Charming restaurant, a bit of a victim of its success, because there are a lot of people and few people serving. But they all do their best and do it to the best of their ability. The table layout is great. The menu is substantial, with everything you would expect from a mountain restaurant. The mushroom crust was very good and generous, and the chanterelle puff pastry delicious. The chestnut ice cream was extremely delicious 😍

Not to be missed during your summer hikes......very nice to be able to take a break in a setting like this. Which doesn't spoil anything, pleasure to be kindly served.

We had a reservation for lunch which we recommend to do since this restaurant is Always packed. We ordered entrecôte that comes in a slate and it was really good. The ambient was amazing if you eat outside the mountains and green around really makes it special. The final road to reach the restaurant parking is awful people park anywhere and there's little space to move like an arm between the cars. If you're not careful where you park by the end of the launch your car will be scratched.

We had lunch today. The service was OK and friendly but honestly the food was just bad. Paella and macaroni. The macaroni was pathétique, no taste, not hot, no flavor. Quantity was small really as a Valaisan I feel ashamed as this is not Valais for 27 or 37 for a paella... Seriously?

The manager greeted me in an absolutely detestable way, because I had allergies: "That's it, it's starting" / rolling of eyes / stupid answers "Well the fries are made with fry oil" (incompetent in more or just dishonest?) then he goes to check because I insisted heavily and he comes back to me with the name of a brand! I would love for someone to borrow his car and fill it up with "Esso", diesel or petrol, I guess there's a one in two chance that the car dies, we'll see!

My wife and I arrived for lunch and were seated immediately with courtesy and warmth even though the place was packed and overflowing with customers. I ordered the lamb fillet served on a cooking slate….this was wonderful! My wife ordered the chicken covered in sauce with vegetables. Both dishes were delightful! It was a great compliment to our day at the lake. Highly recommend.

Well my goodness, we arrived too late?! The kitchen closes at 3 p.m.! We arrived at 2:50 p.m. but the order was taken at 3:04 p.m.! I wasn't able to have my fondue and madame not her entrecôte unfortunately... my mouth was watering! The service ? Not so good... but I like to believe that it will be better next time, if there will be one... I'm giving it three stars because I couldn't eat it hot! I took a Valaisanne plate for the trouble and it was quite plentiful and good... and finally the espresso and the bill, thirty-five bucks! But a free smile all the same...

An excellent surprise. A cuisine of products without fuss (the chef works alone, or almost, in his kitchen). Remarkable Valais lamb, as are the starters. Short local wine list, but with excellent properties, which are not necessarily the best known. You can trust the sommelier. In our opinion, of star quality. We'll go back quickly.

Zero stars attitude of the deplorable chef boss. We arrived at 1:45pm to eat something on a Tuesday and the waitress who was following her boss's orders told us they were no longer serving anything. At our insistence she still asked the question and we heard an answer not worthy of a restaurateur through the open kitchen door. For an address that promotes conviviality and good cuisine as a Valaisan I am very disappointed and I am ashamed for him when I think of the tourists who will pass by his place. A word to the wise.

Lors d'une balade depuis Anzère, je me suis arrête dans ce superbe restaurant de montagne pour un plat de chasse. Entrecote de cerf. Fabuleux. Bravo à la cuisine ainsi qu'au service. Tout était parfait

Accueil quelconque, service lent même si l'on a averti que nous avons que peu de temps pour manger. Plat du jour plutôt goûteux, des pilons de poulet assez salés, des frites croustillantes et des légumes très cuits. Au total, un repas sans intérêt si ce n'est de s'alimenter et de se réchauffer.

Nourriture correcte dans un cadre sympa. Mais à éviter s'il y a plus de 3-4 tables... nous avons attendu 45 minutes à une table qui n'avait pas été débarrassée et quand j'ai finalement demandé que cela soit fait, j'ai reçu une réponse grossière. Le repas a pris plus d'une heure pour arriver avec des prix un peu exagérés. Sans concurrence aux alentours, la qualité baisse et les prix montent! Management à revoir, voire à changer.

Petit arrêt après avoir fait le tour du lac. Magnifique terrasse, bel endroit. Malheureusement très cher pour la qualité des boissons commandées (frappés) CHF 8.50 pour 2 dl ... Scandaleux ! Ces prix sont éventuellement acceptables dans une grande ville au bord d'un lac ...

Nous sommes arrivés et à notre grande surprise, la table réservée quelques jours auparavant n'avait pas été prise en compte. Par chance il y avait une place pour 4 personnes. Nous avons ensuite attendu 1h15 entre l'entrée et le plat principal. Ce qui est plutôt très très long pour un menu du jour... Nous avons dû rappeler à 2 reprises la serveuse pour savoir si ils nous avaient oublié! Résultat, pour un repas en famille nous avons tous mangé séparément... Heureusement la broche était bonne. Pour le temps d'attente nous avons négocié la prise en charge des cafés et de la glace pour la petite. C'est dommage car on y retournera plus pour manger! Et les gens de la table d'à côté non plus
