We ate the francesinha, a house specialty (it's the best of all those I've ever tasted) and the beef steak on stone. It was excellent, we enjoyed ourselves. We very much well received by Madame and Monsieur, the owners: 2 charming and friendly people, who love their job and do it very well. I recommend this establishment and I will return there to explore the menu. ******🤩

the service was rude and not welcoming (by getting a discount of 20% through TheFork we also got much smaller portion - fraud basically). and be careful, the carafe of standard water will cost you 5chf (at least they don’t charge you for the air to breath)

Choice of Portuguese menus. The Portuguese cod was excellent. Also the green broth is very good. We were there on a Wednesday night and there were few people. Many tables inside and outside. Good atmosphere and tasteful decoration. The 2-year-old was even given a booklet to draw and occupy himself during the meal. We were only a little surprised to have to pay for the jug of water. Other than that, we really liked it and would highly recommend this Portuguese restaurant.

Our experience at Da Costa Restaurant was rather disappointing. We ordered a salad as a starter and received two green salad leaves chasing a piece of onion, and tomatoes for a very high price. Afterwards we ordered the charcoal for 38 francs. We have a very small bowl with fries and a few slices of meat that are quite tough to grill. The accompanying sauces were unremarkable. We recommended fries and were surprised to pay extra for our fries even though we ordered wine. I still think the restaurant could have “offered” that little extra fries. To conclude, this restaurant is expensive and not very commercial!

Lamentable. They didn't have our reservation when we arrived, we waited 45 minutes without entry or drink, fortunately we asked for a card. We pointed out the owner (?) who replied “there is a 1.5 hour wait to be served, do you want to order or not? ". Very arrogant, we decided to leave. I don't recommend, run away.

I haven't finished dinner yet and just because of this caldo verde I can confirm that the quality is very good and that it really reminds me of the good flavors of Portuguese cuisine, thank you very much for the kindness of the staff and management, great service. After 3 years I came back and I can RECOMMEND 100%, Francezinha, very good presentation and flavors of the magnificent dishes, prices are normal in Switzerland, fantastic atmosphere with great energy from those who serve us. They still teach us some things about.........in this case wines, which fruit not to eat to taste a wine and which one so that all wines taste good even if they are rough???? You'll have to go there to find out lol The location level is good because we only have trees and no movement of cars and carts 😅😅😅 .....

I would like to thank the staff for today’s evening. I'm not from Vevey and I discovered a super pretty restaurant with a smiling team, very welcoming and concerned about our well-being. The meal (starter, main course and dessert) was really to my taste, I loved it (I had the chicken slate). I recommend !! I look forward to coming back during the day to enjoy the view outside! Excellent Place. My colleague and I were attended to by Mrs. da Costa. We had rib-eye steaks on the grill with Brazilian-style black beans and cream milk for dessert. This gem is tucked away but well worth the visit. My meal was delicious. I tried two traditional Portuguese items that I was unfamiliar with and they were superb! I got the Francesinha Special and for dessert we had the Molotof and Flan. The chef and waitress were so kind and welcoming!

Amazing☺️ Traditional Portuguese food prepared by the loving hands of Senhora da Costa. As a starter we had a salad with olives and bread, all delicious. For main dishes we ordered the francesinha and the bacalhau na tile, both excellent. To accompany the entire dinner, a good Alentejo wine recommended by the friendly lady from Costa and, to finish beautifully, the cream milk, which was still warm. I highly recommend it. From the location, the view, the 5-star welcome and the inviting atmosphere, everything is perfect. The food is authentic as if we were in Portugal.

Soooo good food! The restaurant has a super pleasant atmosphere, with an incredible view and we cannot forget the friendliness and availability of the staff! Super kind! I highly recommend it, it's totally worth it. Don't be fooled by the surrounding industrial area because it is a little hidden gem without a doubt!

Good food for a quick stop just of the highway. It has a nice terraceview over trees. However, it is in a truckerzone, which you don't see from the pictures.

Francesinha is one of the best I’ve ever eaten here in Switzerland!

If you are walking around and come across this restaurant, avoid it. One step in and you will suffer consequences. The meat was unchewable and they said I ate more concrete than anything else.
