We were really amazed by the culinary performance. We wouldn't have expected that. Great country inn, everything was fresh and the goat cheese in a crispy coating was particularly fun. The chef knows his craft.

We are absolutely thrilled with the veal cordon bleu!!! The taste was amazing and what was fascinating...there was ZERO fat residue on the plate. Easily doable for a woman without a starter. For a man, we recommend eating an appetizer. This is not meant to be a criticism, but rather well-intentioned advice that will leave everyone satisfied in the end. Great, we look forward to the next visit. The courteous service is also top and very friendly.

We went for a veal 200g steak and a cordon bleu again. My boyfriend's cb was nice apparently, but I was so disappointed in mine that I no longer want to return any time soon. At first, it was so overcooked that it was tough and leathery. For the first time in... ever?.. I returned the food to the kitchen. The next plate came with a steak that was burned on the outside and raw on the inside. Very disappointing, I ended up returning that, too, and eating just the salad around it. I had to pay only for a mixed salad plate, which was the max I would have done anyway. when the server came to tell us he'd adapted the price for my order, he sounded like he was doing me a huge favour. Honestly, after having to send my food back twice, I think they could have given me the salad for free.

The food was freshly prepared, not industrial food or prepared standards from commercial kitchens that are becoming more and more common. I chose the veal Gordonbleu, which I always like to use as a comparison so that I can eat other dishes later. The Gordonbleu was freshly prepared and tasted good. It had plenty of cheese in it, not just a symbolic hint of it. It could have satisfied a bear's hunger and I was teddy bear hungry. I was full and yet I didn't feel unpleasantly full. It was a good fit and I would recommend this restaurant to my friends at any time. The ambience is particularly original vintage, simply rustic and cozy, there are beautiful originals like this restaurant that have not yet been over-renovated. PS, what I found particularly nice was that I was greeted warmly from the kitchen when I walked in the door and that really gave me a feeling of hospitality. Thanks to the kitchen team here afterwards.
