Hearty restaurant. We were only there to drink coffee, but (luckily) took an almond or nut stick with it. It was super fresh and better than any Beck I know. I'll go there again, maybe for lunch or night.

We discovered the Baumgärtli quite by chance; it can be reached on a narrow side road, about 1 kilometer from Immensee. The location directly on Lake Zug is fantastic, with a large garden terrace, and the service is very friendly. We "only" tried the desserts, which were excellent, but the menu also looks tempting. Given the location, a good price/performance ratio.

Great place to spend a couple of hours on a sunny day, sitting on the Terrace and enjoying eating a coupe or drinking a coffee. THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY and helpful 👍.

Nice view, only ordered cola, still very friendly service, we'll come back for dinner. Now we had dinner twice, once with 5P then 2P. Both times it was very good. Service from the boss. Great schnitzel from the Swiss butcher. Anyone who reserves gets the tables by the lake

You have to know how to get there or that this beautiful restaurant is there. The view over the lake towards Walchwil and Arth, also to Rigi, is simply fantastically beautiful. It's simple but with ❤️ The menu is clear and our food was really very good. Very nice staff, we felt really comfortable and would love to come back 🫶 I can't rate the room. According to information, these are often used by hikers etc. The equipment is rather simple.

Nice restaurant for excursions, especially in the summer season. The garden terrace is hard to beat, quiet and located directly on the lake near the boat dock. Also ideally accessible by bike and there are plenty of parking spaces. We only ate a large vermicelle, so no review of the food.

We were 14 people with a reservation. We had the aperitif outside when the weather was good, and then the food and dessert inside because of the temperature. We were pampered from A to Z. Florian has his job completely under control. The kitchen also delivers top-notch work! Better is hardly possible. Thank you very much !!!

Actually almost hidden, you first have to find the “Baumgärtli”. The narrow street, which only has a few places to cross, leads to the small parking lot in front of the restaurant. The neighboring public parking spaces were all occupied, mostly with campers. We sat outside in wonderful weather and had a beautiful view of the lake. The menu offers simple classics such as: E.g. Cordon Bleu or crispy fish, but also other dishes. The restaurant was very full around 7 p.m. and service with 2-3 people was only available after long waiting times. We were nevertheless served in a friendly manner. The food was good. The portions normal. The upper prices for main courses were around 32 euros, which was OK for the premium location. If the weather is good, you should have a reservation and come as early as possible.

Beautiful restaurant right on the lake with a sensational view of Arth and the mountains. The slide was very welcome with the kids. Food was excellent. Sometimes the price was a bit high for the quantity received and unfortunately there was a bit of a lack of staff, so we had to wait a little long for payment. But the service did its best and did an excellent job.

nice place, remote but right on Lake Zug. The service was great, very friendly and accommodating. We had made a reservation for Sunday the day before, and when we arrived we discovered a notice board at the entrance that only paid in cash - unfortunately no one informed us beforehand, which we found to be a shame. The family then had to scrape together cash; nowadays people tend to pay cashless. Otherwise the food was very tasty, for me personally the portion (Cordon Bleu) could have been larger, and the plate decoration and sideboard also had potential for further development. There are parking spaces in front of the restaurant, but not too many, but there are public parking spaces nearby for a fee/parking meter.

It's always an experience to come to this idyllic place. A very big compliment to the service employee Florian for his friendliness! We would like to come back soon. It was soooo beautiful!

Venue doesn’t accept payment by card, not even twint. This is indicated in German only. There is also no ATM nearby, so our group ended up going somewhere else.

This restaurant is simply in a fantastic location. The food is very good and the staff is very attentive and friendly even at peak times. I can't reveal anything about the rooms as we only frequent the restaurant. But I think you can definitely get a very restful sleep there. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to the baumgärtli

A visit that's worth it. For many years now, when the weather is sunny, we have enjoyed the quiet atmosphere for a (usually quite long) lunch. The quiet location is simply fantastic and conveys a touch of Ticino flair.

Sailed there from Zug with the Pedal Board and had a very nice lunch there with very friendly service. We did not use the hotel.

Always a hike for a relaxing stopover, perhaps longer, before I can then relax in the dense adjacent forest or a swim in the unfortunately not refreshing Lake Zug.

The fish crispies were absolutely top 👌 and the mixed salad is very fine. The young staff is smart and very nice. You can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience.

A wonderful stay at the Baumgärtli restaurant. Quietly located and out of the way, it is a great place to have a quiet and leisurely lunch. Fine menus and large selection. Salad is fresh and the Eglichnusperli were also great and very generous portions. ☺️I'd love to go again. The restaurant is closed from November to March!

Great restaurant with a very nice terrace and located right on the lake. Have been there several times and the staff have always been very friendly, accommodating and unobtrusive. Food was great, always very good. But: even if the location and the cuisine justify a certain price (which I'm happy to pay) -> 18.50 for the mushroom pancake starter, consisting of 6 baby mushrooms from a jar and maybe 75ml herb butter, is already hefty. The explanation that the "lots of herb butter" drives up the price doesn't make it any better... 🙈 Still happy to go again, but then with a starter salad - it's really good and the price/performance ratio is definitely right 😉
