I visited this restaurant with some anticipation but was unfortunately disappointed. .The food was neither particularly well prepared nor served hot. Service was friendly, but it seemed like the staff was otherwise occupied and didn't pay enough attention to the guests. Overall, the price-performance ratio did not meet my expectations. The decoration and ambience of the restaurant, although nice, could not hide the other shortcomings.

The food was ok, wannabe fancy restaurant. But the staff drinking wine on the bar was bit too much. If they needed alcohol during work that bad, they should at least hide.

We had the pleasure of visiting Assaggio Restaurant today and I absolutely love it! From the first moment I entered the cozy setting I felt welcome. The boss was very nice and the staff was friendly and attentive. The dining experience was outstanding. Great selection of lunch menus at fair prices. Overall, I can fully recommend the Assaggio restaurant. We will come back in any case!

We visited Assaggio for the first time yesterday. From the outside it seemed inconspicuous at first. The entrance is a little hidden down the stairs. We were warmly welcomed by the boss and his wife and escorted to our table. When I got there I was IMMEDIATELY offered a handbag holder, what a service. The decor was rustic with Italian flair combined with a beautiful modern starry sky. (Small criticism, the backrest of the chair was very hard in the long run) The menu was full of delicious and seasonal dishes and changing dishes. I chose the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and a brandy sauce. My husband had the pizza with spicy salami. The tagliatelle was on point and there were enough porcini mushrooms on the plate. The brandy sauce was very full-bodied and also highly recommended. I was allowed to try the pizza and would like it to have more salami on it. But next time I'll order a pizza and happily adjust my rating. I can only recommend the homemade herbal lemonade, I really enjoyed it. MY highlight of the evening was my dessert, A classic from Italy, of course, is tiramisu. YOU MAKE THE VERY BEST TIRAMISU IN THE WORLD!

Restaurant Assaggio, Feusisberg near Zurich - A culinary highlight! As soon as we entered Assaggio we knew that this evening would be special. A warm welcome from the attentive service staff accompanied us throughout the evening. The interior impresses with its well-thought-out design, which creates a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Particularly noteworthy is the Diavola Grande pizza. In addition to its unmistakable taste, it impresses with its lightness and a tomato sauce that perfectly combines freshness and aroma. The regional porcini mushroom tagliatelle, refined with a brandy cream sauce, was a taste experience that will be remembered for a long time. Kudos to the team for the spot-on wine recommendation, which complemented the meal perfectly. The tiramisu, traditionally prepared with a little twist, was to die for. Creamy, rich and definitely the best we've ever had. Not to forget the in-house pepperoni sauce - intense and fruity at the same time. The excellent price-performance ratio confirms: A visit to Assaggio is worth every cent! In summary: Assaggio in Feusisberg is a culinary insider tip and an absolute must for every gourmet.

I enjoyed this place some years ago, and arrived today to find new ownership of extraordinary courtesy, charm, and attention to detail. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, as well the character and ambiance were such fun that we stayed hours longer than planned. We will be back often and cannot sing enough praises for this little bit of Italian magic.

The best Italian in the entire area!

The location is nice and rustic, we finally have “a good Italian” nearby again, the service is very hospitable and familiar. The menu has a great selection and an authentic Neapolitan influence. Price-performance is right. We tried the pizza, great - the salads and pasta were also delicious. The limoncello at the end was super good, really fresh and lemony.

Rarely eaten so deliciously. Service is super fast and gives great recommendations. Here the friendliness is not an act, but comes from the heart. Everything is relaxed. Stylish yet relaxed. An atmosphere in which you feel comfortable. I'm already looking forward to the next visit.

Only tried risotto and a pizza. Pizza was good to very good but not the best we have eaten. Unfortunately, the risotto was typical of risotto in today's restaurants: made quickly, i.e. with normally cooked rice only refined with mascarpone or cream at the end. We would have preferred to wait 20 or 25 minutes and get a real risotto, which is why only 3 stars. We will come back and try other dishes and improve the rating if possible.

Marcello, offers excellent cuisine and attaches great importance to the quality of the ingredients. You can tell that he runs his restaurant with a lot of love.

Lovely italian restaurant with authentic delicious food made with passion and soul. We had dinner here in November and loved the atmosphere inside. We balked at the basement setting at first(the restaurant is at the lower level of a hotel). But the decor, the open pizza oven and attention to detail quickly charmed us The owners and staff were welcoming and relaxed. We felt as if all the patrons were long time regulars or family. And so did we soon enough. The food was great. We just wished we had room to try more dishes.

Nice Italian restaurant in the basement. Friendly service, especially Marcello, very attentive, courteous and present. Good food, Tagliatelle alla Norma su crosta di pane with eggplant, mozzarella, ricotta... is highly recommended and is freshly seasoned as desired and served with delicate grated cheese. However, the mixed salad was a disappointment and not worth the name. I don't find the bread in the bag appealing and it wasn't good.

I celebrated my birthday at Assaggio. We had plenty of space and a beautifully prepared table. The food was very good, there are various special dishes. The waiters and the owner are all very polite and accommodating. Is recommended! 👍🏼

Taste of pizza, pasta and meat was great. Unfortunately the food wasn't very warm that evening. Ventilation insufficient! The restaurant is very lovingly designed, even if it's a bit kitschy, but suits the Italian cuisine. The restaurant is in the basement, which gave us a somewhat uneasy feeling.

We had Christmas dinner at Assaggio. It was once again an experience! The food was super delicious and we were also surprised with a “live cooking” of the risotto. The service was friendly and accommodating. An all-round successful celebration! Many thanks to Marcello & the whole team!

I visited the Assaggio restaurant for the first time on October 3rd, 2022. Pumpkin soup, bruschetta and pizza were freshly made and excellent. The service was very friendly and flexible regarding my individual requests, the food came quickly and the bread was also very fresh and homemade. The Asseggio is highly recommended and I will visit it again.

Excellent dinner, nothing to envy of Italian restaurants in Italy. Everything delicious from the pizza to the first courses up to the dessert. Helpful and kind staff. Our 2 year old was welcomed and served with kindness and sweetness. Refined environment, everything very well looked after.

It's a bit hidden, but easily accessible with the navigation system. The pizzas were very tasty and the service was nice. cool atmosphere with rustic decoration and spices. There were six of us and we reserved in advance. We also liked the clean toilets with towels.

Once again we were able to enjoy an excellent meal. We were warmly greeted by Marcello and his team and escorted to our place. Our culinary journey began with Prosecco and a Sinfonia di Antipasti Terra e Mare. A large selection of the finest starters of smoked salmon, vitello tonnato, bruschetta & pane all'aglio, fish soup, frittata, cold cuts and delicious parmesan and, last but not least, prosciutto di Parma e burrata. Just a dream. As expected, our main course was a delight, Tagliata Ribeye Steak, medium rare, as ordered, and Spaghetti Siciliana, the pasta al dente with a very harmonious sauce with delicate calamari. Definitely our new favorite Italian in the region. Marcello took over the restaurant at the beginning of May and you can feel his passion and taste in every moment you spend at Ristorante Assagio. Neither the location (directly on the busy main road from Pfäffikon SZ to Schindellegi) nor the building are inviting, but both the terrace and the dining room are furnished with so much taste that you can forget everything around you and immerse yourself in Bella Italia. The cuisine is authentic, fresh and everything is homemade from A to Z. The bread is served warm with a cherry stone bag, so that it is still warm and super tasty even after several minutes. There is also a “taste” of the wonderful crispy pizza dough with a little herb salt and olive oil. A poem. The beef carpaccio was tasted and served at the table by the friendly host, a feast for the eyes and palate with an additional show. The June monthly menu takes you to Sicily and we enjoyed a wonderful Zuppetta di moscardini (pulpo in tomato ragout). A taste explosion. The main courses continued the high level. Homemade spaghetti with Vongole and grilled Gamberoni (we've never had it so good in Switzerland) with sensationally seasoned leaf spinach. The dessert is the crowning finale. Canolo and homemade tartufo... worth every sin. Marcello and the waiter were both so warm and always with a smile on their faces, you felt welcome and like you were with friends. Thank you for the wonderful evening.

The Assaggio has had a new host since May 1st. He introduced himself to us personally. The service was top notch and the food and wine were a delight. Everything was just right. Last night was really fantastic at the Italian restaurant Assaggio! We were three adults and four children and we were all more than satisfied, excited and feeling happy after the delicious dinner! The wine that we received as a recommendation from the restaurant owner was sensational. The service was very friendly, attentive and you could say "they carried us on their hands". Amazing Italian restaurant! We were looking for something good to eat in the area and the menu looked interesting and reasonably priced. We also found out that they recently are under new management as of May 1st. The food was absolutely too notch - we ordered squid ink seafood pasta, the steak, a white pizza, a gnocchi and a tagliatelle - all tasted amazing. I’ll definitely bookmark this place for next time!

Fantastic and superlative experience in this new opening, we would never have expected such high quality and such organization after only a few weeks of opening. I don't know where this restaurant will go, but it deserves a lot of praise. Above average cuisine, friendly staff, they always welcome you and serve you with a smile. I couldn't find a flaw in our experience in this restaurant, compliments to the owner of the restaurant who has put together a perfect machine. Was spontaneously at Assaggio last week. I saw by chance that a new host will be running the restaurant from May 1, 2022. I found the reception to be very warm and accommodating. I find the menu to be very clear and well thought out. I could hardly decide on one because of all the fine dishes. The starter, main course and dessert were all really delicious and you can't fault anything. I will come back. Equally suitable for larger groups but also for two people in a pleasant atmosphere.

Exceptional!!!! We tried the new management of this restaurant a few days after it opened and I must say everything was excellent. Very beautiful furnishings with attention to detail, spectacular staff led by the super Marcello and divine cuisine.... Sicilian caponata, pasta with broccoli and sausage, old Romagna style prawns, meat with mushrooms (there were 4 of us and I tasted a bit of everything) I'm really torn in judging which dish is better. Really perfect....instead of going back I should get a subscription......BRAVI
