Pura Vida in Spiez

Large selection of drinks, delicious little snacks that don't come along 0815 and a really beautiful location right on Lake Thun in the green park with playground in Spiez! Definitely worth a visit!! I had a very nice warm sandwich with brie, walnuts, chutney and rocket, awesome!!

Food and drink was great (large selection of drinks), ambience was also great, also suitable for families. There is also a playground nearby. And we received very friendly service.

Super friendly staff with great food. I can definitely recommend for lunch, dinner, or even a snack in between. It is very easy to reach by boat and there are some parking spots close by. I love Pura Vida as it does not serve French Fries like everywhere else, but have great food options! There are many vegetarian options and even some vegan ones. I can definitely recommend this place for all food lovers! The staff is super friendly and so welcoming, it made my trip extraordinary. Especially Maylea, which apparently means wildflower, made my experience unforgettable. I will be back for sure!

The chicken sandwich tastes really good. There is a lawn on the side and a lake and snow-capped mountains on the opposite side. It’s nice to sit there for a while. Sandwiches cost 12, riverla drinks cost 5, but I can accept this price by the lake. Very friendly attitude

Tasty coffee and good selection of drinks just by the little marina so good views guaranteed! Staff was nice enough to let us take our drinks to the nearby playground and bring the dishes back as we finished, which was super convenient visiting with small kids. We'll be back to try some food too!

Very friendly service. Delicious vegetable guiche with salad. This is fresh and crunchy and is perfect for the palate with a fine sauce. When the weather is nice, the ambience really puts you in the holiday mood. Relaxing, nourishing and delicious. Completely happy.

We went there for coffee and ice cream after mini golf. The ice cream was super delicious. It is self-service but very friendly and warm. Great location, great view and atmosphere. Children can go to the playground or have fun in the meadow, it is very nicely designed with the plants, I really like it. The food looked great too, maybe for dinner next time :)

Nice cozy outside restaurant with self service. Especially when the weather is nice, it invites you to linger in the bay. A large selection of drinks and there is also warm food. Friendly service. Card payment possible. Medium prices. A visit is highly recommended.

It's already become a habit every time we go for a walk along the bay with Charly, there's a quick stop at Pura Vida. Sit on the terrace, drink Hazy Pale Ale and enjoy life.

No matter whether it's a breakfast or an after-work beer... Very great location!

Wonderful food. We had the cheese sandwich and the avocado salad. The sandwich was nice and warm and crispy and that honey sauce was amazing! (I assume it was a honey sauce)

Nicely located with a lot of tables overlooking the park and lake. It gave a good ambiance. There are nice options for lunch and drinks. We went for a hotdog to go and it was decent and filling.

Was there for something to drink. I ordered a mojito and had to show my ID, everything was fine until then. But since I look younger than I am, the service asked to see my ID twice and since I'm Portuguese, my ID is also in Portuguese. I was accused of being fake and when I said no, it was simply thrown at me. A huge impudence. When I spoke to another worker, she explained it with “we're stressed”. Otherwise it's great there and a great location! Very nice

Very nice bistro, a lot of effort has been put into the decoration and the service is very friendly. Vegan snacks available - the sandwiches were great - not run of the mill! Only minus; Website doesn't work; We wanted to see what was available beforehand. The spontaneous visit was definitely worth it!

The service was a bit nasty and in a bad mood even though I ordered an ice cream for over 20 CHF... Otherwise everything was great and the location was nice.

Very cozy, windless, chilled out, friendly service, good selection of drinks and ice cream. Good little snacks, music not too loud and a variety of styles. Also easily accessible to a stroller, wheelchair or bicycle trailer
