Yesterday Saturday we ordered a Chateaubriand for ourselves. What we were served was like something from another planet! It was just fantastic. From the meat to the vegetables and the pasta and the fried croquettes to the sauces - simply GREAT! I'm not exaggerating when I say here and now: I'VE NEVER HAD A CHATEAUBRIAND THAT TASTY!! - Unfortunately there are no more stars to give out; she really deserved the WHOLE EMPLOYEES -- - Still an excellent restaurant where EVERYTHING IS RIGHT!

I came across the Blumenfeld restaurant via Google with the search term “roast beef fries” 😄 A real “neighborhood pub” in a pleasant environment. Thanks to the nice weather we were able to sit outside and luckily found one last free table. A reservation is recommended here. After briefly consulting the menu, Wit ordered twice the desired roast beef with fries. The service was very friendly and personal, as you would expect in a restaurant like this! We had to wait about 30 minutes. waiting for our food but we were kindly told that a banquet was just being served; everything in a good frame. However, the roasa roast beef and the delicious fries made this immediately forgotten 😉 really nice and, at CHF 25.00, also reasonably priced. The portion is big enough. We were in the flower field for the first but probably not the last time 😋 we would be happy to go back and so far we can only recommend it!
