Buffet food was cold (price 22.-) Drink prices for wine are high - 1dl wine 7.-! Tablecloth dirty

40+ minutes of waiting time for food (also happened to another table behind us). Fried rice was pretty good. Pad thai was disappointing, the noodles were wet and all stuck together. Tom yum soup was not spicy at all despite the 3 chili rating - it was also not sour at all, only salty. We were forced to order drinks while we were waiting for our food (it was not communicated that ordering drinks was mandatory, we were only asked during the long waiting time) and prices for drinks were not stated upfront. We ordered water which ended up being 10.50 CHF. It felt like we were taken advantage of, especially as we've already ordered the food and had no choice but to comply. Service lady was pretty friendly though. Overall, it's probably a good idea to go elsewhere. Edit: Responding to the owner's reply: This is the third Thai restaurant we've patronised on our trip, and we have ordered the same way without problems so far. If our order does not make enough money for you, you are free to state that we need to order more at the beginning. It is not ethical to accept our order and turn around afterwards claiming we did not order enough. Additionally, the above comments are independent of our food rating. We did not criticise the food because of how we were treated. Only the fried wonton and fried rice was acceptable. To potential guests: patronise at your own risk.

The service was friendly. The food was authentic and beautifully presented, although expensive. The menus are even more expensive than in the city of Bern, where I live. In addition, almost all of the meat comes from far away countries (e.g. chicken from Thailand). In my regular restaurants in Bern, most of the meat comes from Switzerland. The restaurant doesn't have a drinks menu so you're forced to order something without knowing the prices. In addition to alcoholic drinks, we ordered a carafe of tap water, for which we were then charged 7 francs. I could understand this price if you only ordered tap water with your meal, but if you order anything else, this is a rip-off in my opinion. The price issue is a topic in itself that we haven't even touched on. The highlight was the owner, who was very rude and arrogant towards us. We didn't let it spoil our evening but we will definitely never visit the restaurant again. There are plenty of other excellent restaurants in the area. The owner will probably respond to my review in the same arrogant manner as he has done to other reviews. Or maybe he's having a good day ;-)

Very nice place in the center of Brig. The food is incredible, we loved everything and we’ll come back for sure !!! They also have a playground for kids and in the summer nights you can have your dinner outside. The dishes were tasty and very well decorated.

I've lived in Switzerland for the last 7 months, and have ate out most nights. I have been so surprised by this restaurant, it is my first time here, and can honestly say this is the best meal I have had I'm the entire country. Freshly prepare dishes, with quality ingredients supplemented by delicious wine and the nicest staff. Beautiful outdoor dining area. The establishment is kept impeccably, and is spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend and will probably come back tomorrow!

Great Thai restaurant. The atmosphere is good and the staff is friendly. We had an appetizer platter and absolutely loved it (the fried corn is really tasty). The others' curry was also very good. My friend had fried noodles with vegetables and chicken, which he also liked. A little tip: it should say on the menu that they are rice noodles. I had Pengasius in a soy sauce. It was delicious so far, but you can't eat too much of it because it gets too salty at some point. First of all, very friendly service from a lady, we then had to place our order with the boss. This is Swiss n everyone comes here will order an appetiser and a main course. You hv 4 pax, need more." Was he stereotyping? We felt insulted by such horrible remarks! i can't believe it came from a restaurant associated with Thai food! The tone from the caucasian male boss (already in restaurant photos) was harsh n unfriendly. We hv two seniors of 80+ n they all kn what they can eat. We know the portion size in Switzerland. Sadly, we hv been to Switzerland a couple times but this is the first 'Thai' restaurant in Swiss that speaks to its customer it such a manner, not a service staff but the boss, can demeaning its customers to such extent. Moreover, his face turned black when we didn't ordered any drinks as we were flabbergasted by his attitude. Was there a Swiss mandate for alacarte patrons to hv set meal? Is it a must to hv drinks when we hv already 2 kinds of soups? Why is there a need to generate food waste? Is there a different meaning/expectation of alacarte in this restaurant?? With such bad attitude in service, it is absolutely a NEGATIVE star instead of 1 star! The overall dining experience sucks with such bad service attitude and whatever reputation is out of the window from a Swiss perspective! In terms of the Thai food in Swiss, this is mediocre as we have tasted better ones in Zurich and Visp on this trip. We love thai food but will not step into this restaurant again! Interestingly, there were older reviews about bad experience from the male boss during pre covid days.

It was really great in Sukothai. The service was friendly and very efficient. The menu wasn't too big and was well organized with the specialties at the beginning of the menu. Our food always came very quickly. The quality of the food was great. The duck was very crispy, the chicken was well seasoned. The only downside was that it wasn't as spicy as we're used to. But sharpness is relative ;-) We'll definitely go there again.

This place and its customer service just makes you feel like home! The quality of the food is super (perfect portion size, especially the ratio of meat/veg to the rice) and it’s definitely worth the relatively high prices. First of all we asked the Thai waitress about the drinks menu. She said: oh we don’t have any drinks menu. Later on we asked another swiss waitress , she gave us the drinks menu. We were like shocked cause the first waitress’s attitude is so damn bad.Later on the tap water cost 5 CHF which is very not acceptable because they didn’t even tell us the price and stuff. Normally it charge for like 2-3 but 5 is too redicous. When we ordered , we ordered 2 shiung. SHIUNG is a set of menu for 2 person. After that they only served us 1 SHIUNG. And the main course came after one hour !!! They are literally just sit there and do nothing. The price is very high compare to other restaurant. We have been living in Switzerland for 2 years already , this is the worst and the most unreasonable restaurant that I had ever been !!PLEASE DONT COME !
