Just perfect. Welcome worthy of a starred restaurant, beautiful environment, rustic and pleasant decor. The waiter who took care of us was touchingly kind and friendly, with remarkable professionalism! Small error on one of a menu, but very kindly arranged by the desserts offered. A very appreciable consideration (and one that is missing in many other restaurants). The cuisine was incredible.... congratulations to the Chef and his team! I highly recommend this establishment, as we (almost) don't do it anymore!

The place is very friendly. The servers are friendly and helpful. We ate well overall (starter, plate and special hunting dessert) but the quantities were limited, especially the spaetzli. And the service a little long. As soon as the order was issued it took 45 minutes to receive the entry. Almost 3 hours to eat. We informed the waitress that the cabbage and pear were not cooked and therefore inedible. She's sorry. But a free coffee would have been the least we could do. Damage.

The meal was excellent although a little expensive. My daughter's nuggets were not cooked and the plate came back the same with fewer nuggets! In addition, we waited 1 hour 15 minutes to be served with the starter. I don't know if the fact of coming with children explains this wait but we saw 3 people arrive well after us and who were very quickly served by the owner while the waiter who took care of us was sometimes clumsy. We'll try again without the kids one day to see if we see a difference.

Meal with friends last night. The whole meal was perfect. The tartare was very good. The prawn salad was good but a little too much salad. Tasty ice cream. The wines were good. The water jugs take quite a long time to arrive. The service was long to get our meal. And our dessert. Around 30 to 45 minutes of waiting. The waiter forgot my partner's dessert but also the spoon for her dessert... but I had passed it on to her. When taking our order he confirmed to us that he knew how to keep 14 requests... but 6 desserts was too complicated. No apology from the server. Who blames the kitchen. (I find it a shame to blame others). We noticed that (the regulars are better taken care of) that the new "French" customers were not taken very seriously. We will come back but it will be with a desire to be taken more seriously for this type of restaurant. Ps: we booked online. No validation email received but our reservation was OK. Could there be a problem with returning emails? Nothing serious happens but I prefer to notify you. The setting is just magnificent 🙃.

The restaurant is hidden behind the cow sculpture when accessed from the left. It’s a place out of sight and where you feel really good. We'll come back for sure. The menu is varied, including different meat or fish tartars, vegetarian menus and children's menus with desserts just as delicious as everything else. The garden is splendid and well maintained. There are even a few private rooms upstairs. The style is varied with a more Italian touch which adds charm to everything else. Both old and modern decor. This place will appeal to all people of all ages and social backgrounds. A little gem away from it all.

To celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, we wanted to find an atypical place, where not only the cuisine was exquisite but also and above all the atmosphere and the service: The staff at the Restaurant du Golf de Payerne knew how to make this evening sublime. We were able to have an aperitif outside, benefiting for the evening from a magnificent private room upstairs for 10 people (they have another very large room available). We were able to decorate the tables as we wished, do karaoke, bring a cake from another caterer... A big thank you to Luciano who was very attentive to our wishes. Thanks to all the staff. Magnificent establishment and excellent meal. We have come 4 times now and we love it. The big downside is the attitude of the room manager who is not professional. During 3 of our visits, this gentleman drinks alcohol and eats during service and often at customers' tables, while the rest of the staff work. During our last visit, this Saturday, he was clearly drunk when he brought us the bill. Really a shame because it’s a beautiful establishment.

Les pennes de la chasse(émincé de chevreuils) sans accompagnement inscit sur la carte. Les pennes contenant en tout et pour tout 3 morceaux de chevreuils. Desserts copieux et bon.
