Nice little cafe with friendly service and fabulous nut crackers with an extremely rich nut filling. In terms of price, it is even “cheap” for Switzerland. But what is cheap these days?

We had breakfast there every day of our 5 days in Samnaun and ate ice cream twice in the afternoon. Everything is delicious, you can sit nicely inside and out, and the two ladies behind (and in front of) the counter are extremely friendly, generous and charming. The Rechsteiner is a “must” on every visit to Samnaun.

Too expensive, 1.80fr to add some whipped cream on my plate, and 4fr for adding some hot vanilla sauce on the strudel!!!

Nowhere is there a better lentil cake than at Rechsteiner. The filling is perfect, not too much and not too little. Just the way we love it. Shopping at Rechsteiner is part of every visit to Samnaun.

Be sure to try the nut croissants and Samnaun nut cake!

The “Bäckerei Rechsteiner” offers next to different types of bread also a range of food staples and also Ice cream varieties and a small restaurant with toilet in the same building room. A short visit is also worthwhile for first-time discoveries and the stop for both the "local bus" and the "ski bus" is nearby. Cute little bakery that is welcoming. The pastries and bread are very tasty; especially the potato bread. You can sit very well indoors.

Lovely café / bakery with excellent products, perfect for a light breakfast, but also to have a nice cake or a coffee (also for takeaway). The lemon - cream cake was delicious, so were the pastries we had for breakfast. The personnel was lovely and very friendly, we really loved it here.

Very fine bread/rolls. Good selection of sweet pastries, the vanilla raspberry pockets were simply heavenly delicious :-) We fed us here all last week, unfortunately only "to go" as restaurants were closed due to Covid measures. The employees were always very friendly.

Greeted warmly by the boss on Saturday morning when you entered. Very clean & a combination between shop and cafe that complies with Covid 19 regulations. The next time we visit Samnaun we will have breakfast there again.

Loved coming here! We had just come down from the slopes and were taking a break to explore Samnaun, and were baffled that a european town could only have one bakery. Upon coming in, the lady was very nice to us, trying her best to understand my broken German. She took our order right away which was just a nutella crepe, confusing us when she brought out drinks with cookies. We asked her what it was and she told us it was free, we didnt have to pay. Nice refreshment after all day skiing. Rhe food and drinks were very nice as well.

We were there to drink a coffee and eat an apple strudel. It was ok and not bad at all! The service was very nice and friendly, but in my opinion there were... After a bit of a lack of choice, it's one of the only bakeries nearby. In addition, that's just the way it is in Switzerland, it's not exactly cheap!
