Nice surprise. We were celebrating a birthday, 10 people, and we had reserved the same simple menu for the whole table. Ham and fries: But this wasn't the standard ham and fries. A real mess to start with a delicious vinaigrette. The ham was excellent, well presented and served with real perfect home fries and various vegetables. For dessert, a magnificent vanilla meringue. Everything is homemade and you can feel it. What a pleasure. The setting is very pleasant, especially the small room. We look forward to coming back and enjoying the terrace. Well done to the couple who run the restaurant and the hotel. I believe most of the products are local. Congratulations on the simple but careful home cooking, it's becoming rare.

Was a little disappointed that there wasn't a large selection ala carte. Wine by the glass 35 francs for 5 dc entrecote 41.- you shouldn't have to pay another 9.- for a little morel sauce. Too bad. More intended for the better off

Just had an aperitif, neither ate nor slept. The glass of Valais rosé was too expensive 5.50/dl Tables not cleaned, crumbs everywhere. Despite the nice setting, does this make us hesitate to return there for a meal?

We go there in the summer, it's a real pleasure, we found the real taste of the tomatoes, the fresh goat's cheese to look for from small producers, we returned at the beginning of November, the foie gras is excellent, the tender venison medallions, the garnish is a pleasure for the eyes and palate very generous quantities. Although the service was a little long (around 1 hour), this was justifiable because we were a group of 12 who almost all ordered entrecôtes. Despite our number we were all served at the same time. The cooking of my entrecôte was perfectly rare as requested, the tagliatelle very fresh, all accompanied by a chanterelle sauce, it was a pure delight, it is with pleasure that I will return to it.

A really beautiful hotel. We really enjoyed the night at la Croix fédérale, the room was fantastic, creative and very well maintained and clean. The breakfast was also very good and there was a lot of variety. We would like to come again!

I highly recommend this place. A huge thank you for the welcome, we asked for a brunch for 10 people, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the brunches. If there is a place to visit in Switzerland it is Muriaux and with a stop at the federal cross. I will come back with great pleasure. THANKS

Top cuisine, service to improve

Phew! They are back... Deniz and Frédéric Pache are back in Jura (the real one this time!) With almost 2 years of absence, I despaired of tasting again this sublime cuisine, both simple (local products) and elaborate (in tastes and presentations). Succulent daily specials in a magnificent, freshly renovated decor. A huge congratulations! Never change a winning team ! You remain in my heart and in my taste buds, the taste reference of the region.

Le restaurant de la croix federale à Muriaux vous propose quotidiennement un super menu à Sfr. 17.50 avec le café offert. Les menus proposés sont d excellente qualité ainsi que les mets proposés à la carte. Un super accueil de la part des nouveaux propriétaires. Un cadre agréable d ancien restaurant typique de la région. Cet etablissement dispose d une terrasse en été et d un ample parking pour vehicules.Si vous êtes dans la region allez faire un tour dans cet excellent etablissement.

L ambiente non è molto curato anche se la padrona è molto gentile. Quello che è interessante sono i prezzi che sono ok, ma la qualità della carne non è super e ... per fare un insalata mista non basta mettere due pezzetti di pomodoro. Si dovrebbero impegnare di più per dare un prodotto di qualità!!!!

Nous avons visité cet établissement lors d'une sortie d'entreprise, les patrons ainsi que le personnel sont très sympa, accueillant et très professionnel, la nourriture qui provient principalement des commerçants locaux est excellente, et la carte des menus et des vins variées. Il y a aussi des soirées à thème, Brésil, ect... . La salle principale est grande, le resto dispose également d'une plus petite salle avec petit bar idéal pour les repas d entreprise, anniversaire.... le restaurant dispose aussi d une terrasse. Franchement, ont c'est régalé. Sur les photos: 1.en entrée) croûte forestière avec morilles 2.en menu) pièce de boeuf (filet) sauce aux morilles,verrine de légumes et frites 3.en dessert) crème brûler .

Wir besuchten dieses Restaurant per Zufall, um das Mittagessen einzunehmen. Es ist ein einfaches, gemütliches Restaurant auf dem Lande. Wir bestellten Steak de Cheval mit Gemüse. Leider war das Fleisch äusserst zäh. Dieses Fleisch konnte auch mit vielen Kaubewegungen kaum zu sich genommen werden. Meine Partnerin liess deshalb mehr als die Hälfte des Fleisches stehen. Auf die Frage, ob uns das Essen geschmeckt habe, antworteten wir mit nein. Das Bedienungspersonl zeigte für unsere Bemerkung keine Regung. Es wurde uns auch nicht ein Preisnachlass oder irgend etwas offeriert. Wir waren nicht die einzigen, die mit dem Essen nicht zufrieden waren. Eine Frau bestellte croute forestière aux morilles. Leider war keine einzige Morchel im Essen zu finden. Auch diese Frau bekundete ihr Missfallen und verlangte den Chef. Der kam an den Tisch und belehrte die Frau, dass in diesem Essen nicht unbedingt Morcheln sein müssen. Es war für ihn unverständlich, dass sich die Frau beschwerte. Es sieht so aus, dass in diesem Restaurant nur mit billigen Lebensmitteln gearbeitet wird. Die Preise sind jedoch nicht dementsprechend. Auch beim Wein wird günstiger, nicht schlechter Wein mit einem Faktor grösser als 5 verkauft. Ich kann nur empfehlen, dieses Restaurant zu meiden.

Ce dernier samedi, la cuisine proposée nous transportait aux Antilles.Spécialités créoles cuisinées "maison" avec un bel assortiment d'entrées traditionnelles,plat principal avec poulet ainsi que du poulpe en sauce et bien sûr un dessert.On s'est régalé! Par le passé,nous avions déjà apprécié la soirée couscous,la soirée tajines.Le 3 décembre prochain,ce sera soirée brésilienne... On se réjoui de découvrir! De plus,l'accueil sincère et chaleureux des patrons et du couple ami qui les seconde en fait un endroit ou l'on y retourne toujours avec plaisir;))
