7 minutes walk from Cheseaux train station, pretty modern restaurant offering excellent bistronomic cuisine. Excellent service. Great food/wine pairing offered as an option for a 3-course menu. A la carte meals or 2 or 3 course menu options for lunch and dinner. A good address to remember.

Very discreet but nice surprise

Arrived on the terrace with an acceptable welcome. The service seemed slow to me with the few people there were at the end of the afternoon.

I didn't know exactly how many there would be but we had arranged this with the boss. Arrived on site, numerous unpleasant remarks from the boss who told us that this is not the way to do it. Boss borderline aggressive and humorless. Stands up and wants to have the last word. Group of 9 people arrived between 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The boss refuses to take the order on the grounds that people still have to arrive (one person is late). You have to wait until 8:45 p.m. to get bread and 9:00 p.m. to get the entry. Server borderline nonchalant, visibly exhausted at having to serve us. He balances the bill on the table at 10:30 p.m., requested a quarter of an hour earlier. It is ready at 10:45 p.m. when the members of the group, who live in Fribourg, Geneva and the Vallée de Joux, can finally return home.

4th visit to this pretty little inn...always well-crafted dishes, flavorful and tasty cuisine...the fish are always perfectly prepared. Nice atmosphere and welcome. A young chef who has passed through some pretty houses.

Arrival at 1:13 p.m....I was told that I could no longer eat. I ask what time does the kitchen close? They answer me at 1:30 p.m. so I just ask for a small snack and even that is no longer possible since the kitchen closes at 1:30 p.m.! Completely disappointed!

But what a nice surprise for an impromptu evening. A stunning discovery menu from starter to dessert. Incredible service and cuisine.. thank you for this great time. I will come back for sure.

Excellent cuisine, fine and made to order. Original map also. Unfortunately, the service time is too long, especially at lunchtime when people have little time to eat. It's a shame, because it's an essential point these days.

02.14.2023: Valentine's Day menu Delicious meal (we would have liked to have taken duplicate starters)! :-) Nice setting, welcoming staff. However, two “downsides”: 1_ The wait to be served (more than 45 minutes after our arrival)... and the wait BETWEEN the dishes! Even though it’s Valentine’s Day and the restaurant was full, it lacked a bit of “rhythm” (at least, from my “customer” point of view). 2_ The Chef (very friendly) happily comes to all the tables to ask our opinion after EACH dish (at least, that evening). It's a bit too much! ;-) Strictly speaking, a stopover mid-meal and at the end of the service would, it seems to me, be more than sufficient! Don't worry... your dishes are very good! :-)

Our 3rd time with them. Unfortunately the evening got off to a bad start. 30 minutes to get the card and attention. So already 40 minutes for drinks and 1h10 for starters (very good) yet the restaurant was practically empty. 1h40 after our arrival, the main course (meat) was average and still with new potatoes. Is that all there is? Dessert good but no innovation/change. This time the quality and service were not there. Damage !!

Beautiful plates, very good dishes. Modern and pleasant decoration. The level of service, although friendly and fun, is not up to par. The menu choices are very limited. For the quality it's great, but we won't be coming back very soon, at least not before a change of menu. Damage!
