We had very kind people serving us! A great experience unlike the stuck up place below the restaurant! The manager there was extremely rude to a lot of the guests! (This is nothing new unfortunaly,last summer we were there and did not even get served)Do yourself a favor and go to Bergrestaurant Eggli instead;) keep up the good vibes please:)

Up on the mountain at Gstaad, has the best views and the best food I've tasted so far in switzerland. They have amazing Lentil soup and Hummus. It was very warm and cozy, the place. The atmosphere was pleasant and calm and has a soothing effect. It is slightly on the expensive side but the food was delicious and we kept ordering more and more. The staff were very sensible and too kind and helpful. We couldn't stay long because we were in a hurry but out experience was very good. I would strongly recommend this to people who visit Gstaad.

The service was pretty poor. Way too busy for the amount of staff. Not very flexible staff either. Take it or leave it attitude. Food was terrible. Everyone felt sick. One person even had food poisoning.

We were in the lounge. Food was very good. The service was actually very friendly, even without any knowledge of German. Well it's a nice place and the food was good but the wait just to receive the card! Half an hour then waiting for the meal means you lose a lot of time. And the quantities of food are aimed more at women in search of a diet than at a hungry skier! An operation therefore to be revised.

We had a wonderful and unforgettable day on the Eggli! The service was very courteous (a Greek gentleman about 50), beef tartare, cheese fondue, champagne and wine were excellent and all with a fantastic view!

On the occasion of the technical cable car conference in Gstaad, we were allowed to be pampered by the Eggli team for an evening in private. We wanted to eat something small at Eggli. The terrace looks cold and uncomfortable. Yesterday there was even a closed society??????? Since the tarte flambée was no longer available, we decided on a small goulash soup. The meat was not tender. And that for 21.00 francs. The waiter didn't even ask if it was good. Very unfortunate. Everything is very impersonal, overpriced and no charm at all!

This is a snack stand on a snowcat, you could also say a food snowcat. A super cool idea. The view at the top of the Eggli is amazing and the warm February sun invites you to sunbathe. It was great.

Put your skis on the side and take a seat on the sunny terrace under a warm, clean wool blanket. With my stomach still a little full from breakfast, I “just” ordered the soup of the day. A mushroom soup with cream. The very friendly waiter brought our drinks and we glanced at our neighbors, whose tables were piled high with delicious burgers, French fries and salads. Are we doing well enough with our soup? The personable, experienced waiter brought our soup. The first spoonful immediately disappeared into my now hungry mouth. Mmmmmmmmm, F A N T A S T I C H!!! I have already traveled to a large part of our world and know its enchanting culinary varieties. But something as delicious as this mushroom soup made with simple but fresh ingredients? BRAVO to the kitchen. As an avid mushroom picker and not averse to cooking, I am aware of this simple but great achievement. Keep it up! A magical terrace. The staff is super nice, the terrace is large with a panoramic view of the Saanenland mountains. You have to take the cable cars at Eggli Gstaad to get there. And especially book during high season.

First time going to the refurbished restaurant and I do like the modern and renovated look of the place. Definitely needed when looking at all mountain restaurants in the region. On the other hand, we completely lost the aspect of service and warmth. Greeted by a manager that showed great character, I was impressed. As soon as I was confronted to the waiting staff, I lost that appreciation. It seems that the gap between the managers and the staff is too big in terms of client contact. I'd love to see a tighter team. In regards to the food, we both had great starters (tagliolini with lemon and a super winter salad) but then had to wait approx 45 minutes for the mains which arrived cold. It seems the dishes also waited that long to be served. The tartare was underwhelming and the seasoning on the meat ,that seemed to be good on its own, made us lose our appetite. We were ready to share our opinion with the staff but they seemed disinterested so I thought I'd share it here. Pretty long review for a restaurant but that's because it has taken over a restaurant that was full on most days and had an offering appreciated by all so I'd expect to be the same or better. Hope for a better experience next time! ;)
