Very good restaurant, good value for money,

We took the menu at 58.00. Really delicious. The starter (Bar) really incredible and the main course, very well cooked farm rabbit. The room is really beautiful with old beams. Very pleasant service and excellent advice. We were delighted!

Beautiful seasonal menu and very pleasant interior room on the mezzanine. Our starters and main courses were very successful with generous portions. The wine list also allowed us to discover the wines of the canton.

Servers incapable of being friendly. They should enjoy working in Switzerland for something other than the salary. The food is good but the service is lousy, I would never go back there again. To flee! Much better and cheaper in many places

Deplorable welcome and service. The view is pretty but move on for the rest, whether it's the manager or the waiters, they are unpleasant and inhumane. When you don't have the inclination to serve others, it's better to change careers and leave room for others. The place is sublime, you should sell and make way for restaurateurs who like to work so that we can once again enjoy this beautiful place without your attitudes which make us want to quickly go home or go elsewhere.

Detestable welcome. At 3.10 p.m. impossible to consume despite a half-empty terrace. Come back at 3:30 p.m. we are told with a smile. At 3:15 p.m. we were at the beach self-service where the friendliness of the person at the refreshment bar made us smile

I was literally asked to finish my coffee in 5 minutes because the waiters needed to set the tables for dinner which was still a long way off. There was clearly a lack of politeness in all dealings with them.

Expedited Service: 1) the dishes arrive before the wine order is made!!!! 2) we feel that my servers want to finish quickly. 3) no desire to satisfy customers or make them feel comfortable. Regarding the dishes: 1) Salad mixed in advance and therefore “cooked” and unappetizing. 2) The lake perch fillets are good, but a little soft, not crunchy. Very disappointing .

After making my reservation on the restaurant's website at 1:30 p.m., trying to call twice to warn that I would be 15 minutes late but with no response from the restaurant, here I arrived at 1:45 p.m., apologizing for my delay, a waiter received me in an extremely unpleasant manner by telling me that the kitchens close at 2 p.m. and that we would only have the choice of 2 dishes. Very surprised to hear this, the waiter once again telling me in a very cavalier manner that we were late, I decided to leave the table immediately. Whoever thinks they are this type of restaurant is far from being great restaurateurs. If we take away the terrace and the view of the lake, they can close shop with this kind of behavior towards customers!!!

Their waiter was super rude/ lack of hospitality education. I don’t think this behavior towards the clients even 2min drive from the restaurant across the border would be acceptable. Please be more careful who your hire cuz it’s a shame we liked the restaurant for years.

The food is good, the service a little less, people leave empty-handed even though there are things to clear out. The dishes are sent too quickly. You start the aperitif and you are already served your starter. The prices are higher than average but ultimately not that much given the setting, terrace with your feet in the water. To test.

Thank you for offering a children's menu equivalent to ours (lake perch fillet and vegetables). The cooking of the octopus was perfect and we tasted different wines all very good.

This is the third time we have passed through Hermance and we want to stop for a drink. Each time we were refused to sit down because they said they were preparing the tables for dinner (it was 5:15 p.m.). We went to another restaurant and when we came back after an hour their terrace was practically empty. However, the table indicated that the bar was open. Furthermore, the waiter behaved like a big boor. You have to remind him that in Switzerland 'there is no 35-hour week. You can find other restaurants in the area where the staff are much more helpful. Bravo to the idiot!!!

Very efficient service, charming and calming place with magnificent view and access to the lake. Top chef. Small downside, a waiter fails to be welcoming and seems disturbed by customer requests, nevertheless he does an efficient job, thank you. Suggestion for improvement: possibility of welcoming people just for a drink or coffee during meal times, particularly when the terrace is not full ;-)

Catastrophic and unpleasant welcome. And reading the comments it's apparently a habit to receive poorly in this place... a shame to have such a location with such people in charge. Especially for a place that belongs to the municipality!!

A wonderful place to enjoy Lake Geneva and the special landscape there. There are very tasty fresh fish dishes from the lake and wine from the region. The service is very helpful and friendly. The food is served quickly, is tasty and the portions are not too big to fit a dessert.

Very disappointed, a manager who was as unfriendly as possible, his welcome was shameful, feeling like he was disturbing. I didn't know that catering made it difficult to smile. The only star present concerns the view and gives courage to the other servers.

An ordeal today, April 10 at noon. We waited 1 hour for the dish after ordering instead of the 1/2 hour announced. The chef was probably overwhelmed with >100 seats instead of the usual 20/30. The sense of the customer would surely have called for at least one gesture like offering us coffee…. No, none of that. Too bad for the image of this establishment when the dishes are of quality.

I have been to this restaurant three times already and I really liked it. The decoration is superb, I feel good there. The service is good, it's very frank, but that's the style. We like it, we don't like it. The location is great and the dishes are very good. The desserts... Hm you have to taste them I won't be able to describe them 😉🙃 For me it is now a safe bet when I introduce our beautiful region. THANKS, Eva

I just ate this evening in this restaurant, to which I returned after being very well received a few months ago and in which I had a very good meal! But this time I'm surprised 😲! The main course not bad, but nothing exceptional (Lac Leman perch fillets) and the disappointment was the dessert 🍨 a panacota coffee with apples and cinnamon, really disappointing, no taste and given that I didn't eat it, the waiter asked me why I hadn't finished the dessert; I responded with the truth and said that I didn't like it, and why (no taste, really not good). Before leaving I spoke to the waiter to say that I have nothing against him and that I am sorry that he received my comment, and he replied: I have nothing to say about your comment I asked the question and I pass the answer on to the cook. I agree, it's his job but his job is also to be polite to customers. I no longer recommend because I think the quality of catering and service has changed.

At 12:45 p.m. it's not possible to "just" drink a coffee, you can only eat. The terrace is max. a third full, but apparently they don't need it...

Rarely have I been treated so unkindly. Restaurant hardly has any guests in the garden late at lunchtime, but you are sent away if you just want to drink a coffee and not eat anything.

Beautiful place, excellent food, but the service is not great. Very slow service and the staff is not great. Once installed on this beautiful terrace, you have to wait a long time before obtaining a card. We come and ask you twice if you don't want an aperitif, water and still no card. The perch fillets are the best, although served in a bowl. It was better before. Once you pay the bill, the boss doesn't say thank you or goodbye...

I have eaten here a few times and it’s quite good. Today I arrived for lunch at 1355 - the restaurant is open for lunch until 2pm. When a restaurant says it’s open until 2pm that means you need to order by 2pm. Of course it doesn’t mean you need to have finished by 2pm. However at 1355 the main waiter said we cannot eat and the kitchen is closed. I wonder if the owner know he is turning down paying guests due to his laziness.

I ate there quite a couple of times. The food is delicious but, except for one or two, the waiters are rude and unfriendly. Friday night: the couple in front of us were offered a table which they finally rejected. We were next and the waiter said "no table". He did not even ask if we had booked or not. And that was not the first time.

Thursday June 16, 6 p.m. the terrace is deserted, the tables are set. I ask if we can have an aperitif, there are 4 of us. Answer "after 6 p.m. we no longer serve lemonade, there is a refreshment bar at the end of the platform. » And we left. A magnificent place on the other hand the staff is a disaster! Not at all nice on the contrary... not smiling - aggressiveness there! My children were shocked We had a banana split for CHF 13.-! There were 2 pieces of bananas! It's incredible! Not recommended

We had a great time. The exterior setting is magnificent and the interior very well decorated, small preference for the upper floor. The dishes are tasty with original tastes. The welcome is very good.

A superb location on the shores of Lake Geneva facing the Jura mountains. The atmosphere is peaceful and enough to help you unwind for both a business meal and a romantic dinner. An efficient and delicious menu, discreet, fast but competent service. The cuisine is tasty, the prices reasonable. To park, you have to look a little bit, it's true, but you can find it. I advise you to book in advance. In any case, I recommend this establishment.
