Reinhard in Bern

Prices at the upper limit as expected. The service disappointing. Visibly demotivated, bored students. Didn't see any specialists at lunchtime. But the sandwich was nice.

Prices are relatively high, so you might expect a bit more quantity, but we really enjoyed the sandwich and the ham croissants, and that's what counts in the end.

Almost CHF 7.00 for a 250g loaf is quite steep. Then it should also be of good quality. Unfortunately it wasn't. Absolutely not cuttable (yes, the knife is sharp, not run-of-the-mill Ikea rubbish) and it wasn't particularly edible either. Every discounter around the corner wins the competition. In 2024 you should be able to expect a bakery to be able to produce good, decent bread. For several hundred years, humanity has been producing a variety of bread creations using flour, water and yeast, but this craft seems to have been lost in the age of modernity. With all the resources available, it should be possible to produce a loaf of bread of reasonably acceptable quality. Even today, there are a wide variety of ethnic groups who go through life without electricity and manage to use wood-fired ovens to produce bread that lasts for a whole week and still tastes very good afterwards. Only buy Black Forest cake with additional dental (doctor) insurance! At least 3 cherry stones in a cake. It would be one more thing if this danger were pointed out when purchasing... After the 1st stone you lose the enjoyment because after that all the guests just had to be careful not to burn out a blob!

The place offers exceptionally poor service, with a bias based on customers' personal look and color. The employees display racist behavior, making customers feel humiliated in a public setting. I was the first in line but was repeatedly ignored, while the staff attended to three others behind me, laughing each time. I certainly won't be returning to this bakery.

As customers, we also understand the shortage of skilled workers in your area. Nevertheless, we would like to be treated decently as your paying customers! The fact that after a long day at work you might not be able to smile is no problem at all. But there is no place for me to be treated cheekily and condescendingly when I ask, even after a long day at work!

A perfectly normal baguette here costs a whopping 5.90 CHF and isn't even particularly good!

CHF 2.70 for a very small brioche (and the top wasn't even domed as you'd expect on this type of bread). The taste was bland and not cooked enough. A big disappointment, especially at this price.

I particularly liked the blonde one. Croissants were juicy and crunchy, just the way I like them! 13/13 stars

The price is disproportionate to the quality and quantity. 8.2 CHF for 2 small pretzels. Products without any price tag. The store thinks that because it has a space at the train station, it can charge travelers any price. Completely unfair behavior.

Normally ok but this time very dissatisfied. I pre-ordered a Black Forest cake for a child's birthday and wanted it without cherries and without alcohol. This was not possible as this had to be ordered a week in advance. Nevertheless, the classic version was ordered and picked up a day later. Unfortunately, the big disappointment came when the “fresh” cake was cut: half of it was still frozen… something like that doesn’t work. TK Black Forest. The children's disappointment was very great. The cake was not eaten. Better to Migros in the future.

Please bake the apple rolls completely, do not sell the raw dough. You put the product in a paper and the customer does not see that the bun cannot be eaten because there is raw dough inside.

Unfortunately, the good service has left a lot to be desired lately…. The staff is extremely inattentive and often completely overwhelmed. I have often been simply ignored, so I left again. I like to buy a chocolate mousse cup every now and then, but I find it extremely questionable when the staff doesn't automatically think of putting a lid on it. In the future I will consider continuing to shop at Reinhard in the train station.

Unfortunately the worst ham croissants I have ever bought from a Beck. It's great that Bänz sells drinks, but why do they sell them unrefrigerated on the open shelf? In summer I want a cold drink - especially at Bänz. A pity! Service friendly therefore 2 stars…

Quickly buy some bread on the way home: good location with fast and friendly service - even when it's busy. The selection of breads is good. The olive/tomato bread is great. Beautiful and tasty sandwiches!

Today I bought a nut and an almond croissant at Bern train station. Unfortunately, both were very over baked and had little to no flavor. I don't have to buy it again.

I'm shocked, a pretzel for 4.20 Stutz. So now I tried to eat the pretzel on the train, dust dry, not edible. Maybe it's because the pretzel was hung up to dry like laundry. It was probably the pretzel from the day before, a cheek, they are ashamed to sell such a product, it has nothing to do with the craft of bakery. Reinhard AG once had a name, please rename it e.g. Abzocker AG. I'm pissed off and still hungry, I'll complain the next time I visit Bern. Mr. Reihnhard, if you sell old pretzels as crumbs, then you can still make pretzel dumplings and not scare away your customers. According to reviews, it is common practice to sell old pretzels, your bad reviews (average 2.4) show that something is going wrong in your company .

The staff was just talking in front of the bread shelf (so they couldn't see which bread I wanted to buy), didn't greet me or serve me, didn't even look at me and I was alone in the shop. Only when an older gentleman stood next to me did they serve him first. Then I had to report it and I was angry! I don't think that works! Bern train station.

These vermicelli were priced at 4.80 francs/piece. My friend paid 13.80 for 2. She immediately informed the saleswoman who didn't want to hear anything. She set up the transaction on the banking application and the saleswoman denied it! Unacceptable!

I think it's great that there are vegetarian/vegan sandwiches with hummus or tofu. Unfortunately you will be laughed at if you order this... what a shame

I bought two Carac today. Both in a sack, crushed. Then I posted a tomato and an onion cake, crammed together in a bag that was too small without a sheet, I didn't even get a box. I paid over Fr.30 for my purchase and I'm so disappointed!

The service was great, I can't fault it (i.e. 2 stars). But CHF 5.50 for a bread as dry as the desert and barely salted is simply not possible! I expected more quality. This isn't the first time I've been disappointed. A pity!

Bern train station 6:00 p.m.: Bread baked or from the day before because it was bone dry. I expect fresh produce (!) from a bakery, otherwise the price will be down - otherwise you'll be ripping off customers - the service is very friendly.

In my eyes and experiences, number 1 in the canton of Bern. Quality is always top and very friendly staff. Very good selection, good coffee and clean shop. Keep it up 🌞😍❤️

I quickly bought two pretzels from Reinhard at the train station and got on the platform... unfortunately these pretzels were from the day before or the day before, dry and crumbly, but for CHF 4 each. Sorry Reinhard, that doesn't work at all! If I hadn't had to get to the train, I would have stopped by again.

The quality is excellent, but the service is very unfriendly. It's a shame. I will buy my cake somewhere else in the future.

I have shopped here 3 times in the last few weeks and received very unfriendly service 3 times. The quality is excellent, but the service does not reflect the prices. Very unfortunate. I will buy my rolls and cake elsewhere in the future.

Very expensive. I bought a pretzel. It was inedible: hard on the outside and crumbly on the inside. I would still like to sell such dry baked goods, but I would sell them over the counter in the evening for less money.

Offer, especially the bread, as usual from Reinhard, was great. Desserts and souvenirs are priced at the limit, but probably okay for last minute :-)
