Excellent food in the middle of the afternoon. The fries are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, as they should be and well seasoned, with the best fries ever. The pork chop was delicately seasoned and as tender as I have ever had and the cordon bleu was also very delicate. Very nice service and the view from the terrace rounds off the experience.

Great view. Great food. Great company. All tied together in a cozy package.

Unique, very hospitable, everything is simply amazing

When reserving the room, rude on the phone. After making the reservation, the price suddenly increased to CHF 20, even though a different price was stated on the homepage. Absolute impudence. I would advise against booking.

Wir waren ein Erwachsener mit zwei Kindern im Dreierzimmer im Gasthaus Elmer für zwei Nächte. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal war überaus freundlich. Das inkludierte Frühstück war reichhaltig und das Abendessen im Restaurant sehr fein. Das gilt besonders, wenn man berücksichtigt, dass nur für uns und ein weiteres Gästepaar gekocht wurde - wegen Corona war für auswärtige Besucher geschlossen. Das Zimmer war für drei Personen sehr geräumig. Es war sauber und einfach eingerichtet. Einzig einen Tisch und Stühle haben wir vermisst, um etwas spielen zu können. Genug Platz wäre da. Da Skigebiet von Elm liegt nur 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Vor dem Gasthaus kann man kostenlos parkieren.
