Restaurant Amalfi in Riehen

My family and I were in Riehen during the week and we came across this restaurant on the street. Despite a large turnout and the absence of a reservation, the guys assigned us a comfortable table for 4 people. The presence of many Italian customers in the room suggested that the food was not bad at all, expectations in fact respected by the pizzas we ate. Congratulations to the 2 waiters who, despite the busy evening, didn't make us have to wait and immediately empathized with us and the other customers. average prices, we will definitely return when we return to the area

We had lunch with my wife and my little son... delicious food... and a very kind and welcoming team... we were very satisfied

The grilled octopus on chickpea cream and the fresh mixed salad were a good start. The octopus tasted like it was in Liguria at the stand, holiday feelings come flooding back! For the main course, a different type of pizza, extremely tasty and recommended. Before the aperitif there was an aperitif with limoncello, a poem! There was no more room for Dolci, but there was a small, fine, strong espresso. We will be back!

A typical Italian restaurant, as you know it from your holidays in Italy. Nice, quiet atmosphere, excellent service and the food is excellent. A big win for Riehen. We love coming back again and again.

The food is delicious and tastes good. The waiters were nice. Limoncello Spitz is a highlight! Only the ambience seems a bit uncomfortable.

Very nice restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, you feel like you are in Italy when you stare at the pizza wood oven. The pizza was great, for me, one of the best in the region. I would happily go again and would recommend it to others.

We celebrated my son's birthday, excellent food, kind and helpful staff, the only flaw was that we sat outside and my cervical pain reminded me of this, you know you're not a little girl anymore 😂😂😂 for the rest I congratulate everything the staff ate a risotto with asparagus tips and prawns, fried calamari which was top notch and then they kindly also offered us bitters and coffee ❤️

We discovered this place which opened a few months ago thanks to the excellent publicity it enjoys among the locals. We booked for 5 people and were given a large, comfortable table. As soon as we arrived, they welcomed us in a warm and friendly way. We ate a platter of cold cuts and cheeses, all excellent and absolutely fresh. Then we moved on to the pizzas, and we discovered that in addition to being a very nice and kind person, Antonio is a fantastic pizza chef... we came with some local friends and they couldn't believe it, they had never tasted a pizza that came close to that that they were eating. Good prices, average but excellent value for money. To redo

I had already heard a lot about your pizza and finally had to try it out for myself... Conclusion: rumors true or exceeded! simply great! pizza like in Bella Napoli! If you don't try it, you're missing out.

Classic Neapolitan pizza, high edge, light and above all delicious! I also had the pleasure of meeting the pizza chef who, among other things, is also of Neapolitan origins, perfect combo!

Before eating the pizza we had a platter of cold cuts and cheeses, then we ordered the pizza, a real spectacle! Aesthetically beautiful but above all good and light!

Table reserved online at 11:30 a.m. Received confirmation by email. We arrived at 11:25 a.m. only to be told they didn't open until 12 p.m. Honest? And in such an arrogant tone. We should sit down and have a cold drink until the time comes. Miserable!!!! It's during the week. We'll make sure it fits into the lunch break and then be fobbed off like that? Yes, they know it says 11:30 on the internet, they'll have to change it at some point... We were looking forward to a delicious pizza but you definitely won't see us like that. We then went to a local restaurant nearby and they were very happy that it didn't work out for you. Something like that doesn't go down well in Riehen. I don't think the place will last like this...

First of all, the food is great. The service is terribly bad. We had to beg for everything, for the wine list, for the food to be delivered after an hour... no one asked for coffee or espresso... we had to beg several times for the bill, we won't go there again, a shame for the good food

This really is the best food and pizza I have ever eaten. Everything tastes incredibly delicious. The ingredients are very high quality and that's how it tastes. In addition, really exceptionally good service - attentive but not intrusive. I can only recommend!

Typical Italian Restaurant with nice pizzas. The rest is pricy and the service on this evening was slow, visibly understaffed. Tiramisù was very tasty, but CHF 13 for a portion is a no-go

Pizza great, service flop! Extremely delicious pizzas but service unfortunately inadequate: inattentive, slow and not exactly friendly. Overall, waiting times were above average (guests who arrived/ordered after us sometimes had their food quicker, which is an absolute no-go). Price/performance is definitely better elsewhere

Nice restaurant with a pleasant terrace. The pizzas are a highlight. Unfortunately the only one. The service is disappointing: unfriendly and inattentive. We also had to wait forever for every step (ordering an aperitif, getting a card, ordering the food, dessert & coffee). A pity. Even though the pizza was really tasty, the price/performance ratio was definitely not right!

I had lunch at this restaurant with my women's group. The food is very good but a bit little. The long waiting time until you get something is very borderline...it wasn't enough for the dessert that was included in the menu. Only come here if you really have time!!!!!!
