Excellent experience, very flavourful food, with fresh chopped green chilies. It was soo good we ate it all before taking a picture. We had palak paneer, chicken tikka, dal makhni, bread basket. And mango spritz and mango lassi. The service was friendly and attentive.

It was a perfect meal and especially the waiter was very kind and looked out for our wellbeing all the time. We would recommend it and it is for sure not the last time we ate there.

Absolutely the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to.The restaurant is clean and cozy. The owner is so friendly and cares about every customer's wish.After dinner we packed some garlic naan to go, and the owner even generously packed some sauce for me for free. I was deeply touched by his kindness. Every dish has authentic Indian flavors, made with fresh ingredients, so delicious that we almost licked the plates clean. Make sure to try the mango lassi, it's fantastic. We will definitely be back!

I am of Indian origin living in Switzerland and a frequent visitor to Leukerbad. I am always reluctant to try Indian restaurants here as my experiences have always been average and my husband insists that the best Indian food he has had comes out of our kitchen! So imagine my delight when I ate at Golden India with friends and was presented with a delicious, authentic meal in a warm atmosphere. We had pakoras and poppadums to start, followed by Butter Chicken (my highlight), Lamb Karahi, Palak Paneer and Aloo Gobi accompanied by rice and perfect naan. I am so impressed - I will definitely be back!

Food was incredibly fine. We were asked how hot we wanted. My friend's vegetarian curry was not spicy as ordered and my fish curry was medium spicy. The spiciness of my dish was perfect for me! Very friendly staff who try very hard to fulfill every wish. Can really recommend the place!

Very good Indian restaurant. The food is wonderful, the samosas were freshly made, the chai is very aromatic. Palak Panner and Butter Chicken were very good. We had more than enough food and were allowed to take the leftovers with us. The service is very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended restaurant.

We had the best dinner date we’ve ever had. The most delicious curry, which is kept hot because of the candles underneath. The taste was incredible, so much flavour and the garlic naan was amazing, all presented in a special and elegant way. We had Indian white wine which was refreshing and delicious and the service was just perfect. We were made to feel special and taken care of. Look forward to going again

Lovely service, delicious food.

The dishes were good, prices reasonable for the zone and the waiter very nice. Even the chef came to check that all was fine! A good place to go if you want to change from the classical cheese and roesti dishes or pizzas and burgers that the other restaurants around propose.

The food is very tasty there ! No doubt about it and the service, despite a slightly stressed air, is smiling, friendly and fast. But I found the room relatively cold, without atmosphere, and a little noisy. So like us, come there to eat, and not for the atmosphere :()

Came to Leukerbad for a weekend trip and we were excited to try this restaurant. It did not disappoint. Definitely would consider this one of the best Indian food we’ve had. My absolute favorite was the piping hot Naan bread.

I have been in Leukerbad for the past 2 weeks and this restaurant is a real gem. Every entree I have tried is delicious and I keep coming back almost everyday. The gentlemen who works also gives amazing service. I wish more restaurants like this existed.

Amazing!! We've been to a lot of Indian restaurants but this one is definitely worth the detour. Spicy but not too strong or too salty, it was really excellent and large portions. The service was fast and very pleasant. Go there with your eyes closed.

We had a really delicious meal today at this restaurant. We were a bit skeptical, but we were looking forward to something different than the standard restaurants in this village. :) It's not cheap, but that's nothing here in Switzerland :) Indian beer 6.50. Dish around 30 euros. The Biryani was very tasteful. Friend had Lamb Rogan Josh. Everything went well 👌🏻 The atmosphere still needs work. I think there could be more Indian paintings/flowers hanging everywhere. I thought the outside terrace was a bit sparsely decorated. I would personally make Hindu dolls, candles on the table, and altars. Exactly what India can be so beautiful with. A front of a Mumbai Taxi? In short, there is plenty of room for creativity, which means people will stay longer, I think. Very friendly gentleman served us neatly and kindly. 5 stars for him. I hope they make it and it gets nice and busy. Highly recommended ❤️

We had a very good lamb curry and butter chicken. The dish comes with unlimited rice. The only thing we would maybe improve is serve mango lassi colder but otherwise everything was perfect.

Red flags you shouldn't ignore: 1) When you see a near perfect rating (4.9) you have to be extremely cautious. 2) Dig a little bit deeper and check the reviewers profiles and you will realize those reviews were bought. 3) we were the only customers in the restaurant (and it was lunch time). Our experience was unfortunately VERY poor. 4 tiny dishes of chicken/fish for a whooping 130 chf (count 30-35 chf for a dish). There was so much sauce and so little meat. Nobody wanted to finish the tiny dishes as it was not fresh.

Located in this very sceanic but under the radar town, this restaurant serves excellent Indian food. Gurudeep the service manager is extremely polite and courteous. The menu is extensive with something for everyone. Loved the mixed vegetable, vegetable pakoras and the complimentary bowl of rice.

Wonderful restaurant with true original Indian Cuisine, quite unexpected in this classic Swiss town. And what an excellent service! The owners made it a point to remember what you ate last time so as to advice for the next time! Broad range of lovely dishes and one tastes even better than the other.
