Rosenburg in Bubikon

Reserved for lunch on Easter Monday. The restaurant was closed for a short time due to an accident involving the cook. We were greeted with an Easter basket and a note that they had made reservations for us at another restaurant. That's what I call hospitality in action. We look forward to coming back after the cook has recovered.

We were super happy with the restaurant, the delicious food and the attentive and friendly service. A friendly oasis. Recommended!

A very clean hotel room with nice bed linen and newly renovated bathrooms, nice and uncomplicated reception, food very tasty and beautifully prepared, the service lovingly, no wish remains unfulfilled. The team in the kitchen can do magic, the taste is like a Picasso. Thank you for unforgettable moments and I would love to come back. Hopefully there will be a room available for me then. There were rotten leaves in the salad. The meat tasted rancid, not appetizing, unfriendly staff. Rooms were not cleaned properly

The food is very tasty and really beautifully prepared. It's great what the young team conjures up in the kitchen. The service was attentive and prompt. The rooms are simply furnished, very clean. If we have further training nearby again, we would definitely be happy to come back.

I picked up hotel guests there for the trip to ZH airport. The passengers were very satisfied with the service in the Rosenburg. They were happy that English was also spoken at the reception.

The service was very rude. Unfortunately, with larger groups you cannot ensure that everyone gets their food at the same time. A pity. Food is mediocre in quality. Prices high. I don't recommend it.

I celebrated my 40th with a fine game dinner. The dishes came very colorful and were super delicious! The chef knows his craft. At the end there was a brilliant dessert and a serenade from the nice and very attentive service. Price/performance is 100% right here. Our stay was great. You had the feeling that you had known each other for a very long time. The entire staff is super friendly and attentive. We laughed a lot with Kim. And then the food! Well-kept restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Small, balanced menu with selected wines at reasonable prices. Even the amuse bouche as a greeting from the kitchen gave an idea that people cook here with joy and passion. The food is fresh and delicious, perfectly prepared and presented. Had horse entrécôte and chicken, both very delicately and lovingly prepared. Extremely friendly and customer-conscious service. Conclusion: everything is really right here and we would love to come back!

We arrived from overseas, in need of 3 weeks accommodation. The owners of Hotel Rosenburg gave us a great deal, their friendly approach made us feel very welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this lovely hotel, our room so comfortable and well appointed, and the access to the Restaurant with a great menu such an enjoyable experience. We’ll be back for sure. Hotel-Restaurant Rosenburg is highly recommendable for the gastro experience and the practical accommodation next door. A big thank you to Team Rosenburg.

Kim and the Rosenburg team do everything right - the friendly service and very good cuisine are a highlight! The menu is manageable and offers a good selection with lots of fresh, home-made ingredients. Be sure to pay attention to ‘recommendations from the house’! We were with you on Monday evening and we had a lovely meal. Despite the full terrace and guests in the restaurant and reduced staff, the service was great. Friendly and well-positioned 😊 and the nightcap offered was super nice. Thank you and see you another time.

Very warm welcome. The service was very friendly and the food was extremely good. I find the price-performance ratio to be appropriate, as does the menu, which contains an appropriate and varied selection of dishes. I can recommend this restaurant to everyone and would come back here in a heartbeat. A visit is definitely worth it.

The 4 of us had a wonderful evening. The waitress Kim gave us very competent advice and entertained us in every respect. The food comes like a colorful picture painted on the plates. Not to be forgotten was the dessert plate and the liquor case on wheels. If you want to spend a nice evening, it's best to come here. Point

We discovered the restaurant a few days ago. The new tenants took over in March 2022 and have brought this business back to life. Very casual, competent service, beautifully presented traditional dishes with changing weekly recommendations, cocktails and an excellent wine list...highly recommended! Today we spontaneously went to the Rosenburg for dinner. We were impressed by the friendly service and the excellent food at “normal” prices. Best price/performance ratio in the region! With Stephan Peter we have a top chef in Wolfhausen who enriches the gastronomy in the Zurich Oberland. Thanks for the great evening to the Rosengarten team. We would be happy to come back. The food wasn't just visually wonderful. Everything was very delicately seasoned and freshly cooked. The pork cheeks and fillet were tender as butter and the jus was simply great. The fish crispy is perfect. Service top. Wine selection very good. Really highly recommended.

We had already eaten in the new Rosenburg a few times. Service was good, friendly but price performance could be better. Unfortunately you don't get enough for the money, there should be good middle-class menus, i.e. Swiss cuisine, such as. Schnitzel pomm. Sausage, cheese, salad, pasta, etc., which is unfortunately missing, simple but inexpensive.

The service is fantastic, extremely friendly and helpful staff. The food is exquisite, unexpected combination to satisfy those who love the best! I am usually a very picky customer but I have been so positively impressed! They start by offering some home-made bread and delicious tomato salsa. There is a “greeting from the kitchen” a vegetarian little something👍🏻 , the main meal was simply fantastic! We live quite close and I am sure now this will be our favourite place to dine.

Zum ersten Mal über Mittag in diesem Lokal eingekehrt... Eine Katastrophe an Service.Die Bedienung von Anfang zu komischen Humor aufgelegt, was schon mit einem Kommentar zu einer Kollegin angefangen hatte ("die kann nicht platzieren, nur kochen").Da wir mit einem viermonatigen Baby da waren, wollte es natürlich mitessen. Leider gab es nichts, was passen wollte, also bekam es dir Serviette zum spielen, was die Bedienung zum Ausspruch veranlasste: "Sie Rabenmutter." Wahrscheinlich sollte das witzig sein, aber wir finden so einen Spruch total daneben. Keiner Mutter sagt man sowas, vor allem nicht im Service. Beim Zahlen machte ich diese Bedienung auf diesen Umstand aufmerksam, was mit einem "jaja, das werde ich knapp verkraften." quittiert wurde. Entschuldigung: keine!Danach wollte ich der Chefin dies telefonisch mitteilen. Diese unterbrach mich mit dem Kommentar, dass das Restaurant ab dem 13.12.2019 sowieso geschlossen sei, da sie keine Lust mehr hätten. Entschuldigung: keine!Wir hoffen mit dem Kommentar allen geholfen zu haben, welche eventuell Referenzen einholen, falls diese Betreiberin einen anderen Betrieb eröffnet.Zum Schluss das Gute: das Essen schmeckte wirklich gut.

Gleich 2 x bin ich in der Rosenburg. Am Freitag mit Freunden und am Folgemontag mit dem Gewerbeverein. Wie immer herzlich empfangen von der Gastgeberin Nicole. Die Tische sind schön und mit Liebe aufgedeckt. Die Speisen und der Wein einfach hervorragend. Speziell der garnierte Blattsalat und die Wildgerichte eine Empfehlung. Herzlichen Dank für zwei schöne, gemütliche Abende.

Auf unserer Wanderung von Grüningen nach Kempraten lunchten 28 verregnete und somit hungrige Seniorenturner in der Rosenburg. Alle waren wir froh, ein trockenes Plätzchen gefunden zu haben. Dieser von aussen unscheinbare Betrieb hinterliess bei uns allen einen ausgezeichneten Eindruck. Das von unserem Reiseleiter vorbestellte Menü bestand aus einer Spargelsuppe, einem Menüsalat und als Hauptgang ein Rinds-Stroganoff mit Reis. Alles war perfekt gekocht, und dies zum absolut fairen Preis von Fr. 25.- pro Person. Die Servicemitarbeiterinnen waren freundlich und aufmerksam, dies obwohl das Restaurant sehr gut besetzt war. Was die Tranksame anbelangt, hatte ich nur positives Feedback. Nach dem Essen kam der Chef an den Tisch und fragte, ob alles in Ordnung war. Vielleicht ein alter Zopf, aber das zeigt mir Nähe zum Gast. Die Rosenburg kann ich mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren zu dritt Abendessen in diesem Restaurant. Für uns war es von Anfang bis zum Schluss ein gemütlicher und gelungener Abend. Dazu beigetragen hat die freundliche Bedienung und das einfache aber sehr gute Essen. Für mich persönlich passt es traditionelle Küche toll präsentiert und schmackhaft. Am Schluss hat uns die Chefin noch mit einem freundlichen Gespräche ein gutes willkommenes Gefühl übermittelt. Bravo und Danke.Kommen sicher wieder

Von aussen sieht die Liegenschaft einfach aus, aber die Innengestaltung ist sehr ansprechend und der Service äusserst freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir haben zwar ‚nur‘ eine Tagessuppe und einen Caesarsalat gegessen, waren aber rundum zufrieden;-)

Mit Vereinskollegen zum Nachtessen mit anschliessendem Kegeln. Verschiedene Gerichte wurden bestellt. Ich habe mich der Wildkarte hingegeben und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Als Einstieg ein Nüsslisalat und dann ein ausgezeichnetes Rehgeschnetzeltes mit Wildbeilage. Auch die Kollegen waren voll des Lobs.

Ich kenne leider nur wenige Restaurants, wo der Service und die Küche meinen Erwartungen entsprechen. Umso mehr freue ich mich ein weiteres Restaurant in meine Liste aufzunehmen. Sehr nette, unkomplizierte Bedienung und sehr leckeres Essen. Die Weinauswahl war etwas knapp und einige auch nicht mehr verfügbar, dafür konnten wir 1-2 vor der Wahl probieren. Alles in allem ein schöner Abend. Sehr gerne wieder!

Attractive decor and friendly staff but service was a bit casual. Our wine was served promptly but we had to ask twice for a jug of water. The wild boar was tough and they knew it since we left most of it on our plates. Starters were generous, imaginative and delicious.
