The food is expensive and not so good. The fish and chips were a joke nothing like the original and the farfalle with beetroot and mozzarella were more like food for babies mashed steamed beetroot covering the pasta and 3 mozzarella near. The inside of the restaurant is lovely and the staff is nice but for food I’d recommend the pizzeria Le Resto a 5 min walk from the car park, pizza made by italians!

Refuge de Frience is a mountain restaurant located next to an artificial lake at 1800 meters above sea level, where you can swim with the cows grazing in the background. It is a typical Swiss chalet entirely made of wood, where they serve dishes mainly based on cheese: fondue, raclette, croute, truly delicious. The family that runs it is very hospitable, and provides free equipment for camping on the banks of the lake (umbrellas, picnic tables,) and you can also have a packed breakfast.

You had to be motivated to run in the rain to the shelter... But it was worth it! Excellent and inventive, full of flavors... Can't wait to go back
