The hotel and staff are great! There is enough parking space. The facility is generally clean. However, the food is incredibly tasteless. Just an ideal place to stay!

One of the worst restaurants, the food tastes bland, I even have a cockroach/cockroach. When I found this in the food, I asked the kitchen staff about it and they said there would never be 0 percent karkalaken in every restaurant

Very good place to eat. The staff is very friendly. The only downside is that there are only two coach parking spaces and most of the time there are trucks parked in the spaces provided for coaches. They have no respect for the highway code. It would be good for the station to have the police come regularly to fine trucks that do not respect the place.

What I think is great about this place: it is almost always open and there is a small self-service buffet. The selection is sometimes better, sometimes less. But I always find something!

I'm only writing my review because of the parking buses. I can't remember, but apparently you have to pay for parking. The restaurant is fine and so is the food. The prices are very high, like at all rest stops. It was my last time there.

Ripping off tourists, what was once a fine bakery is now just individually packaged, outdated, expensive, practically inedible goods.

Clean, friendly service, large selection for small meals, sandwiches, salads, coffee and cake, cozy, bright and quiet dining room, you can always find a place. Prices are generally rather high. I still like to stop here from the A1 motorway towards Bern.

The toilettes are not clean, no toilette paper, and on top you have to pay 1fr for it? Pretty annoying! I didn't visit the restaurant, the review is only for the toilettes.

Personally, I think the prices of food and drinks are exorbitant. But of course there is a gas station on the highway. But an impressive 8 CHF for a shower? For 5 CHF it would also do.

Good and clean rest area with a large selection

I was disappointed that the restaurant was already closed at 1600. However, the kiosk takeaway buffet on the ground floor is of above-average quality. There is also a cozy corner with tables for dining.

Great rest stop, accessible from both directions of the motorway. Lots of parking spaces, charging options for electric cars. Clean toilet facilities, good shop and a restaurant upstairs. In my opinion one of the best rest stops in Switzerland. We recommend.

It is, or was, a great rest stop with a good reputation and of course a restaurant where it tasted good. What's that supposed to mean ? The restaurant is closed from Monday to Friday from 4 p.m. Many thanks to the tenants for thinking of us chauffeurs. We work until evening and then no dinner at this rest stop. Bye bye gray wood

Is our tried and tested stop to go to the toilet again. So far we haven't had any complaints about the cleanliness Even small meals like sandwiches and salads etc You can buy drinks and all sorts of things here There is also a restaurant here, although we haven't eaten there yet The service has always been friendly and helpful

Cozy seating area I sometimes stop there for a coffee and a pastry. Self service. There is a kiosk/shop separately in the building and there is a full-service restaurant upstairs.

I gave 4 stars because it is very expensive, there is also a shower but it costs 8 chf and the toilet costs 1 chf and you have a voucher for 0.50.

Only packaged products. Not great for the environment, quite expensive for prefabricated products.

The only gas station where you get fined on the parking, just for parking 15 minutes, well parked on a regular place. Be careful, parking is now paying there and agents are fining cars the whole day. A shame.

We wanted to drink a café and eat bread rolls on December 2nd, 2023 at 10:15 a.m.! Since the parking lot wasn't cleared of snow, we didn't get out and continued driving. It would be the least that at this late time the parking lot was cleared of at least some of the snow. So, the customers stay away and of course there are self-inflicted losses in sales. A pity !!!

It's getting old and in need of renovation. Prices are far too high: Red Bull CHF 3.90, that's a rip-off, and food and snacks are also far too expensive.

The food isn't bad. But: For the price, the food doesn't have to be lukewarm, but hot!

Great rest stop, fine food, lots of space. A rest stop straight out of a picture book. Logically, the price level is slightly higher than the Migros around the corner. But the quality of the buffet was very good!

We ordered a large portion of chicken nuggets and fries. It was quite a good portion for 16.50Fr.- The nuggets were raw and the food was returned. We got new chicken nuggets but the fries were no longer fresh. It would have been nice if the fries had been remade too. Of course, since the staff only had to make chicken nuggets, the fries got cold. Next time, please remake the whole food so that the customers are very satisfied and come to you again.

My wife and I were passing through on Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon and made a quick stop. On Saturday evening we ate the beef burger with fries and something Asian. On Sunday lunchtime we ordered the chicken burger and the cheeseburger. They were all 3 great. However, the beef burger (pictured) convinced us. Fresh ingredients and real beef. 🤩🤩 Parking space is quickly found, a bit flashy decoration but fits well. Not always the normal decoration. We found a good place in the restaurant.

Josef is a wonderful employee who definitely enjoys the moment.

Everything clean and well maintained. The selection isn't small, but it's still very expensive.

Resting place with a more extensive range in the store

I went there to grab an espresso while charging my car at the ionity charging station located in the same area. That was the most expensive espresso I ever had in Switzerland: CHF 4.25. One should never say never bit it's probably the first and last time.

Cool parking, in the restaurant you can buy Swiss chocolate, backpacks, multitools and watches, there are even two stores nearby, one with products from the CIS countries Russian Bern Schop (1.5 km), the other is a regular supermarket (Anka). It was a very long weekend, everything went well.

Clearly designed, efficient and courteous operation at the checkout (self-service). Very good coffee. Accessible from both sides of the motorway (accessible bridge over the motorway).

Nicely decorated and good selection of products. Very clean and friendly staff. In addition to the usual sandwiches, the buffet also has warm dishes. Further back there is a good selection of everyday items. I am aware that prices are higher at motorway service stations. Here, however, I found it to be on the higher end.

Unusually friendly - that's really striking when a tenant (I assume) treats his motorway guests so nicely and has an attentive word for everyone. I like that - you feel in good hands, welcome and it just puts you in a good mood. Besides, the rolls are delicious, the prices are fair and you can charge very quickly at ionity columns in front of the door. A recommended stop on the way to or from France.

Excellent food and very friendly staff. One star less for parking, better to come on foot😉 that would avoid a fine, 15 minutes parking sign not highlighted. And be careful if you take a few extra minutes to finish your coffee :)

We always stop at Grauholz when we are passing through. The reason is the nice service, the delicious food, the well-kept atmosphere and, above all, the swing bench! Once it's occupied, we have one more reason to try again next time.

The food was very good for a highway rest stop. The toilet for wheelchair users leaves a lot to be desired. Towel holder too high, not clean enough... etc.

The breakfast buffet in the restaurant is limited to the minimum. The rolls are very small and expensive. You had to eat several things to fill yourself up. You had to think of bread and plaits. It's not at all like it used to be. Do people even eat breakfast these days? I was already very disappointed. There used to be a huge selection available. I could have bought a lot more for the price in the shop downstairs and would have eaten enough.

Wanted to have some food in Grauholz North. The restaurant closes at 4 PM. Only some snacks in the self service available. Excuse of the staff: We have 5 different establishments and we can not keep them open all. N.B. The A1 is one of the main highways in Switzerland!!! Not worth it!

As always, a good place to stay overnight.

Friendly staff and a very clean shower with plenty of space. The shower costs 8 francs. You can park a little away from the highway.

Like most motorway service stations, it's rather expensive, but otherwise ok.

Very expensive sandwiches. However, the reason for my review is the fact that the cleaner stood in my way and said something about "Pay!" said, even though I paid a normal franc to get through the turnstile. Only after I showed her my ticket did she let me through! I find it a disgrace.
