A calm, pleasant and intimate atmosphere. The staff is friendly, smiling, good advice and attentive. I spent my birthday evening there with family and they were kind enough to prepare me a surprise dessert for the occasion, I really appreciated this little nod. The dishes were excellent, the cooking perfect and the wine magnificent! A wonderful memory that we will not fail to repeat. In addition, the decoration is sober, but warm, which makes the climate very pleasant. I highly recommend!

Simply an experience 🤩 For the eye and of course also for the palate. We were welcomed very warmly and friendly and accompanied to the Tosch. The restaurant is beautiful, very stylishly furnished with great attention to detail. The card is slim and simply designed, which I always find very positive. We decided on the 4-course meal, which was well explained in advance. Very nicely prepared, pleasant portions. It tasted fantastic. I find value for money to be very reasonable. I can only warmly recommend the restaurant.

I was able to celebrate my birthday in the Salzhaus. The attentive service noticed this and I was surprised with a special plate. This is hospitality. Many thanks to the whole team for this lovely evening and the excellent food.

Delicious Asian fusion restaurant on the banks of the River Aare. The outdoor cafe area was delightful mid august and the menu and view wonderful. A feast for the eyes and palate. Photos unfiltered.

The pork crust roast was very tasty, but the portions could have been a little larger 😉 Service was super friendly and the location on the Aare on a summer day anyway.

We have found a new favorite restaurant! Service, food, ambience - everything was great! It doesn't get any better than this. The quality is unique and the price-performance ratio is unbeatable. Many thanks to the whole team, we had a wonderful evening. In this restaurant they also know what lactose intolerance means and implement it consistently. I have rarely felt so comfortable eating out.

Great service who explained the menu perfectly to us and gave us a good laugh. The ambience is simply wonderful, because the view of Solothurn and the Aare is phenomenal. The cucumber soup was super refreshing, the prawns were perfectly fried and the meat was great. The influences of Asian cuisine are really interesting and give each dish its own individual touch. But the best thing was the fruity ice cream that was served for dessert.

As French-speaking people, a very friendly welcome, our sommelier was in an excellent mood, pleasant and very efficient Succulent meal and dessert. Recommended as a stopover during the Bienne Solothurn cruise. 👍

We were there in July and were able to sit outside on the terrace directly on the Aare. The food was excellent, the service was prompt and very friendly. Special requests were gladly accommodated. The wine recommendation was very competent. We would like to come again.

Poor service and poor German and didn't know your 4-course menu selection, so bad service that they ignore you so you leave so that other guests can simply occupy tables where they pay more.

Rather disappointing, we had something light for lunch. The burrata was more of a burratina, so the name on the menu is rather misleading and incorrect. The potatoes were unseasoned and boring. Even for a small dish, you can definitely expect more at 13 points.

We were invited here and were surprised by the excellent food. We had the 3 course menu including wine accompaniment. The evening turned out to be a very special evening. Thank you also for the fast, very friendly service. Everything simply fit. It's fine dining, but really worth the price.

A wonderful evening in the salt house. There were 8 of us there and despite the fact that the restaurant was busy, the service was quick and extremely friendly. The food was very good and the portions were just right. All in all a great price/performance ratio. We'd love to come back.

Excellent restaurant. The service is very attentive, kind and competent: from the welcome at the entrance to the moment of leaving the place. The quality of the dishes is of superior quality, even for the vegetarian menus. The paper is limited, but that's fine. The price for the menus offered for lunch is, when compared to the quality, very interesting. The environment is very nice and pleasant. Absolutely recommended.

Superfine and creative delicacies are available here, served by a very friendly crew. And then of course the priceless location on the beautiful, green Aare in the mild light of spring. You definitely shouldn't miss it if you're in Solothurn again...

Great ambience, friendly service and fine food 🤠

The salt house is always worth a visit. If you want to eat there, you should reserve in advance. Otherwise, you can also spend a cozy evening with one (or two) cocktails and a few snacks.

The food was alot of Bread and abit of meat. The dish was Very nice decorated to make feel that you had something good. I could say that I could eat bread at home

A really great location! The tables are set up great and we were really impressed by the ambience. What I had to complain about was the dirty/crumbly bench - that disgusts me. Some of the "hip" cutlery was on the table, although we (in our early 30s) didn't know what it was for... The menu is very small, but that's not a bad thing - it suited us. The rather high prices in the end might be a little less... However, what was served was delicious. But the portions are rather small. Normally I walk out of a restaurant feeling completely rounded :-D That wasn't the case here, even after 3 courses. Great to try out, but we probably wouldn't come back again.

We had our company event in the Salzhaus. I only knew about it through “positive recommendations” from friends and therefore had high expectations. The atmosphere was cozy, the service was very attentive at the beginning, then it slowed down a bit due to the busy restaurant, the food was okay (I didn't like a few things, but that's a personal feeling). I thought it was a shame that the coffee didn't come until we had our dessert had already eaten.

Very fine food and friendly staff. Reservations are recommended. The only thing that bothered us that evening was the flower seller who disturbed us while we were eating. If I want to give a flower to my loved one, I go to the flower shop. Nothing that I can do quickly during a delicious 5-course meal.

I was there for dinner today. I am not vaccinated and wanted to eat outside. They said they don't serve outside! It was sunny outside! I will NEVER go to this em restaurant!

They prepared a wonderful 3 course vegan dinner for us. A 4th vegan course (desert) was also possible, but we were already full.

I am very disappointed! My guest from Munich and I wanted to eat something at a table outside this evening and enjoy the evening outdoors by the Aare. But there was no food service outside and we were also not allowed to take our food outside ourselves. The restaurant was empty and we would have been the only guests inside and outside. I can't recommend this place with the best will in the world, but maybe I can make sure that others don't have to embarrass themselves in front of their guests.

Very beautiful "brewery" combining old and modern. Excellent welcome. Inventive menu card. Delicious meal! Special thanks to the young waiter Roger, a magnificent complement to the joy of this meal. Well done to the team!

My daughter and I treated ourselves to the four-course vegetarian menu on the Japanese evening (Thursday). We really enjoyed the evening - everything - from the amuse bouche to the dessert - was delicious and prepared with great attention to detail. We were treated courteously and very friendly. The fan we were given as a gift was a very welcome gesture given the tropical temperatures at ten in the evening.

There is a menu with a choice of 2-4 courses and we asked if it was possible to have this vegan and gluten-free, which was absolutely no problem and it was very tasty. The menu was well coordinated, beautifully presented, portions were a bit lean, I didn't feel full. Don't go there with cravings, it's the experience that counts. Wine selection large, but somewhat in the upper price range. If you want to stay a little longer, it's better to book a second session. All in all great and recommended!

Great, special location directly on the Aare in beautiful Solothurn. Very modern yet cozy, with wonderful lighting and comfortable seating. But as beautiful as it is, that's actually just the outside of it. The service is excellent: friendly and attentive, responsive and quick - simply great. And the best thing of all - the real main thing - is that this striking quality is fully reflected in the kitchen. The food served (and also the drinks), from the greetings from the kitchen to the dessert, were simply a delight for the eyes and the palate. We had a really great evening here in a really good house. The prices here are certainly in the upper segment, but the quality of the materials used, the creativity in putting together the menus and the beautiful ambience are really worth the prices. Clear recommendation for stylish enjoyment.

Absolutely laughable, price performance is for nothing... Fr. 48.- for a bit of meat, 2 asparagus, a few peas, 2 something... You're taking money from the living... It's a shame, the furniture and rooms look great.

In contrast to our last visit, the service this time was great. The beef tartare that we had as a starter and the beef fillet that we had as the main dish were also very tasty, although I'm not a big fan of fusion cuisine. This time it went very well.

Great location. For lunch I ordered a spinach quiche. When the plate was served I thought it was a greeting from the kitchen. Approx. 4.5 cm diameter for Fr. 15. I find it extreme.

Optimal! I tried fish scallops on a bed of leek, celery and onion with a spectacular sauce. Second course, a very soft and very tasty fillet, neither raw nor overcooked. Advised!
