Great pizzas, friendly service.

Our visit on Thursday lunchtime was good. We had a daily menu (pizza) for Fr. 19.50 with SKat and dessert, top price!

Were at the New Year's Eve event. Good atmosphere, great food. What should be communicated better is what goes on the buffet and when. So I tasted too much from the starter buffet and had to cut back on a sample portion of the meat, which was delicious.

The best pizza far and wide that is really Italian and not from the kebab next door. Very tasty from the wood oven. Some other pizzerias can learn a lesson from this. Very friendly and warm Italian host couple. If pizza, then only from Altavilla. Unfortunately no delivery service, but take away is possible. We always feel very welcome at Altavilla.

We ate excellent wood-fired pizza! Crispy base, fine topping. Light version: Pizza Norma without mozzarella. The eggplants are fried separately and placed on the pizza with the ripe ricotta after baking - delicious! 🥰 Simple atmosphere, friendly, attentive service. Prices Swiss level. This excellent pizza gets 5⭐

"Bad for wheelchair users!" The ramp at the entrance goes around the corner and is very, very steep. You need at least one very strong support person, in order to create that. The toilet is on the ground floor, but that's how it is crammed with table, vacuum cleaner, broom Clothes and a lot of other junk that you have far too little space. The door can not be closed because of your own Wheelchair is in the door. Everything in this "chamber" was quite dingy. The disabled toilet is not allowed Storage room can be misused! Had to deal with the situation with injury and leave a damaged wheelchair! You shouldn't feel discriminated against?! I have to say, they knew I was in a wheelchair and had been reserved for weeks, so it wasn't even a surprise visit! Everyone should be able to use the toilet in a restaurant!!!

I got a very good pizza there (Pizza Gorgonzola). With fresh food, recommended, nice staff, large parking lot.

It has little to do with Italian. A real pizza has a thick crust and the base is definitely not crispy.

The best pizza in the region! We often order pizza to pick up, it's always made very quickly and is super tasty. Friendly staff. Even when we were guests in the restaurant for other dishes, everything was great!

The food (pizza) was good, there are no complaints about that. We had two pizzas, a Margherita for 15.50 and a "della Casa" (raw ham/rucola/mozzarella) for a whopping 28.50! So if I have to pay almost 30 francs for a pizza in the province of Ormalingen (sorry), then that's it for me - NEVER AGAIN!

The four of us went out for dinner on a Sunday evening. The food was good, unfortunately the service was very inattentive and unfriendly. Had to wait a very long time, or wanted to order drinks and other things and no one came. There were currently around 10 people in the restaurant with us. In the end I had to get up myself to provide service. It's a shame for the restaurant because the food was good.

A nice restaurant in Ormalingen. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty. There was a little greeting from the kitchen and the pasta was al dente. The dessert was also delicious, but the ice cream (frisco) was too sweet for me personally. Overall we had a successful evening. The only thing we think needs improvement is the atmosphere, there is a bit of a lack of decoration, but otherwise everything was clean and well-kept.

I had the worst focaccia parma of my life here! The focaccia was ordered at 6:30 p.m. When I got there on time, it was already cold and the Parmesan and any spices/oils were missing. And the Parma ham was inedible! And for CHF 20.- in take away 😳

Spectacular! The place, the food, the attention, amazing!.....

The salad never arrived. We didn't get any attention to remember the waiter. My husband got the wrong pizza after 10 minutes, I waited another 10 minutes and received the wrong food, only 9 minutes later I received my dish. We were dissatisfied, we expressed it, but there was no satisfactory answer. We're avoiding the store from now on.

Food great, service great, not a long wait. Highly recommended Focaccia Parma, this is a mega large pizza with Parma ham, Parmesan cheese in thin slices and rocket, the base is lightly covered with fresh tomatoes. A sensation for the palate.

Wir waren zu zirka 30 Personen gestern im Altavilla. Wir waren alle zufrieden, das Essen war sehr gut, Menü-Wahl ist riesig, die Bedienung schnell und freundlich. Fleisch, Pizza, Vorspeisen, alles was sehr gut. Es gibt eine grosse Auswahl an Pizzas und Cordon-Bleu. Mein Cordon Bleu mit Taleggio, Mascarpone, Schinken, etc., war riesig und TOP!! Als Beilagen habe ich Tagliatelle genommen mit Braun-Sauce; ich bin da sehr anspruchsvoll, und sie waren aber wirklich Top Top! Also, ich kann Altavilla absolut empfehlen, auch für grössere Gesellschaften. Wir gehen 100% sicher wieder hin!!!

Always an original Italian pizza

Wir freuten uns auf eine super italienische Pizza. Der Kellner wirkte wenig motiviert. Ein kleiner Extrawunsch auf Pizza wurde dann doch vergessen, die Pizza war qualitativ nichts besonderes. Zäher Pizzakäse, Tomatensauce aus der Dose und beim Salat Fertigsauce..... so war unser Eindruck.

Since I was here 3-4 times a few years ago and it was always excellent, we stopped here with the family on the way back from Rust. Unfortunately it was a big disappointment! The beginning was promising with the greeting from the kitchen. The youngest had to wait a long time for his pizza because he was the only one who hadn't ordered an appetizer. A 10 year old who is hungry... A salad with the wrong sauce was delivered and unfortunately my bruschettes were very salty and the bread wasn't particularly good either. The pasta was al dente, not as usual for an Italian. The waitress kindly brought us another portion, but unfortunately it wasn't perfect either: it wasn't cooked enough! Well... we won't be eating there anymore!

Ist eigentlich eine Pizzeria, aber die Karte hat viel mehr zu bieten. Die Qualität der Speisen ist sehr gut. Auch das Ambiente mit grosser Terrasse ist sehr schön. Die Bedienung war aussergewöhnlich nett und sehr geflissentlich. Man zahlt ev. ein paar Franken mehr als anderswo, aber es lohnt sich.
