Really enjoyed the time spent here, relaxed atmosphere, great service and the cheese and meat board was just amazing. Oh! And let’s not forget the wine, we tried a local Pinot Noir, which was very good. I highly recommend them.

Nice place, but freezing in winter as there is no heating apart from a small fireplace in a huge room. We had to keep our coats on.

Very nice establishment, the atmosphere is pleasant and intimate. The tapas are all delicious! The service is very fast, the waitresses are pleasant and give good advice.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is very warm, the place is full of people, it has a nice fireplace and limited but tasty plates. We loved it!

Failed surprise birthday. We rented the private room to celebrate the surprise birthday of a loved one except that when we arrived, it turned out that we were in the middle of people and that they had put another group of people in the room than us had booked. That said, the employee Fanny was very pleasant and did her best to ensure that we had a good time. The cocktails are good, as is the food. Just the promise of the private room to review.

Cheap quality of food with a mediocre taste at a regular price to make cash on the good will of the customers is the impression I will leave with. The guacamole was absolutely disgusting, the fries mediocre and the chicken some cheap mash of meat. I never experienced that in my life. Too bad, they have good vibe but the service to the client truly bad. We all felt abused.

A place in which there is a severe lack of: 1/ sense of service: they served a guacamole cut with fromage blanc, the taste had absolutely nothing to do with guacamole, no spice, just bad. We returned the product asking what was going on. We were first told “that’s how it is, we revisited the recipe”. They ended up agreeing to try a second time to do it again after questioning this approach to the service. They send us back rubbish, which the whole table found inedible. We therefore send them back, sorry, the order, the waitress asks if we wish to cancel the order, which we confirm, she will ask her manager and comes back to us telling us that she can take back the guacamole and make us pay the chips: “that’s all I can do” What we understand from this approach is that the sense of service is non-existent. This is not an attitude worthy of catering professionals and we inevitably remember that this address is dedicated to maximizing profit only. 2/ The inappropriate music which absolutely does not correspond to the atmosphere suggested by the nevertheless warm decor (Great strong point of this bar however, it's a real shame...) 3/ the manager refusing to come and speak to customers in the event of misunderstanding and obvious dissatisfaction of customers, great lack of professionalism. Apart from these 2 elements, The wine selection was very good, we can't comment on the cocktails.

I've always liked this place for the atmosphere but my last visit was horrible: We ordered food! I found a long hair tangled up in my hamburger pattie, my friend's croque monsieur was simply bad and my other friends all had terrible stomach cramps, flatulence and nausea that night. What a shame!

We had reservations for 15 people at 8:30 p.m. on a Friday evening, and there were only 5 beef burgers left... strange that there weren't any in stock. In addition, the waiters were very unpleasant (stressed ok because there were a lot of people, but smiles are not forbidden!!). And the music was way too loud, we had to shout to hear each other. The good thing is that the beef burger was good, then we were all served at the same time and quickly. Overall, I am mixed…. Given the welcome, I don't think I'll come back

We were fortunate to have a part of the restaurant booked for us. The food was great. Tip : do not eat beforehand. The service is amazing. If you are like us next to the fireplace and it is cold outside the experience is something.

Very beautiful place.. The burger very tasty..! The staff doesn't know how to speak English.. But he's in a good mood.

Having only had one drink I cannot give my opinion on the cuisine

I haven't been here for years, I remember very well why now....the waiters have no experience and are understaffed, it's panic on board! 30 minutes to take an order that never arrived. After 1 hour we left elsewhere. Overrated bar in which it is impossible to have a conversation at a normal volume because it is so noisy....go elsewhere there are plenty of much nicer bars just a stone's throw away!

Superb wine bar ideally located in Carouge. The choice of wine is perfect, there is something for all tastes and budgets. The shared dishes are generous and the service very pleasant and smiling. I recommend this establishment to spend a good evening with friends or colleagues.

Still a very nice bar but on the other hand: glass of wine, you are clearly not served 1dl and clearly not enough waiters. The two young waitresses did their best but clearly couldn't keep up: the boss's fault rather than hers.

Very nice bar/bistro but we were asked to pay for 2 drinks that we had never had, and the waitress insisted three times. Fishtail end therefore.

Too noisy unfortunately but very nice

Not being able to eat gluten, I took the liberty of asking for a portion of chips to accompany my platter of cold meats and cheeses. The waitress told me a supplement of 9.- for a single portion of chips… while hummus + chips is 8.-! Despite everything, the food was good and the service friendly. However shameful to charge 9.- for a portion of chips! Non-commercial managers, even more so for an addition to 170.-

Very nice, friendly decoration (especially the fireplace). The tapas are good even if the bill adds up quickly. Small downside for the service, impersonal and stressed. Always complicated to attract the attention of the staff to take an order or pay the bill. Too bad because the moment of relaxation is no longer one... but this establishment still remains one of our favorites in Geneva.

Allowed us to privatize the bottle room for lunch the day before. Owner, cook and waiter very pleasant and helpful. The menu was appreciated by all the guests. All of these elements made for a great time! A big thank-you

Great local relaxed and friendly bar/restaurant. I recommend the beef sharing dish (Beef Croquettes) which are incredible! Skip the nachos & chickpeas - very dry is tasteless. The cocktails are good and they serve real food. A little noisy though given the number of people. Very friendly and attentive service.

A unique place in Carouge. Fast and friendly service, and all the dishes were delicious. I had the salmon and rice pilaf and my friend had the beef tartare. I recommend !

Very cozy place with a fireplace and wooden ceiling. My risotto was exceptional, one of the best I've ever had (and I've had many). Service was top class.

We stumbled upon this place while walking through Carouge before a dinner reservation. We decided to have a drink and this place looked more lively than others near by, so we popped in and sat at the bar. We were warmly greeted by a bartender named Mark, who showed enthusiasm to speak English as we are Americans with very little French in our vocabulary. Not only did Mark serve us with a smile, he also took great interest in having a conversation with us. At this point in our stay in the Geneva area, very few locals have taken the time to go out of their way to converse with us, so it was exciting and a pleasant surprise to spend a part of our evening with Mark. By the end of our stay at the bar, Mark was calling us his “Chicago friends” and gave us a complimentary shot to celebrate our new found friendship. Thank you, Mark, for making our day and being so kind! As for the bar itself, the atmosphere was wonderful. Not too dark, not too bright, with plenty of seating to go around. If we were staying in the area longer, we definitely would return for dinner. If you are visiting the area, I highly recommend a stop in! Hopefully, you can be served by Mark and make a new friend just like we did!

When the wind blows the rain from all sides, this is the perfect place to stop for an aperitif. The log fire makes everything very homely. The service was super nice. The different aperitif options turn one glass into two. Great place to unwind. Gladly again.

I called to ask for a reservation for my friends and they told me no over the phone and when I arrived several tables were reserved. We ordered tapas instead, our dear neighbors next door ate them for free. The servers were not at all friendly, very disappointed and I will tell several friends not to return there again.

The welcome was very friendly from the waiter and the chef who happened to be outside. It has a short menu but very appetizing. I have eaten a terrine from the house, a beef steak tartare of great quality in the cut and the mixture, for dessert a tarte tatin. You can appreciate interest and work in kitchens. The fries, which I don't usually eat, were very crispy and juicy inside. All for about 54 Swiss francs. I also drank a bottle of Macón Aze Rochebin white chardonnay from 2020, which was formidable. I am very happy to have discovered this place and I recommend it.

It was a delicious experience that we were able to live at Qu import this weekend. The service and welcome are at the top level, not to mention the quality of the tapas. Whether you come for a little evening with friends or a birthday, you will be delighted with this place. I highly recommend it

Very very good but very very expensive. We enjoy very good tapas, but which are nevertheless served in small quantities. The atmosphere is warm but the acoustics of the room make the atmosphere very noisy. The servers are friendly and the presentation of the dishes is always beautiful to see. The choice of wines by the glass is wide, which is pleasant. However, the bill is still very salty.

I don't really know what to think anymore, whatever, a first evening which had gone well and this evening it was pitiful. The order of tapas which arrives half way, forced to reorder for the dishes not received... We ask to order a dessert, no one comes, we ended up leaving after 20/30 minutes. We no longer wanted to continue the evening in the bar. It's a shame, if the waiters had been attentive, the bill would have doubled. Despite deplorable service, the cocktails and tapas remain good.

We've always had fun coming there, but enough is enough. The setting is magnificent but the service and follow-up, catastrophic!. Two waiters come in a row to ask us what we want even though we have already ordered and the same for the second round!!.. And when someone at the table has finished their drink, not only do we come and ask them if they want anything else, but we take away their glass!!…While the other 5 guests have not finished. Super unprofessionalism!!! There are so many cool bars in the area

Bar very well located in the small town of Carouge. The staff is smiling and welcoming. Lots of choice of tapas and cocktails. The charcuterie and cheese platters are excellent. In short, a good place to spend an evening!

Very nice place where everything is quality

Attracted by a friendly atmosphere and a dish of the day that suited us (duck breast and risotto with chard ribs), welcomed in a very friendly manner, we however waited 45 minutes for the salads, followed by a delicious risotto but covered in 6 slices of duck breast resembling small soles of meat... it's long and very disappointing for a dish of the day...

At lunchtimes as well as in the evenings, the What Matters is a safe bet! The decoration, as well as the friendliness of the staff, add a plus compared to other bars. I highly recommend this establishment located in old Carouge!
