Restaurant Bistro am Tych in Zofingen

Based on the pictures on the website alone, I would have preferred to stay away from the Bistro am Tych. But I was invited to brunch. “Specializing in brunch,” it says on the bistro’s website. I don't know which century the owner is stuck in, but I imagine a good brunch to be something completely different. Especially if the store is supposed to specialize in it. The offering was more than modest in terms of variety and quality. Would you like a few examples? There was only a plaited loaf and an inedible sour bread to choose from, the eggs were bought hard-boiled and the salad clearly showed that it was the cheap Prix Garantie brand from Coop. In addition, the ready-made salad dressing was served in the purchased plastic bottle. And the meat and cheese were also arranged on a plastic plate. How appetizing! The whole thing was rounded off by unfriendly service and a number of BSC Young Boys fan items that have no place in a professionally run restaurant or bistro.

This cozy bistro was a real find. Good food, lovely and incredibly warm hostess. What she does with a lot of passion and everything on her own, every day, is unbelievable. Shopping, cooking, entertaining and cleaning. CHAPEAU. Their extensive brunch buffet and mega coupes are legendary. Everything at extremely fair prices. THANK YOU. We always like to come back.

The service couldn't be surpassed in terms of unfriendliness, we only had something to drink and didn't dare order a coupe anymore, which was actually the point of the visit. Definitely never this restaurant again

Nice clean and quiet terrace to sit outside with a lot of sunshine if the weather is nice. Friendly staff etc. You should stop by for a Caffé if nearby, it's worth it

We were there for lunch with a group of around 20 people. After a rich salad plate, which was already enough for some, the Cordon Bleu was served with vegetables and a choice of fries or pasta. Afterwards there was cinnamon star ice cream with cream. In any case, points were deducted for the mineral water, which had been stored somewhere for years and was therefore no longer carbonated. The cinnamon stars also seemed a bit too Christmassy to me and therefore a bit off-season at the beginning of February. The friendly staff apologized for the water and immediately brought other bottles. All in all, a successful meal!

Lucky to have such a neighborhood! The food is always excellent and plentiful. The landlady is very friendly - it's admirable how she runs this "shop" on her own. We always enjoy coming back.

Simply fantastic!!!!! I often eat there with my two (teen) children. The landlady cooks incredibly deliciously and doesn't skimp on the portions! The selection (a weekly, a daily and a monthly menu) and, above all, the prices are unbeatable! So you pay just 15.50 for a starter and main course. Added to this is the landlady's hearty and always generous service, which makes lunch a pleasure. Especially when you imagine that she runs the whole place by herself! A visit will be worth it in any case!

I only consumed one drink here. Was amazed at the extensive menu. The landlady does everything herself and a menu every day! Incredible. It is very friendly and is open every day. Only recommended.
