We (3 adults, 2 children) enjoyed lunch here today. Very fine, nice salad buffet. In the summer with the large terrace it is certainly much better because of the space available. Pay with cash only. We'd love to come back

Very nice owner and right on the water. The beautiful terrace surrounded by flowers is unique. I can only recommend Pizza Gorgonzola. Will definitely be there again. Easily accessible by bike via the promenade.

It was a coincidence on a short hike along the right bank of the Rhone. We were greeted and served very friendly! Very tasty pizza, carefully prepared! It also seems to be a popular meeting place for the residents of the area.

Very good food Easter menu: Salad from the buffet was fresh and the sauce was delicious. The selection was large The main course was Rösti croquettes and pork medallions with a delicious mushroom sauce. Price/performance is right For people who just want to drink something, there is something small to nibble for free.

If you want to eat good pizza, this is definitely the wrong place, pizza with canned mushrooms and really tasteless. I spoke to the boss directly about it, my criticism was met with complete incomprehension, he probably thought "we've been doing it this way for 30 years and no one has ever complained." You can also save yourself the bottled wine, which is a real shame in a region that has such good wine. People probably think as much about hygiene as they do about criticism, namely nothing at all. Nobody wanted to see the certificate, masks are not worn here and everyone touches everything at the salad buffet, payment only with cash and the receipt written by hand. I don't want to offend anyone here, but such restaurants should make room for new, young, motivated restaurateurs who value quality and sustainability. The two stars are for the service staff who were extremely friendly.

Yes, a simple business that we have been coming to for more than 25 years. Location is not easy to find for tourists, but it is very pleasant with the locals. Food is simple but always fresh and tasty. Every day a daily special with a choice from the salad bar at a competitive price. Map is not very extensive. Actually, I especially miss a choice of starters. Also great pizzas! The owner is a striking man and the dark lady from Madagascar is not only beautiful but also super friendly. I say see you soon!

Ich geniesse es jedes mal bei Meinrad im Promenade zu sitzen. Es ist gemütlich hier, der Patron plaudert mit seinen Gästen und schaut, dass alle Speisen kunstgerecht serviert werden. Ich empfehle das Filet auf dem heissen Stein., serviert mit 3 Saucen, Früchten und Pommes Frites. Und wenn es Jagdzeit ist, geniesst man im Promenade ein schönes Stück Wild auf dem heissen Stein.

When it comes to gastronomy, an honest, down-to-earth approach applies here. You can't expect anything fancy here, but you can expect a seasonal and local offering at very fair prices. Inside the restaurant there is a well-stocked self-service salad buffet. On weekdays there are usually 2 menus. Otherwise you are guaranteed to find something on the menu. There are excellent local wines. The innkeeper also serves the well-known Valais specialty raclette from 5 p.m.

Die Jagdsaison hat begonnen ! Ich habe es nicht versäumt zum Meinrad in die Promenade zu gehen, um mein erstes Hirschfilet auf dem heissen Stein zu degustieren. Er serviert es mit vielen Beilagen und einem feinen Kräuterbutter. Ein Traum... Dazu trinke ich einen kühlen Goron und als Abschluss lasse ich mir einen Kaffée Fertig servieren. Das alles zu einem Preis den man "ennet den Gleisen" suchen muss...
