The best in town! For locals and tourists

Food was well presented, but it was not the fish and chips that I was expecting. The fish was a normal 'paniert ' fish. The fries were good . The saffron pasta was not up to standard, but the quantity was large. My friends had the octopus and were happy with it.

Definitely the best restaurant in the area! Everything is just right here. Fine cuisine from classics to exotic dishes, but still good portions, great drinks, professional service with a relaxed tone and a cozy atmosphere. It's always an experience to be able to eat with you and we're already looking forward to the next visit!

The service staff demonstrated exceptional attention to detail. Friendliness and professionalism were noticeable throughout the entire visit. The staff's recommendations regarding dishes and wines were excellent and helped make the lunch a memorable experience. Now to the highlight of the visit - the food. Well located and quiet area, no parking spaces, you can use the surrounding parking garages. My requirements were far exceeded; the weather allowed us to eat outside at the well-laid tables. Service excellent, boss present and professional. The menu was extensive and inviting, the food deserves more than five stars. The interior is very special and the ambience is inviting. Lovely again.

We happened to walk past this restaurant and decided to dine here because of the extremely good reviews. We got a nice table outside early on a Friday evening from an extremely nice and casual member of staff. Before we ordered there was homemade bread with olives, olive oil and also homemade balsamic vinegar. Even the bread was delicious. We ordered our food from a really friendly lady and were looking forward to the meal. Another employee brought the wine we ordered and gave us some information about our selection... the whole thing was very professional but also really warm! Now came the appetizers... A wild herb salad with avocado cream and pomegranate, as well as a tuna tartare...the tartare was phenomenal not only visually but also in terms of taste (including caviar and lime pearls). For the main course we chose pasta. Once with a tomato sauce and burrata that made your mouth water just looking at it and a tagliatelle with truffles. It's hard to describe how good it tasted. As a hobby chef, you immediately notice that the food here is fresh and with love. We skipped dessert because we were already full (yes, the pasta portions were really big), but the desserts at the next table looked very good! I would like to highlight the great team that enjoys and enjoys their work. As a guest you immediately feel comfortable and welcome. Yes, the fun comes at a price, but it's totally worth it!! When we are in St.Gallen, we would be happy to come back to you! All the best ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very nice restaurant, a stone's throw from the center of St Gallen! The very professional and friendly waiters, the sublime food, I must say that we were very surprised how even a simple tomato and burrata left its mark on us for how delicious it was, but all the dishes had something phenomenal, like the fresh pasta and the Swiss meat that melted in your mouth! At the moment I have to say that these are the best dishes we have eaten in recent years, highly recommended!

totally overpriced... we were a table of 6 and everyone from the restaurant... food was good but there wasn't anything suplemant, even if there was only a few pasta... 1 scoop of ice cream for CHF 8.50 is a cheek!

After visiting many new "hip" restaurants in recent years, I have to say that SAUCERIA has pleasantly surprised me for a long time. The combination of flavors on the plates was fascinating, exciting and a pleasure from the first bite to the last. Price/performance absolutely fair. The staff was friendly and accommodating, but not intrusive. The ambience was warm and seemed unobtrusively elegant. I really liked that I was the third person at the table, sitting in the middle opposite my colleagues. I was very enthusiastic, highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely visit it again.

I can't agree with my previous review. There is plenty of space (almost 2 meters to the next table, dogs behind me didn't bother me at all) on to the next topic; The tuna steak I ordered was perfect fresh from the pan, you can't let it get cold, otherwise it will stall. Service good and friendly, espresso sola. Come again!!
