We stopped on the way down from skiing to eat something, and were extremely poorly received. The employees were very rude. They literally shouted at us to make us understand that we had to pay at the cash register on the restaurant side because we were eating there. It made absolutely no difference to their organization to raid the fund where we were. She literally threw the goods at me so I could pay elsewhere. I would have been better off leaving with the merchandise without paying for it given the way she treated me!!!

It has many cash registers. The employees chase customers all over the counter. The customer must move according to the wishes of the employees. Long waiting times.

Contrary to few reviews here, I had a very positive experience at this place. Fast and courteous service. Lady explained the options. Convenient location inside the Brig main train station. Quality of the food was above average and prices were very reasonable as well. Overall an A+ experience!

Good range of different baked goods, there is something for every wish. Good little shop, ideal for travel. Small drawback, there are not enough seats and the coffee could be stronger. Friendly and clean, recommended. 12/20/23 Ah, the sandwiches are great, price/quality fully met. Friendly staff.

Price/performance is not there for me. Unfortunately, I have to honestly say that I'm there not because I want to, but rather because there are no alternatives. I find the sandwiches to be below average. Little in it (main ingredient and possible non-existent side dishes) I think the coffee and the bread itself are positive. In my opinion, that's not enough for a positive review because good sandwiches are more important to me

Just had a salami sandwich. This was very dry and had far too little salami in it. There was nothing else in it either, no cucumber, no tomato, nothing... It used to be better...

It will probably be increasingly difficult to find staff who can communicate with you.

It's a shame... although the opening times are until 8:30 p.m., the doors were already closed at 8:25 p.m. Since I was there for a pickup, which I reserved through TooGoodToGo, I drew attention to myself several times. However, these efforts were skillfully and arrogantly ignored by the staff and the manager!

It's a shame that as a paying customer you have to pay CHF 1 for the toilet, that doesn't justify the misuse/the coupons issued. Install a combination lock and provide it upon presentation of the receipt. Goods are sometimes overpriced and for me the price-performance ratio is not always right.

I was only in this BAKERY briefly. If you have TIME and DRINK something in peace it is Ideally located. And it's not far to the TRAIN STATION

Good and large selection of various things. Friendly staff but... If I want a cheese sandwich, I might as well eat a half-dry piece of bread at home. The “cheese sandwich” was only barely covered with sauce on one side and not at all on the other side. There were 2 very thin strips of cheese between them which were hardly noticeable. Unfortunately, this isn't just the case with the cheese sandwich. The only good sandwich is this one with Rousbeef. Even those like Pulet Curry, because they contain sauce that you don't spread on yourself. And you pay way too much for this meager “food”. If I had to pay for the meal with this ratio, I wouldn't pay more than 1.50. It is also sad that dogs are banned, but nothing is offered to tie dogs outside. More than just bad in summary.

Lovely place for coffee and snacks if you're waiting for a train. It has a small convenience store and groceries to purchase as well. The toilets cost 1 Franc but they are very spacious and immaculately clean

Overpriced and incredibly inefficient. In no other store does paying take as long as it does here. This has remained unchanged for years. The staff also seem to suffer from this, they seem stressed and are usually not very friendly, but I can understand that under these conditions. For example, not every cash register has a payment terminal for bank cards and has to be shared. It's cheaper this way, but it leads to even more waiting time for customers and stress for staff.

Unfortunately, the café is cleaned with rags and cleaning buckets while you want to enjoy your strawberry tart and unfortunately there is quite loud, aggressive music. Can the management afford anything because the store is doing well anyway?

Service staff very unfriendly. WC 1.- even though I consumed. Schikengipfeli was probably frozen food from Poland. The orange juice was ok.

Large menu with various drink specialties, which, however, can no longer be prepared after 5:30 p.m. in the evening because a waitress is solely responsible for the restaurant. My suggestion: take the drinks menu off the table after 5:30 p.m. and turn off digital screens with advertising.

Poor quality chocolate is missing in the hot chocolate with coffee as well as in the one with caramel and when asked it is discussed if I want coffee with milk I will order it that way and don't have to pay 6.50 francs for it, never again

There is a suggestion for improvement when it comes to payment: why two cash registers? It prepares the guests and the employees were also not happy. Take away and restaurant could be served equally by both classes!

The only Cafe that open early in the morning near train station. This cafe is from the town nearby any has found its way to many cities in Valais. The Walliser like this cafe. They have seasonal products such as pumpkin bread in autumn. Des Shops Assistent ist kind enough that after bought bakery in the shop and missed the train by thirty seconds, she let me sit and wait for 15 mins in the shop. (The price for eating at the restaurant is about 10% higher than the price in the shop.) They have 5 kinds of eclair and the most varieties of cakes that you can find around here. Personally I find that bread and croissant a little bit too dry. But all of their products are Swiss standard. You also have sockets to work in the cafe. They have home made praline, apricots pie and some sweet you can buy as souvenir.

Maybe the saleswoman got off on the wrong foot. This was a bit unfriendly. It's good that there are other staff there too.

Has the best Valais rye bread with nuts.

In addition to baked goods, there is also a small supermarket here. Actually very practical if you need something on the go quickly. But things have been like that with the Schnell since the renovation. Previously, the grocery department was more clearly separated from the bakery counter and shopping was more efficient. Since the renovation, the checkout appears to have been in the middle of the store. This causes chaos for several guests in the store as no neat queue can form. Update 10/16/22: The chaos has not improved yet.

Really nice train station bakery with fresh sandwiches, salads, and other very good travel-worthy snacks. It contains a small restaurant, so if you have too little time to visit the city centre, but still enough time before your next train connection, definitely grab something here!

I placed an order and was told in a very unfriendly manner that I was alone (there were 2 people) and didn't have time to make a frappe. There were advertisements everywhere.

Nice coffee. The waitress behind the checkout barely understands German and can't do arithmetic either. I had a Coupe-Danmark for 9.90 Sfr., which only had a scoop of vanilla ice cream, which was a disgrace. Unfortunately never again

I used to live in Brig. It’s a small town but I was so grateful that this bakery exists in Brig. Coz the cakes & breads are so good. Especially the burger!! I love the burger so much!! Wish to go back to Brig one day & I’ll eat the burger at Zenhäusern for sure.

When it says "Restaurant" I expect a menu and not a reference to sandwiches... in case of an express appointment in Brig, turn right towards the buffet...

I think the Valais bread and the fruit bread are really good. The service is friendly.

Nice atmosphere, but unfortunately the current employee in the restaurant with few guests is stressed and unfriendly... I like to drink my coffee from the cup and not from the saucer. What also bothers me is that you have to pay directly while sitting at the “bar” without a ticket.

I love the tête de moine sandwich with pears! 😍 Unfortunately, the waiting times in the morning are a real disgrace. I also waited 15 minutes (when I hadn't discovered the self-checkout yet), even at peak times there was only one checkout. The self-checkout would be a good thing, but unfortunately hardly anyone uses it. I think one reason for this is that it is difficult to see next to the coffee machines. There is definitely still potential for improvement here 😉👍🏻

The music in the Tea Room is set too loud. I asked the employee to turn the music down a little. Unfortunately she didn't know how to use the radio.

I had a burger, it looked good, but I had tasted better burgers. The fries were a bit too salty. The staff is very friendly and the prices are also quite reasonable.

I wanted to do some shopping half an hour ago. There were a lot of people in the store but only one saleswoman who couldn't serve 2 customers within 10 minutes. So it doesn't surprise me if people only buy their bread in Coop and Migros.

Super fine fresh sandwiches with a huge selection. The braid is a real treat. The different breads are also very tasty. Don't forget the desserts. It also has a refrigerator with the most necessary groceries and coffee to go. Very nice and competent staff.

Partly with service, partly self-service Drinks and good coffee. Corona concept exists. Very friendly staff. Nice ambience. But be careful ⚠ Swiss prices.😉
