Very nice and cozy restaurant, We received a warm welcome and were then presented with the daily menu. The food was terrific, the salad was crunchy and the sauce was great. For the main course there was perch fillet with boiled potatoes and vegetables, there could have been 1-2 potatoes more, but everything tasted great. For dessert I had the Black and White Chocolate Mousee. I was expecting a small dessert but there were three “balls” of chocolate mousse which were beautifully garnished and tasted great. Definitely worth a visit. Reservations are strongly recommended

We had reservations for a party of 9 (4 adults/5 kids). From the moment walking into the door, you felt this sense of warmth and friendliness. Our waitress was wonderful! She was great (patient)with our children, recommendations, service and friendliness. Our food & wine was delicious and fresh. Oh, and the location was set in beautiful Muttenz. We will definitely come back again and we will definitely recommend to our friends and colleagues!

The extra room was nice! Unfortunately, because there were too many guests, it was too warm and the background noise was enormous. You couldn't have a proper conversation. A pity!

A classic swiss restaurant. Some of the items on the menu are quite expensive but there is a separate menu for the room on the left when you enter the building, which is quite interesting. Service was tip-top.

If I could give 6 stars I would. Our absolute favorite restaurant. The food is super delicious. The sauces are to die for. A hollandaise worthy of its name. The service is always friendly and accommodating. Maintaining this level with the number of guests is certainly a challenge. We always like to come. But almost nothing works without a reservation. For good reason. Keep it up. But please not more guests. Sometimes you have to wait a little long. Good things take time.

Celebrated my birthday today with a delicious meal at the Gasthof Rebstock. Unfortunately, our appetite was too small for the delicious starters. So we made do with the fine Chateaubriand. The meat was wonderfully tender and tasted delicious. This Chateaubriand was one of the best we have ever had. When it came to wine, we tried an unfamiliar one from the Veneto, it was good, but we like other ones from the Veneto better. At the end we treated ourselves to a delicious sorbet to top it all off. The service was nice and courteous. We will definitely eat there again.

The food was very good and the conditions were also friendly. Since it's going well, it's a little loud and it takes a little longer. But better than 100 menus and everything frozen. Always my pleasure. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos 🙄

Good home-style cuisine with seasonal specialties and also an Italian menu that is good by Swiss standards.

Wednesday lunchtime without having reserved, we were warmly welcomed and given us the choice between several tables. The menu is beautiful in addition to daily menus. I had the perch fillets which were succulent and well accompanied by rice and many vegetables. My wife had the venison escalopes which were perfect in terms of quantity, cooking, accompaniment and seasoning, not too sweet as we have already had elsewhere. The glass of Muttenz red wine was sublime (be careful to drink in moderation). The espresso we like was served with a homemade truffle. The smiling and pleasant waiter served our dog a bowl of water without us asking. In short, a deserved 5 stars.

Great restaurant. Best quality. The price is justified. We dined with 10 people, everything was excellent. Very large wine list. I can only highly recommend the restaurant. This was the second time in 4 years that we had dinner with the same group.

It was my long-time friend who introduced me to this incredible restaurant! Warm and professional welcome. Meal and wine recommended with excellent experiences. Pleasant place and attentive guests. The 3 excellent filets, with rice, fruit, pasta, vegetables and 3 delicious minute sauces. The dessert, a first for me, delicious. The recommended wine is Amarone...powerful while having exquisite aromas. Congratulations to the whole team. Many thanks. Kiss bald!

When the lady in service says; I wish you Bon Appetit. And asks; Would you like to have some French fries? Then you know you are on the Rhine knee. Came across this restaurant through a Google search. Wonderfully "old-fashioned" (in a positive sense) classic, good home cooking and very good craftsmanship. Yes, it can get a bit loud and hectic in the restaurant. But the whole thing had its charm. The chef de service addressed me by name all the time.

Consistently good service and best food for over 20 years (time that I come here on a regular basis - it is much older than that). A place for private and business events alike and always a good choice.

The restaurant was very busy and therefore very noisy. I could barely hold a conversation. The food was good and was enjoyable. If my wine order hadn't been lost in the lunch rush, I would have given it 5 stars without hesitation.

I was there for dinner. The food was very good and the service was friendly and attentive. Solid ambience. Rather expensive. Hall and toilets on the 1st floor. Lots of guests - make sure you make a reservation. A few parking spaces in front of the house, more in the immediate vicinity.

The food was perfect. Now unfortunately comes the BUT...we sat in the room where the buffet is. As soon as the service started, the noise (to say the least) started. A shouting back and forth between the service staff and bosses. Hard to bear and very unprofessional. No trace of comfort! We then had dessert outside on the terrace because it gave me a headache. We would still love to go again, but would make a reservation in the other room now that we know.

I have known the Rebstock for over 20 years. Best quality and great service. If you love good home-style food, this is the right place for you. Fair price-performance ratio and outstanding from starters to desserts. I can only recommend the Chateaubriand for 2 people as well as all the morel dishes. Always my pleasure

If I can claim one thing, it's that on the menu there is Zürcher Geschnetzeltes, and they are out of Rösti, and instead of saying no, they offer with pasta or rice, I took with rice, but it has nothing to do with a Zürich Geschnetzeltes.

Den Rebstock kenne ich schon, seit ich in der Sekundarschule in Münchenstein war, als ich mit Freund aus der Klasse beschlittelbare Strasse ausserhalb von Muttenz Richtung Schönmatt im Winter Richtung Dorf schlittelten. Nachher hatten wir immer einen Imbiss mit Getränk genommen. Käse, Schinken Brot mit unserem Sackgeld bezahlt. Im Gymnasium hatte ein Freund aus der Sek Münchenstein die Lehre als Koch gemacht und kannte den Sohn des Besitzers vom Rebstock, der ebenfalls eine Kochlehre machte, der später Koch im Rebstock wurde. An meinem Heritatstag, hatten wir das Essen im Rebstock. Darum gehe ich immer wieder einmal ind den Rebstock. Er hatt einen Sitzplatz westlich des Restautant, auf dem man am Mittag bis in den Abend meistens Sonne hat. Die Bedienung hat sich, jetzt durch Corona nur aussen möglichen Bedienung einen sehr schnellen Service, mit 4 Bedienungen! Ich kann ihn nur empfehlen!
