Restaurant Biselli in Andermatt

We were able to celebrate a birthday with over 30 people. The rest was reserved for us, which of course we thought was great. From the first moment everything was right. The kitchen and service were all ready for a warm welcome. The great food and recommended wine were very much appreciated. It was a really nice day. Many thanks to everyone, we can only recommend you and we will definitely come back.

Great place to have dinner! I recommend the awesome tartar that they make fresh in front of you at the table. One of the best ones I have eaten. Also pannacotta was huge and delicious! Staff was extremely nice and friendly. :)

The burger was soaked at the bottom with the meat juice and the fries were soggy and not worth the price. When I picked up the burger it fell apart. Tomato was swimming in sauce. Tarte flambée was good but expensive. I bet I could make burgers better.

This place is rubbish. We had a confirmed booking which they didn’t honour because of the private event. They didn’t bother to cancel our reservation or inform us. Don’t go there. There are lots of nicer places in Andermatt

We regularly go to Biselli for lunch. I usually choose the lunch menu (starter, main course, coffee). The dishes are very tasty and the portion sizes are very generous.

Tastefully furnished restaurant with a very nice ambience in the Andermatt Reuss district. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was very good, the price itself was reasonable for the location, but the price-performance ratio is a bit too high, which leads me to give it 4 stars. We ate at Biselli the last evening we were in Andermatt and wished we had tried it earlier. The service was amazing, all the staff were extremely friendly. One thing I would like to mention is that not only did serve free tap water, the host actually offered before we asked, this was a pleasant surprise. The table came with bread with a delicious pesto/garlic butter and we were offered a complementary appetizer, some sort of egg on toast creation, it was nice. For the main, we had the pan-fried monk fish and the veal steak. While extremely delicious, we felt the entres were light on side dishes. The portion of fish/veal was good but light on potato/veg. For dessert, we had the chocolate mousse and the blueberry mousse tart. They were amazing. I would have loved to try the three course wine pairing but we were exhausted from skiing and it wouldn’t have been fully appreciated.

A fantastic family dinner once again. Food was delicious and staff were friendly and helpful as always.

This is a very good resturant. I didn't notice how good it is till I came one day by chance to have a breakfast. Staff was very friendly and service was done in a timely manner. I came with my family for a breakfast, chef was very kind to accept our requests for changing slightly the courses to suit us.. Everyone was very polite and really made us feel comfortable and enjoying our meals.. I started to come their daily for a breakfast.. Food was tasty and really good, tables were very clean and in general, restaurant was very kid friendly... I recommend to visit if you pass by andermatt for any reason...

I visited the bakery side and loved the ice cream the low rating is due to customer service I wanted to heat my almond croissants and suddenly I heard shouting No this will not be heated No we will not heat it.. There might be a reason for not heating it but why the shouting and embarrassing the client from a lady that seemed to be in charge of the place.. she even told the waitress to focus on the other client while i was standing there! the waitresses were much sweeter one of them helped my find a picnic spot.. the coffee is average

This restaurant is situated in the newly established part of Andermatt with hotels and stores outside of the village. I am personally not a friend of such artificial and touristy buildings that resemble each other wherever you are, hence the ambience wasn't that great for me. The restaurant itself was okay but nothing exceptional. Maybe due to Corona, the menu was rather limited. The dishes were rather small, my fish and chips were just sufficient, the burgers were not so great. Overall, I didn't find the value for the price but this is to be expected in such a tourist place I guess.

Während eines Kurzaufenthalts im Raddison Blu in Andermatt entschieden wir uns für ein Abendessen im Restaurant Biselli. Dieses befindet sich im zum Hotel gehörenden Resort, so dass wir als dessen Gäste einen nur sehr kurzen Fussweg auf uns nehmen mussten. Im tosenden, eiskalten Regen war das natürlich sehr praktisch. Wir haben das feine Essen, den freundlichen Service und die schicke Atmosphäre sehr genossen. Herausgestochen sind die Kalbsinvoltini mit Balsamico-Reduktion auf Saffran-Risotto, die ganze Kombination war einfach perfekt. Auf ähnlich hohem Niveau war für uns die sehr leckere und mit viel Leidenschaft zubereitete Wild-Terrine. Das sehr zarte Hirschfilet wäre mit ein bisschen weniger Salz ausgekommen, als ganzes war das Gericht dennoch ein Genuss. Einzig beim bunten Salat, bestehend aus Salatblättern, Kabis und Cherrytomaten für doch 12 Franken, würden wir in Zukunft nicht mehr zugreifen. Davon abgesehen fanden wir die Preise überaus angemessen für die Qualität und Grösse der Speisen. Ebenfalls einen kleinen Abzug gibt es dafür, dass uns die Flasche Wein zwar hingestellt, erst aber 10 Minuten später geöffnet wurde, trotz Nachfrage - das dürfte nicht passieren. Es blieb aber bei diesem einen Fauxpas, der restliche Service war makellos, weshalb wir gerne darüber hinwegsehen. Insgesamt können wir ein Dinner im Biselli sehr empfehlen und werden auch selbst gerne wieder vorbeikommen!

Wir waren nachdem wir in unserem Hotel vom Abendessen enttäuscht wurden am nächsten Abend im Restaurant Biselli zu Gast. Das Essen ist frisch, sehr lecker und die Preis/Leistung stimmt, auch der Service ist zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Gerichte waren alle ausgezeichnet und die hausgemachten Desserts köstlich. Gerne wieder!
