Restaurant Alte Post in Innertkirchen

Purely by chance we made a short pit stop here because the heat was really killing us at the end of August. We really enjoyed the short time, absolutely lovely time, and the owner is super friendly. We'll be back, that's for sure. Greetings from Hungary!

Beautiful location to stop off and get something to eat and drink on your journey up or on the way down the Susten Pass, whether your on foot bike or car. Great local beer and dishes with ingredients direct from the local farmers. Or just get a beer and watch the various motorbike and cars new and old drive by like we do.

Very helpful owners. Here you realize that there really are still decent people with big hearts. We came after opening time (after 2 hours) to get something to eat. The owners were about to close. We still made ourselves a great family plate with dessert and tea. You didn't even give us the feeling that we should leave even though you were tired yourself. Great people, thank you

Super cozy atmosphere and very friendly service. Can definitely recommend their burger, as the meat is extra good from a local butcher. We are from Denmark and when we are served by the host, it turns out that his wife is also from Denmark, so it was quite nice to have a little chat.

Cozy pub with super friendly service, even our four-legged friends got a treat.

We only had some icecream and a beer on the terrace, but experience was smooth, and very friendly staff.

Cheese slices with fried onions and fresh bread underneath Small sausage salad beautifully garnished with a delicious salad dressing Homemade pizza bread for dessert a homemade strawberry tiramisu - oh delicious A must, 3 DL mineral and a coffee - together Fr.48.60 -- and at 1200 meters - simply delicious and ingenious. We can really recommend it - we will definitely come back again.

Small but very fine selection from the kitchen with hearty dishes such as cheese slices etc. Very nice service!

Found this nice restaurant in Gadmen today. Were attracted by the billboard with the daily specials. Beef burger, absolutely recommended. The operators are very nice and friendly. The restaurant is very clean and well maintained. The Alte Post is highly recommended.
