course was designed like a small work of art and was served at the table by the extremely friendly, passionate and competent service. Each little work of art enchanted our (rather spoiled) taste buds and took them into a culinary taste experience, delicate and refined. Pure culinary delights! We will definitely eat at the Essenz restaurant more often.

Really good restaurant I ate better than in Greece top service...shame I paid 9.50 for a carafe of water 💧 of dubious origin...this is constructive advice at a restaurant table you only have to pay for a glass bottle come on 9 chf and up and not a carafe.even if with waltz water in pet as the staff says....have a good evening thanks for the good service...I hope you will take the advice...constructive

I absolutely can't understand the good reviews, the gyro plate was by far the most expensive and worst I've eaten at a Greek restaurant. The meat was not seasoned and tasted dry and cold. The fries were fried for far too long and some of them were older. The tzatziki tasted like the Greek one bought from the wholesaler. The pita bread was dry and bland. Overall, the food was only lukewarm, but the plate was very hot. One star is deserved for the table decorations and the nice service.

The food is absolutely authentic and very fine. My tip is the meze - so you can try everything. I was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant/ambience, not holiday kitsch or anything like that, but pleasantly bright and chic. The service was totally warm and attentive. We'd love to come back.

Even at the new location, the Poseidon Greece is pure and with fine food, served by two nice and cool ladies, l worth a visit again and again at any time. If you can have a longer chat with the boss, it's a great Saturday evening. What more could you want then, yes ok, a second ouzo......and a second bottle of wine.

Today I had a great, delicious and above all very friendly experience on my first visit to Poseidon! The food was incredibly good and the service was very friendly. It's definitely not the last time I've been here and I'll definitely come back often and recommend the restaurant to others. Full five stars - everything is just right here!

Very bad surprise: Although the restaurant is listed on lunch-check.ch, the Lunch-Check card is not accepted. At these prices, this tears an unexpected hole in the family budget and leads to a star deduction. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the food, the meat was perfectly cooked, the vegetables were crunchy, and the meat portions were generous. The starter variations for two people are easily enough for four, and then the price is right too. The lack of Greek kitsch is a positive thing; there are no fishing nets on the ceiling and no Sirtaki loop. What is unfortunately completely missing is sound insulation. The noise level is unbelievable, a normal conversation at the table is not possible. Here you should perhaps entrust a specialist with the design of the walls and ceiling.

The Poseidon is a feel-good place! The uncomplicated Greek hospitality convinces you from the first minute. The menu impresses with its good but not overwhelmingly large selection. One of the top restaurants in Uster in my opinion. Despite difficult conditions due to take-away, they deliver top quality and very friendly service.

Personal ist sehr cool drauf, quatschen mit einem und geben dem Kunden ein Gefühl von Wohlhaben.Und das ist Essen... Ist ja mal sensationell. Das Gyros war perfekt durchgebraten, die Pommes waren perfekt gewürzt... Hat super geschmeckt.Ich lehne mich nicht zu weit aus dem Fenster, wenn ich sage, Poseidon ist der beste Grieche in Uster (vielleicht auch Zürich) ;)

Wir haben aufgrund Corona Massnahmen als Home Lieferung bestellt. Pünktlich kam der Chef persönlich, sehr sympathisch! Das Essen war absolut hervorragend! Gute Portionengrösse und top Qualität. Gerne wieder und auch vor Ort!!

Definitiv eines meiner Lieblingslokale in der Schweiz. Griechische Gastfreundlichkeit, innovative moderne Küche gepaart mit Tradition, viel Herzblut, Menschlichkeit und griechischer Power. Der Tintenfischarm ist mein Favorit.

Top location. Friendly staff, good atmosphere and great kitchen. They offer a small selection of food, but what they prepare is amazing. My pics might not be that good this time, but as you see its all lovely prepared.
