We ordered Gletscher Fondue for 2 and pasta from Kids menü. Food was very delicious and staff very friendly. Also the atmpsphere is very romantic. We will come again for sure.

Unbeatable ambience in the old Disvolezza gondola, especially if you used to ride it up the mountain yourself. The racelette was super tasty, but the bacon cubes seemed a bit too watery and therefore unsuitable for frying. At every table the bacon cubes jumped from the plate across the table. The team was a bit confused in a friendly way. The fact that everything didn't go perfectly was made up for by the funny and friendly manner.

Exceptional A room created inside a disused gondola lift and furnished with care. Very romantic atmosphere, suitable for both couples and larger groups. Specializing in fondue and raclette, we had both. Excellent quality. Excellent service.

Probably the best "arranged" fondue I've eaten. Autumn fondue with fresh porcini mushrooms, chestnuts and a bowl of cranberry on the side for freshness. Gorgeous. Pedro's service is great and the place is really nice.

An atypical, timeless dinner in this cable car cabin converted into a small chalet. The staff is incredibly friendly with quality service. And what about the fondue! A fan of various stations, for me this is one of the best fondues I have ever eaten!

We went to the Gondolezza restaurant on May 14th for an appetizer and fondue as well as a Racelett meal. Everything was delicious and Gerry served us and pampered us according to all the rules of gastronomic art. Highly recommended for the charming ambience and also the food is a dream. We will be back. We visited the Gondolezza during our vacation in St. Moritz with our little daughter. Particularly noteworthy is the courteous service provided by “Gerri” that evening. We were looked after extremely warmly and competently. The quality of the food and drinks was excellent. Our fondue was of the usual excellent Pontresin quality and the Petit Arvine and the special atmosphere make it a very special dinner. Our little daughter was very enthusiastic about the fish sticks and painting materials. All in all, the Gondolezza is highly recommended, especially to escape the hustle and bustle in and around St. Moritz. We are already looking forward to the next time and Gerri reported on the beautiful outdoor seating and fondue on cool summer evenings. Thanks!

In this very cozy place there is a beautiful and intimate atmosphere. The staff is very kind and friendly, we had a small misunderstanding but it was resolved very well and with kindness. The food offering is limited to fondue or raclette with the addition of something on request, such as boiled potatoes (a lot for the price but not very tasty) dried meat or dried salami (good) some pickles (like the corn on the cob which I personally I didn't prefer) and things like that. The fondue is very good, albeit a little thoughtful. Take a maximum of one per couple. It is served with plenty of bread. Having chosen the cheapest one, we managed to spend a little less than €30 each. The more particular ones are probably much better, we went for the simple one so as not to overdo it. Overall super recommended. But don't overdo it with the food because it's all quite heavy.

Firstly, the entire feel of Gondolezza is quaint but spectacular. The outdoor seating for drinks before a meal is a small area but has such an inviting feel. Inside the restaurant, the seating area is also small but doesn't feel cramped at all. There are, essentially, two main choices: fondue or raclette, with multiple versions of each. Since the restaurant is so small, the drink menu is not huge by any means, but it does still have everything one would need for fondue or raclette. The entire meal with drinks will be a little pricey, but that's to be expected in this area. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming, and service is prompt, even with the tiny number of staff members working. Depending on the people dining in, the volume is usually a little loud, but that is to be expected with a full booked restaurant and small interior, so sound has nowhere to go. Because Gondolezza is one of the few top-rated restaurants in the area, making reservations are a MUST. Walk-ins are almost always turned away. If you're looking for a very unique restaurant to explore, Gondolezza needs to be high on your list of places to visit!

A mega evening, a must go! This is really an absolute top location for Swiss specialties. The service is excellent. The food quality is perfect. We felt totally comfortable in this wonderful atmosphere. Really really great! It's just better to leave your jackets in the car, so at least they don't smell like cheese 🙈 The restaurant is a crystal clear recommendation!

Very good standard and truffle raclette, which you don’t easily find as an option. Standard fondue was good too. Very atmospheric and cozy dining space as in an old cable car which the owners of the Walther hotel who own the restaurant have paneled in wood and their impeccable taste. Wait staff very kind and friendly but forgot that we were doing the menu with salad option. No matter, the fondue/raclette was a full meal In itself and we didn’t need this. Reservations a must at peak times.

The place itself is worth the detour. You eat in an old cable car cabin on the Diavolezza! Fondue or Raclette. We only tasted the raclette. Good but not exceptional. But the service was very attentive.

The most romantic and perfect place for a Christmas dinner. I didn't think a dream would come true. The location is fabulous, the service truly fantastic (Daniela is wonderful and very attentive to everything). Crazy fondue (we tried the beer one and the champagne and truffle one). The brownie (with ice cream and cream) is the best I've eaten in my life! It is an unforgettable place

Very nice food! Super friendly and helpful staff, who kept coming to take care of the truffle founde fire in the strong wind and snow. In Covid-19 time we need to stay outdoor in such a bad weather day. But thanks to this restaurant, we had a nice lunch;)

wir haben das gondolezza beim spazieren entdeckt und für abends einen tisch reserviert. wir haben ein raclette genossen und waren begeistert! der käse wirklich extrem gut, der service freundlich und kompetent. auch ohne aufpreis noch einen kleinen nachschlag bekommen! wirklich toll arrangiert in dieser umgebauten gondel. eine romantische feuerstelle draussen noch zum verweilen ein nachher. ein must für käse liebhaber

A beautiful location in a small park in Pontresina opposite the Hotel Walther. Sitting outside on a summer evening is really wonderful here. We recommend the beer from the Engadin brewery directly from Pontresina!

Sehr nette Mitarbeiter, guter und freundlicher Service und feines Raclette. Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Wenn wir das nächste mal in Pontresina sind, werden wir ganz bestimmt wieder einen Abend im Gondolezza verbringen.

Wir waren innerhalb einer Woche ein paar Mal Gast. Mal zum Apero, mal zum Fondue. Service war sehr nett und anständig. Fondue konnten wir draussen Essen. Alles sehr gut. Die Preise sind für mich an der oberen Grenze. Bin gespannt, ob das Niveau auch längerfristig gehalten werden kann.

Herrlich hier bei einem Kaffee den Nachmittag zu geniessen oder mit einem Aperitif den Abend zu starten. Teils sogar mit Alphornklängen. Freundliche, lockere aber professionelle Bedienung. Die Haus-Limo ist der Hammer. Und die home made Grissini dazu ebenfalls.

Wonderful ambience for fondue or raclette but for those that don’t like those two Swiss dishes they offer a menu from the Hotel Walther. This restaurant is a must if you are in the area.

We didn't know the area and happened to walk by this place by chance. would highly recommend it for dinner if you like fondue or raclette. if you're in the alps or switzerland and haven't tried fondue or Raclette, this is a fun place to do so... If you don't like cheese based foods, I would try a different place. they have non-cheesy menu items, patrons come here because of fondue and raclette and the smell can be overwhelming... More important than the food, though is the service. The lady in charge of the place - she's prominently in one of the main pictures - is one of the most attentive, kind and helpful waitresses. She made our dinner extra special.Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the restaurant is in an old gondola that was in service until 2012 or sometime around then...

The location in an old gondola lift alone is worth seeing. Our hotel was kind enough to reserve a table for us. We chose the house specialty: original Swiss raclette! The service was super nice and attentive. As the raclette cheese slowly released its spicy aroma under the heater, our mouths watered! With wavy (jacket potatoes), silver onions and gherkins an absolute culinary delight!!! Plenty of cheese and side dishes were served. So our stay in Pontresina was a real highlight for us!

Als Hotelgäste von nebenan hatten wir nicht weit. Es lohnt sich zu reservieren. Innen rustikal ausgebaute Gondel der Diavolezza Bahn. Raclette mit Einzelofen, Fondue... lecker bis zum letzten Bissen. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Sogar die Hôtelière, Frau Walther, kam vorbei -sehr aufmerksam ! Draussen Feuer und Sitze mit Decken für einen gemütlichen Apéro bei Sonnenuntergang.

Wir besuchten dieses Lokal auf um einen Appero an der Sonne mit schöner Aussicht zu geniessen. Die Getränke waren sehr gut, das Bier ebenfalls. Zusätzlich gab es noch Kräcker.

Siamo stati a cena in questo locale che ci ha incuriositi per la sua particolarità. Abbiamo scelto il menu con raclette e fonduta. Per iniziare ci hanno servito dei salumi per poi arrivare ai piatti forti a base di formaggio. Tutto molto buono. Interessanti anche le proposte dei vini.

Nous sommes de passage à Pontresina un jour d’orage : la fondue délicieuse et copieuse accompagnée d’une salade très bien assaisonnée et d’un verre de Fendant, et la soirée a été vraiment réussie. L’accueil est chaleureux et souriant, le cadre vraiment agréable et décoré avec goût.

We have been to this cute little restaurant located within a cabin of a lift in order to have a local dinner. As a starter we had a tremendous veal sausage and as the main course a fondue. The fondue was so good that we had to order another half a portion. The service was very friendly and fast. To our big surprise we were not charged with the half portion of the fondue even after asking for it. Overall a very nice experience and a very tasty food.

Restaurant Gondolezza is a great restaurant for traditional swiss food. Corinne was knowledgeable and patient when it came to showing us how to use the raclette machine. Both the fondue and raclette were absolutely delicious and the view outside the gondola is spectacular. Very memorable experience! Reservations are absolutely necessary.

Waren zum Apéro und zu einer Kleinigkeit am Mittag. Sehr zuvorkommender Service, Essen sehr lecker und der Garten, sowie die Aussicht top. Zudem hat es Parkplätze in unmittelbarer Nähe - vor allem die Freundlichkeit ist vorbildlich, leider nicht mehr selbstverständlich.

Fein und top Bedingung. Sehr zuvorkommend mit Kinder und mit Leute mit besonderen Essbedürfnisse. Mein Sohn wünschte sich extra Knoblauch im Fondue. Die Küche erfüllte ihm den Wunsch.

The food is marvelous! the place is great! It is an actual Gondola! If you are goint to Pontresina, or even if you are close in Saint Moritz you should experience this place! It is not cheap, but it is worth it, specially considering that switzerland is not cheap at all!

If you don’t like cheese then save your money, but if you want to experience something special then book a table right now.It was a special occasion for my father and we were on a road trip. 100% one of the most memorable times of our time together and one he will not forget. Being -14 outside it was lovely to get in the warmth and greeted with the smell that can only be associated with fondue. Friendly staff. Clean. Family Friendly. Good meats to start, local beer and lots of saturated fats. What else would you want in this setting. I love this place and ended up staying at the hotel in March. So that says a lot.

Für heute Abend hatten wir hier einen Tisch reserviert - was sich auszahlte, war das "Restaurant" voll ausgebucht.Wir wurden sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich bedient.Der Salat "Chrüsi Müsi" war lecker. Danach bestellten wir das "Teufel-Fondue". Ebenfalls sehr lecker - allerdings nicht wirklich scharf. Den vom Hause empfohlenen Fendant haben wir ebenfalls sehr genossen und können ihn wärmstens empfehlen.Sehr gefallen hat mir, dass uns ein Nachschlag angeboten wurde! Wo gibt es das schon!Ein rundum gelungener Abend!

La location è davvero singolare: siamo in un ex cabina di Diavolezza e quindi i coperti sono limitati, ma non a discapito della qualità o del servizio. Qui si viene principalmente per là racchette o la fondue è il dubbio è davvero amletico. Provate la fondue alla birra Palü .... indimenticabile...

Das kleine Restaurant besteht aus einer der beiden alten Gondeln der Diavolezza-Luftseilbahn und weckte bei mir nostalgische Erinnerungen. Wie oft mag ich hierin auf den Berg gefahren sein.Möglicherweise stellte sich deshalb schon dadurch und das gekonnt restaurierte Interieur ein besonderes Hochgefühl ein. Das georderte Käsefundue hielt aber auch davon abgesehen höchsten Qualitätsanforderungen stand. Der Preis des ‚Gletscher-Fondues‘ war mit Fr. 29,- angesichts auch der reichhaltigen Portion angemessen. Den erstklassigen Service von Corinne gab es dazu. Der St. Saphorin von Testuz war mit Fr. 48,00 ortsüblich bepreist und rundete ein schönen, gemütlichen Abend ab.Absolut empfehlenswert.

Nach der sehr herzlichen Begrüssung durften wir an einem 2er Tisch Platz nehmen. Wurden mit nach dem Apéro (Engadiner Bier) einem Vorspeisenplättli und einem sehr guten Fondue verwöhnt. Auch der Wein passte perfekt. Super-speditive aber auch extrem freundliche Bedienung. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen ganz sicher wieder!!!

Ich habe hier gegessen, als ich zum ersten Mal in Pontresina war. Das Restaurant war eine reine Freude. Ich habe das Raclette gewählt, was sehr lecker war. Für mich ist dieses Restaurant die reine Schweiz. Das Ambiente, der Service, das Essen usw. zeigten, warum das Restaurant in Pontresina auf Platz 1 steht.

Gestern Abend waren wir mit Freunden im Gondolezza. Schon länger wollten wir hier einkehren und nun hatte es endlich mit der Reservation gepasst. Entweder bekommt man den Tisch bis oder ab 20 Uhr. 2-Schichtsystem. Wir nahmen entspannt einen Tisch ab 20 Uhr. Top Käsefondues und Raclette. Sehr schmackhaft. Aussergewöhnliche Atmosphäre. Sehr freundlicher Service. Unbedingt waschbare Kleidung anziehen. Danach riecht man definitiv nach Käse.
