Restaurant Bodan in Romanshorn

You can't even call it a non-smoking area. Every time the sliding door opened in the smoking lounge, the smoke came out. In fact, my clothes smelled very strongly after my visit to Bodan. The menu was very varied but the waiter wasn't around often, so only one salad was consumed. The restaurant is rather cool and minimalist, but the smoking area is very stylish. Smokers are in good hands here, non-smokers are not.

Just wanted to go for a drink. Looks really cozy and inviting. Unfortunately, even in the non-smoking area of ​​the lounge/bar, there was such a strong smell of smoke that we left straight away. The door doesn't seem to be really tight despite the new building. Unfortunately we won't come back until something has been optimized.

The staff was friendly and the latte macchiato was very good. The dogs were also welcome

So far I have ordered via JustEat. The sushi is freshly made and therefore the delivery time is longer, but the taste and appearance make it worth the experience! Rather expensive in terms of price. But definitely suitable for a special moment! The greeting and handing over of the order could be improved because it could be friendlier.

It looks great, the service is nice and quick. The food wasn't something I would come back for. And above all, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the dining room. As soon as I entered I felt like I was in the smoking room, which is separated but probably not that tight. That's a knockout for me. Criteria. I could only imagine going there in the summer when I can sit outside.

Very comfortably furnished. I think it has a restaurant and a bar/lounge. I've only had a drink there so far. That's why I can't judge the food. But I'll definitely go and eat something there too 👍🏼

Very elegant restaurant, a wonderful team

The place is beautiful but burgers are not good. Despote à good meat, the bread is like caoutchouc, half of the ingredients are missing, sauce are not good.

This was the first time and I wasn't disappointed. Had salad, beef tenderloin, wine, dessert. Everything was very tasty and beautifully prepared. Very satisfied with service. With a beautiful smoking lounge, a great addition to Romanshorn. I'll be back.

Unfortunately the pizza was just average. I've had better pizza at a kebab around the corner. It's a shame, I was hoping that the Bodan would be better, but maybe sometimes less is more, especially when it comes to the taste quality of the food. But the service was top and friendly

I had dinner in the restaurant and the food tasted great. The menu is very varied and there are many different ways to satisfy your hunger. I felt very comfortable with the staff. I will definitely come again!

Unfortunately, the smoke from the smoking room goes everywhere and you have to walk past the smell at the entrance. Otherwise fine, good, fair. Good service. Nicely decorated. Good dishes. Unfortunately, the toilet is in the stairwell to the underground car park.

Pizza is mediocre. Sushi is good. Service varies greatly. And even after several weeks, the employees charge different prices for a drink. Luckily the friendly Amir and the charming Claudia are still here!

The two of us were there during our lunch break. The menu came 20 minutes later. My colleague's salad (main course) came at least 20 minutes before my main course. I didn't have the food until 35 minutes after ordering. Coordination leaves a lot to be desired. The answer from the waiter was: "You have a big table". There was no apology. Unfortunately a bit disappointing.

A 10 out of 10. I am soooo happy that there is finally a beautiful restaurant here in Romanshorn with outstandingly good and very high quality food. The buns are great (try the creamy bun) and I get my salmon sashimi about 5 times a week. The team is great and I will remain a loyal customer (from day 1) Kind regards, Neva

The ambience is really great with a lot of love and attention to detail. the staff is super nice, friendly and have a smile on their face when greeting you. You really feel comfortable. Now about the food: we had a pizza. Basically the taste was great but unfortunately the dough wasn't a highlight. The dough was missing the crunch. The ground wasn't particularly crispy either. The rest of the food is of course excluded from my review because I didn't try it. The cocktails, however, were great. There was really nothing wrong with that. Conclusion: basically a nice restaurant. We are curious about the other dishes and will of course come back. Pizza can still be improved.

Overall impression: everything is a bit confusing (the offer in the window screen / internet doesn't match). That's why we didn't eat/order anything there a week before. Went there today for coffee and cake (cheesecake) but it wasn't really fresh and didn't have much taste. For 8.50/piece I expected more and the experience was therefore disappointing.

I felt very comfortable with you in Bodan. The food was very tasty. What I really liked was the humorous and friendly staff. When we received our food, all the staff wished us good luck...I really liked that! Another tip from me would be not to keep the guests waiting too long.

I personally don't find the food on offer that appealing, it's more like random hipster food with no concept: a small selection of pizza, pasta, burgers, bowls (a far cry from the Hawaiian original), California rolls. But the wines by the glass are really deluxe 🍷😋. The service is friendly but not yet well coordinated. I was served quickly but then left high and dry. You should be able to pay quickly near the train station. The interior of the restaurant is very attractively designed. Outside is the train station square and therefore it is loud. There's still room for improvement, I'll give the Bodan another chance later.
